  1. Did they change that for Intermission? I thought in season 1 you could just run the same one over and over. Would've been nice in combination with running the Hemocyte bounty this time around.

Anyway, yeah, it does say "different", and indeed just running the regular bounties once each completes that challenge.

  2. As a work-around, simply logging out and back in and then checking the radio will trigger the rank-up sequence.

I was rank 7 with 10k/10k and after exiting the game and logging back in I was rank 8 with 4k/10k.

I seem to recall I was at 6k/10k, so after doing an elite weekly I should've been rank 8 with 5k/10k. Let's hope whatever causes that gets fixed retroactively. Or I might simply be high 😉

  3. Right before 25.1.1 I was fighting the Ropalolyst and for some reason the health of one of its Synovias kept resetting to full as soon as it reached zero. This is after a few successful kills, mind you.

After 25.1.1 I've had a few more successful kills and then just now in the final phase the Ropalolyst's health kept resetting to full as soon as it reached zero. Ran out of ammo, aborted mission.

  4. If they're greyed out and have an eye icon in their top left corner then you don't actually have that relic, it's just there so you can see what's in it.

For completeness: 1-count relics have nothing in their top left corner (not even a checkmark, unlike everything else in the game), stacks of 2 and up have a number.

I'd say there is a UI bug here, but it's that preview-only relics (count of zero) should not allow you to click any of the refinement diamond buttons.

  5. Just a sanity check: have you tried Simaris' Synthesis Scanners instead of the Codex Scanners? Tried placing the Synthesis Scanners before and/or after the Codex Scanners in the gear wheel? Have you maybe run out of Synthesis Scanners (before you bought the battery widget) but there's still a slot for them in the gear wheel (yes, the game should just use the Codex Scanners in that situations, but ...). Also, just to make sure, the widgets only work on the Synthesis Scanner, they do nothing for the Codex Scanner. With the battery widget you can just sell your Codex Scanners and have the 1 Synthesis Scanner for endless scanning fun!

As a data point, I have 50 Synthesis Scanners in my gear wheel's first slot and my Helios (Prime) uses them just fine.

  6. Let's say I want to make a bunch of Meso M3 relics radiant.

I open the refinement UI (sorted by "Owned"), I go to the Meso tab, I click the M3, select radiant, click the refine button, yay, one done.

Annoyance #1: It takes me back to the "All" tab (with the Meso M3 [Radiant] relic selected) instead of staying in the Meso tab.

So I click on the Meso tab again.

Annoyance #2: The list is scrolled quite a ways down, showing me a bunch of relics I don't own, instead of being either at the top or on the Meso M3 [Radiant].

So I scroll scroll scroll back up to the M3 relic and make it radiant. Yay, two done.

The "All" tab is selected again... *sigh*

What should be a quick and easy process is instead a chore of extraneous clicks and scrolling just to upgrade 5 Meso M3 relics.

BTW, depending on what relic you refine and your sort order, sometimes the list is only scrolled down a row or two, so it's only slightly less annoying, but still annoying.

  7. This happened to me a few months ago (hacking a Bursa during Interception, missed out on a gold reward) and I believe it has been reported before. What's so annoying about this one is that the relic reward window is in front of the console hacking window, but input is still going to the console hacking window, thus preventing you from choosing a different reward. Hitting your [Esc] key will close the console hacking window and should let you interact with the relic reward window properly.

  8. This has happened before. I think that instead of trying to keep track of when you add a new room and when you've destroyed all copies of that type of room (same for decorations, e.g. Trade Post), they simply iterate over all the rooms, decorations, colors and research, and sum it all whenever some event happens (research complete, building complete, destruction complete). Completing the research on this new blueprint has triggered a fresh summation and something (old) is getting skipped. This would also explain why different clans are seeing different deficits.
