    • Railjack Pause menu now offers a "Return to Dojo" option that returns you to the Dry Dock instead of "Abort Mission" which would rudely kick you straight back to your Orbiter.

Actually, why isn't this a thing in all open world areas? If you go directly to the open world, do some mining or fishing you have to go to the city before going back to your orbiter or you lose everything. Why? Same thing if you do a mission and complete it, why do you have to manually run to the city before going to the orbiter? I mean, I get if you abandon the mission still unfinished, but once it's completed, everything should be locked in and the Abort option should change to "Leave Area" with the choices of "City" or "Orbiter".

  2. BUGS:

    1. If you fail a RJ mission and get dropped off in the Dojo, everything becomes really laggy to the point you can barely move the mouse and click anything until you leave the Dojo and come back then it's fin again until you fail a mission.

    2. Venus Defense, after 5 rounds I chose to exit, went back to the RJ and selected a different mission, I started down the "space warp" tunnel to the next mission and it just stuck there. As type this 10 min later, I'm still stuck in the warp tunnel. I can't even abort the mission because it says, "Mission cannot be aborted since it has already been completed.". The mission console is deactivated in this state, so I can't get back to the Dojo or select a different mission. Looks like the only option is going to be Alt+F4 to force close the program, of course losing any rewards.

Bonus: The original post in the thread seems to have the values for MKII and MKIII Battle Mods reversed in the Table. At least I hope it's reversed in the post and not in game. It would be really dumb if the MKII's do more damage than MKIII.

Things are bad in a big way.

I didn't get any bundle despite maxing out railjack grid and having built many parts, dirac got transferred into endo at 1:1 despite the railjack mods now requiring 100x the endo to upgrade, the new railjack modes appear to be bugged i.e. defense extracting at 5 rounds gives the failure message, and there's no reward, no explanation of how long you should stay for the reward, railjack is way underpowered now compared to what we were used to because the capacity is nowhere near what one would need to fill out all the slots with max mods even with everything forma'd, NPC crews are very weak and even at rank 5 gunnery they can't even shoot off drop pods, kuva lich crews are underwhelming, only usable for defense, can't even be trained to shoot. Ah yes complex systems point and shoot.

Can't even find the side turrets, there's now a back turret for.. some reason, even though intrinsic #2 from gunnery gives you 360 vision, gunner crewmen wont man or shoot the forward cannon, and you can't set secondary roles for crew i.e. prioritize defense if breached, or prioritize repair if catastrophic malfunction..

There's a lot broken and underwhelming and while I played some railjack before I'm not even gonna play warframe for a while now, so put off am I from it.

The patch notes explicitly say that the turrets are no longer on the sides but the top and bottom. The Top turret is now where the exit used to be in the gun room. The bottom turret is now where the Arsenal Station used to be in the gun room. The exit is now in the dead center of the gun room floor. There is no longer an Arsenal station.

Do you destroy crewships in scarlet spear? O.o

    Yes and no.

If the ship is decently fast, there is no reason at all to destroy anything in space, except maybe the Splinterx and Ram Sleds.
If the ship is factory stock and slow af then you MAY need to kill the crew ships to make sure the satellite survives. This is less necessary after they made the armor changes to the satellite though.

  5.  Ok I see what is going on and your numbers now make sense. I am not sure if this is how it is supposed to work but here is how it is actually working....

The Corinth Prime fires 6 pellets per shot. The buff is being divided by the number of pellets and then being applied to each pellet:

On 2020-04-09 at 7:30 AM, TheCatPlaysGamez said:

A fully modded Corinth Prime, headshots: 4k-6k damage. 834% buff increases this to 10-14k damage.

    So 834% / 6 = 139% per pellet
    4k damage * 2.39 = 9.56K damage
    6k damage * 2.39 = 14.34K damage

The Redeemer Prime fires 10 pellets per shot

On 2020-04-09 at 7:30 AM, TheCatPlaysGamez said:

redeemer prime, unmodded, 0 combo, headshots: 60-85 damage, 592% buff: 72-266 damage

    592% / 10 = 59.2% per pellet
    85 * 1.592 = 141.51
The calculated value here is actually lower than what you observed so it may be that your non-buffed damage range is a bit higher than you thought.

The Rubico seems to get the full buff because it only fires one bullet per shot. This means that for now this buff is best used with weapons that only fire a single "pellet". Things like Arca Plasmor, Fulmin, and Catchmmon are going to perform better than multi-pellet shotguns.

As I said, this may or may not be intended, but unless the Devs just suck at math, they have to know that buffing 6 pellets for 139% damage each does NOT equal a 834% overall buff. That just isn't how percentages work. It only makes a total increase of 139%. In other words, you are correct. You are NOT getting the full buff on these shotguns.

This just would not work at all. For starters, it would be a complete nightmare to code the switching and copying of abilities. Secondly, where would the fun and originality be? It wouldn’t have any at all. Thirdly, it would throw all lore out the window. Additionally, many frames’ abilities are designed in a way that they can synergise with other aspects of that frame, if you take one ability and lazily slap it onto another mismatched frame, it would strip a lot of the ability’s functionality and specially tailored mechanics. And finally, as Lazarow said, this has the potential to be game breaking, soon after release, a META combo would emerge and that is all that would be used, effectively breaking the game and eliminating any need to use another frame.

Sorry but this would have absolutely zero place in the game, objectively.

I thought so too, but then I really looked at the frames, and started thinking about combinations. By leaving out abilities that use an exalted weapon and abilities that require the base frame's passive it does alleviate a lot of that. I don't think there would be a single meta for all things, maybe a meta for certain things, but that already exists. For instance Space Scarlet Spear missions, the meta is Mesa + Limbo = guaranteed win even if those are the only two in the group. If you take four random frames the win is no longer guaranteed.

  7. I suggested that he come with no abilities of his own. Just a passive that lets him copy the abilities of other frames that you own on a per slot basis. Slot 1 abilities could only go in his 1 etc. Of course he couldn't copy abilities that require an exalted weapon or the other frame's passive. I think that could result in a lot of fun builds.

  8. There is a reason WoW was, and to some degree still is, very successful. They are always adding content that provides new gear that increases a character's power, then giving players harder content that requires that power to yet again gain more powerful gear. It's a never ending wheel of improvement and progression.

Warframe is a game of "collect all the Pokemons" and of course the weapons, pets, archwings, and cosmetics. But once you get all geared up, there is nothing to do with it. At some point people get tired of collecting things and gaining power just to replay the same content that was already trivial a long time ago, and they end up going to play something else. Warframe will continue to be successful as long as they can keep new players coming in to replace those that leave and keep the stuff to collect just interesting enough to keep as many people playing as possible. Despite all of this, WF does still have a great combat system that is over all more fun than most other games. After playing WF trying to go back and play something with very slow movement and combat like WoW is just tedious. That is it's real strong suit at this point. They just need to give players some sort of progression to keep the interest up.

Personally, I keep hoping they add a new star chart that requires a Railjack to get to. The mobs here will be all new models and types (not Grineer or Corpus) and will start at level 100 in the very first entry zone. They could add a new resource that allows players to upgrade mod slots (like we do with Railjack Grid slots) to make mods in those slots more powerful as well as adding some new mods, new weapons stronger than what we have now, etc. In other words, some progression.

  9. I honestly don't care one way or the other. it might be nice, but not necessary.

What I DO want is about a 10x boost to vacuum range in Archwing and Railjack missions AND make the floating loot icons MUCH larger to be viewable from further away. Having to hunt down tiny loot obscured by tons of debris and then having to smack your face into it to pick it up is a horrible mechanic. Of course the Avionics and RJ gear are fine, as far as the icon goes, since they get marked on the map and can already be seen from afar.

  10. Just happened again. This time a bit different so adding new details of a related but similar bug.

So I was on a Crew Ship, hacked it, shot the reactor got to the exit, saw I had 18 seconds so decided to use Zenurik Void Dash rq. Only once I was in Operator mode, it would NOT go back in. I was stuck in Operator mode when the ship exploded so ended up in space in Operator mode (evidenced by the 250 HP and single point target sight). But I was unable to move or do anything. This time I couldn't even hit the escape menu, chat, or even bring up the gear menu.

I like Railjack. I want to play it, but this is making it impossible.

  11. So this has happened to me a few times now. I board a crew ship destroy it, then leave. However on exit, the "space" (mission map) doesn't load. So I am left in one of two places. A pitch black void, or a bluish almost sky looking area. I can't move, I can't use the gear wheel to recall to the ship since it's all greyed out. Hitting Escape there is an escape menu but it is microscopic, so you can't even see the words. The only way out I can find is Alt+F4 to close the game or just sit there till the end of mission. Although, sitting there I do NOT see any loot pickups so not sure if I am getting screwed on loot.

When it happened today I had my squad mate search the map for me and he found me over 23km outside of the edge of the map. So somehow on exit from the Crew ship, I am being teleported super far away, outside of the map.

  12. Pets seem to have an AI bug where they like to stand in Fire and Electric traps on ships and die. No real animal would go stand in fire but Warframe pets do. If there are invaders on board my pet goes to fight them while standing in the traps. If I go try to repair a trap my Kavat will literally get between my Omni and the trap and stand right in the fire. Every time I have to revive him, he is always laying dead on one of these traps. This doesn't apply to non-ground based sentinel pets.

Can we please get an AI improvement to fix this? I am not asking for a super smart pet that never gets close enough to get the status effect, but for them to just sit there until they die is beyond the scope of reasoning.

You can savage the stuff you dont need, like say a vidar gun or lavan, that would free slots.

    https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/warframe-railjack-wreckage-guide/

That's my whole point. The ONLY thing I have that is salvageable is my Vidar Engines, everything else I have is Sigma 3 stuff that CANNOT be salvaged. I do not have any other "House" gear at all.

Edit: not sure why you linked that article. It doesn't even mention slots, how to free them up from Sigma trash or how to view what is taking up the PURCHASABLE slots. I understand the Wreckage slots, not the purchasable slots.

  14. So I have read a couple of threads on Railjack slots, and they all seemed to say that they were only for the Sigma stuff that you build from the Dojo and that Salvage/Wreckage items take up the 30 Wreckage slots.

So I just repaired a new Vidar Reactor and I can't claim it, because I don't have enough slots. The problem is all that I have so far is the Sigma 3 stuff and 1 Vidar Engine and I was already forced to buy new slots once already. However, I don't want to buy more slots, I want to get rid of my Sigma 3 stuff to make room, but there seems to be no way to delete/sell them. Furthermore there seems to be no way to view ALL slots to see what is and isn't taking up space.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to free up slots? Is there even a way to see what is taking up slots?

EDIT: OK I did figure out how to salvage the Sigma 3 stuff, the button is different from the Wreckage stuff for scrapping. I would still like a way to view all slots to see what is and isn't counting toward them. Like what about the rank 0 Sigma stuff like the extra guns? Do those count toward slot use?

  15. As others have said, there is no "best" warframe, but there are some particularly suited to a particular task/mission.

If you just want to run through spamming melee and make it to the end quick and safe then may I suggest a Loki modded with duration and run speed mods and use the Lesion Polearm. Just invis up, spam melee and run. I can't say this is super fun but it'll get you through.

  16. Amp is a variable buff, based on noise level in the area. So you cannot expect max effect every time. You might try having the second Octavia firing something like a Gorgon into the air nearby to create more noise and see if that helps.

  17. You have to enable dual factor authentication in your Account options from the website in order to trade.Without this you cannot see the list and others cannot see you. So this sounds like expected behavior, not a bug.
