  1. So this was an idea i had after looking at the infested levels, with all those weird glowy bugs that fly around the level. Still havent thought of a name tho.

    She would have a really sleek build, and her frame would have a chitinous appearance. Her helmet would have "antennae" stuff and a mouthpiece that resembles bug mandibles. A small swarm of robot bugs fly around her.

    Her stats; still haven't got that technical, but she would be very quick but fragile, and would have shields stronger than health.

     

    ABILITIES:

    1) Unfolding wings: the small bugs arrange themselves and turn into big, insect wings on her back. These wings give her a lot of air control, wich means higher and longer jumps, strafing and knockdown control (instead of falling after being knocked down, she would hover and return to her feet immediately). Upgrading this skill would increase its duration. Energy cost:25

     

    2) Swarm: The swarm around her expands and turns aggressive, absorbing bullet damage and harming any enemy it touches. Upgrading it expands the radius of the swarm, the duration of the skill and the damage they absorb and do.

    Energy cost:50

     

    3) Host (this is my favourite one): She teleports inside an enemy, using their bodies as both armor and disguise. The body would have its own health, which drains at a continuos rate. She can do this ability while already in a body, switching from body to body to mantain herself undetected. Upgrading this would mean a smaller health drain rate and thus a longer duration. Energy cost:75

     

    4) Plague: Similar to swarm, only it doesn't act in a radius, but affects the entire level. Every room would be filled with bugs, which would just serve as the visual effect. The effect would constantly drain the health and shields of enemies (as long as they are active, eg: in the same rooms as the players), while providing a small defense bonus for players. Upgrading this would affect the duration and damage of the bugs. Energy cost:100

    This is an attempt to do an ultimate that isn't like the common radial ultimate that totally obliterates everyone.

  2. See, but tailoring all the rewards to casual players means that people who are -actually- investing time in the game are given a watered-down challenge.

    the watered-down challenge being not do the same thing over and over? even if you're a core gamer, the ammount of missions you have to do is extreme. Plus, it's an event, which basically means "rewards you can't get elsewhere" and "do it fast because time is running short".

     

    I'll later go play 5 missions to atleast get the battle pay, but this whole thing has left a bad taste in my metaphorical mouth

  3. Really, I haven't played warframe that long, but this new event is extremely taxing on casual players. I am lucky if I manage to cram three missions into my day's schedule, and now I have to do a mission 5 times to get the pay, and have to do a lot more to get the cooler stuff? And the worst part is that it taunts us with weapons I'll guess are exclusives, so it's now or never. better ignore my real life work, gotta get these rewards! This is extremely fustrating for me (and I guess I am not alone on this). It's good to reward players for playing, but it's not good to punish them for not playing enough. Perhaps doing less missions would have been better, but I guess it's too late to change now.
