For example, if I would like to have a blue cape, but white armour pieces, that's currently impossible with certain armour due to the colour mapping

I think that this idea is totally awesome and I completely agree with you, but I just wanted to check - when you say skill roll, you mean crash roll right? I'm thinking a crash roll like in parkour, but it sounds like you're saying 'if the tenno has +2 STR and +5 CHR then they don't take fall damage' or something.
But yeah, I do parkour in real life, and I think a crash roll whilst landing would be awesome.

Hi Lordmuck,
I think by solar rails he may have meant Junctions. The Junctions are a new addition with the Specters of the Rail update, and they're how new players unlock new planets to progress through the starchart!
Attached to the completion of each Junction are new quests and item blueprints - as such, they'll be a great way for you to re-integrate yourself into Warframe!
Definitely follow PeachyPurpleNova's advice to the letter; by starting out as if you've only just begun playing Warframe, you'll soon find that you get right back into the swing of things!
As an aside, I would personally save up some platinum for some Warframe/Weapon slots to build up your collection! If spending money on platinum doesn't take your fancy, a fun way to earn platinum is to farm prime parts and then sell them to other players via the Trading Channel. You may want to read up on the new Prime farming system here before you do that, though!
There's a ton of exciting new content for you to discover now, so I'm sure it may seem a little overwhelming at first. By just taking it one step at a time and enjoying the moment, you'll soon be ontop of it all, though.

EDIT: My condolences about your dog :( if you're looking for a new companion, you may want to bring your codex scanner to the Orokin Derelict to look for Kavat (space cat!) DNA, and you could breed a new feline companion! Or, if you still want man's best friend at your side, you could always head to Earth to search for Kubrow dens, and find a new egg to hatch. The choice is yours ;)

HOLY MOLY, I'm more excited about the Sciathin Jetpack than I am about the next War Within update; and I loved the Second Dream! Man, the jetpack syandanas just give the game an entire breath of fresh air for me... they really do make a huge difference to my frame, can't wait to see more jetpacks in the future! Hopefully DE will make a few too eventually!
I definitely agree with the guy earlier about the fact that jetpacks should be their own type of syandana and have a rocket jump animation with jets replace their bulletjump. I'd say it's only a matter of time hopefully, once the devs have some of the more pressing updates off their plate! ^_^

Hey DE, just still wondering when we'll be able to customise our syandanas separately to our armour pieces? For example, if we'd like a red syandana but without our shoulder plates being a displeasing bright red? ;P

· How’s progress on the function of customising syandanas separately to armour pieces? We’re all really looking forward to it! For example, I would like a red syandana, but grey armour.
· When will the Votekick function become available? Too often players sit there AFK when needed in missions, and the current anti-AFK system is extremely trivial to bypass.
· Both Zephyr and Vauban are most in need of a rework, due to the fact that they technically have only 3 abilities. Tailwind and Vauban's Jump Pad are both useless due to the introduction of Parkour 2.0 and bulletjumping. Of course these are going to be replaced with a useful ability (like Excalibur's rework), but is this further down the line or can we expect it any time soon?
· What's happening upstairs in the relays, through those transparent blue barriers?
· Will there be Sentient-themed warframes, sentinels, tilesets e.t.c.? More sentient-themed weapons and accessories?
· Will Warframe auxiliary 'face' accessories ever contain something permanent, unlike seasonal moustaches and bunny ears? Will we have cross-Warframe helmets? Visors? Hats? Halos, horns, glasses, techy monocles, communication headsets e.t.c?
· Also more Titan Extractors for higher mastery ranks? The fact that we can go from mastery rank ten to TWENTY-ONE without even being rewarded for it is a little disheartening.

Depressingly, this bug still exists in September 2023. Luckily I AFKed in the hangar area for 10 minutes and the dialogue restarted + Wolf eventually spawned, so it's worth not abandoning your mission, just wait and go on your phone for a bit and it should eventually fix itself.
