  1. Besides the annoyance of knowing I'll have to log onto my Switch to use my thousands of plat that was left behind, and the one or two tennogen I'll have to re-purchase, I've little complaint. A few hours before the merge, I had done a speedrun on my 7 year old PC account to get from Vor's Prize all the way to The Sacrifice in 2 days, staying at MR 1 just for fun. I'm not sure if DE intended for an MR 1 to be able to do that, though. Then merged my Legendary 3 account as the main, and as far as I can tell, nothing went wrong! All smooth sailing. I still have all my random items, materials, relics, etc in my inventory -- and my friends list & clan stayed intact from my legendary 3 account even though my profile number changed?. I was worried about my orbiter décor because nothing had loaded ingame initially after the merger, but actually it all stayed and as far as I could tell nothing has poofed into the aether nor glitched. There's very few things missing from my pc account after merging, if any, that matters. All the Warframes, weapons, and companions I had swapped right on over including Umbra! I'm still just going to be worried about my platinum that's on my Switch, and what on earth I'm going to do with it since I was planning to be 99% playing on PC from now on, so I guess I'll have to figure that out... (Though, I know for some people having duplicate story items (i.e. Excalibur Umbra) maybe be an annoyance, but I really hope we get to keep them if we choose. Both of mine have immense sentimental value to me now, so please DE, don't take my special boys away haha)
  2. This is a bit confusing. Does this mean if I want my fashion frame to look the same on two platforms going forward I have to buy all the pieces twice or however many times? Not only that, all my platinum is now worthless too as a switch player, because I can't even use cosmetics (well, tennogen, and I LOVE tennogen!) I buy in the future on any other platform. Thanks! 😑
  3. I'm in a similar boat as you, I have my VFX as low as it can go, and even have reduced brightness with really as many extra bits turned off just to minimize risk to my own health. -- I love warframe more than any game I've ever played, but even before recent changes, for the sake of my own sanity and health, I was avoiding entire tilesets, strictly playing solo (especially when people found it funny to use weapons that would cause intense screen flashing), keeping the brightness of both the game and my monitor limited, etc etc. The community of this game is so big and fun, it felt awful when the few times I'd join pubs they'd be using some meme build and I'd have to leave so I don't get hurt by blinding light. And as excited as I am to be able to play on PC instead of Switch soon, I'm sad I'm probably not going to be able to enjoy the full breadth of the visual upgrades because I have to turn so much off out of fear. To the devs, I sincerely understand not everything in a game is made with people with photosensitivity in mind, and I know there's the whole warning of being aware of the risks in the game, but I'd give anything for the white screen flashes that bursa causes, and even the deimos time cycle, cutscene flashes, ESO, etc., to just be turn-off-able? God, even just an option to make the magnetic status effect visual to be less painful to look at would be nice. The people that want that visual and can handle it can have it, but I'd like to not be constantly tense in a mission just because I know there's a chance one specific enemy I need to watch for that could ruin my night and give me a splitting headache as a reward. Things like ESO and Vome/Vass are predictable, but doesn't make it anymore bearable. For example, for the nausea/distortion VFX in minecraft they gave an option to toggle the intensity much lower or off, making the effect into just a color overlay to indicate the effect was still happening; because it effected an actual game mechanic and wasn't just a gimmick to visually bother the player. That was incredibly helpful for me as a player at the time. These VFX shouldn't be done in an effort to disable or disturb the player beyond the realm of the game, which like the bursa flash, crosses that boundary. This is not a PVP game where there's some magical advantage to doing that for the enemy. There's a big difference to me between my warframe/operator being knocked prone unable to do anything or stunned or grabbed, and me in real life having to cover my eyes or stop playing because of a headache coming on. It ruins immersion for me. I understand WHY its done in a game design manner to some degree, but I'm sure there's a much safer option to indicate to players like me that we're in danger, or that a big change is happening, that isn't putting a barrier between enjoyment and safety. I'm glad there's regular people that this sort of issue doesn't effect but having any consideration at all towards it by both devs and players alike would be grandly appreciated, instead of constant jabs and jokes that makes the issue into something ignorable. These tiny changes would mean a lot to me and a lot of other people, and I'm sure there's regular players that wouldn't mind a toggle either.
  4. Look, as someone who did purchase the pack -and I'll admit I've purchased a lot of things, I still wish there was an option to not have the regal aya nor the platinum in the pack just to pad up the price. I'm only buying these things because I can. Yet, both of those things (aya+plat) are useless to me at this point in the game, I'd rather there be a bundle option with just cosmetics and nothing else, and I don't understand why you must force those things into packs now just for inflated monetary value even for those of us who do have the option/ability to buy high price tag bundles. It's starting to get out of even my price range these days. Even as someone who likes buying packs, Regal Aya will never be worth the price tag you guys have put upon it. The new system was genuinely upsetting to see and I'm still frustrated with it, the pricings just hurt to look at and sticking to the old pack system would have been a lot nicer for people's wallets mine included. I wouldn't be surprised if the people who normally can't afford buying packs in the first place was completely put off from buying anything prime access related because of how janky the price system is for regal aya. And, y'know, this FOMO thing will probably look bad for when people try to recommend the game, because how are we going to trust you aren't going to sneak this into more things? I understand the appeal with aya is to buy things piecemeal, but...it's not a fun purchasing process trying to get the right amount. FOMO isn't a fun bait tactic either when you guys have made it a habit to recycle / repeat events so there's no FOMO, just wait times. I just hope you guys don't follow the same paid cosmetic FOMO like other games and suddenly make it the standard, it's just not fun. It's obvious people still want to buy cosmetics, and love the work put into them, but don't do this to us. We're choosing to play warframe and buy things you produce over other games for a reason. Are you being realistic about these pricings and whats included in them anymore? This is the value of buying an entire other game (or multiple at this point) or a skin pack, prime access or regal aya. This could be someone's entire month's worth of spending money these days. Make it worth it and accessible to other people than just people like me.
  5. While helping my partner get started with lich weapons, reading off some of the names of my liches to explain theyre randomly generated, I realized most of my Lichs / Sister's names have seemingly been replaced by names other players had that I've played with or seemingly re-randomized. Now, I only say replaced as specifically in the example of Biss Egg, that Lich's actual name is Nettrut Hanor. I remember Biss Egg was the name of a lich that appeared during a mission when i was with random players, and that's the sort of name you don't forget. Then looking at the other names, and comparing it to screenshots I took months and months ago, they just don't match up. At first I thought it was just my kuva liches, but a sister I converted popped into a mission with a name very much not hers! This seems to have only occurred after one of the Duviri hotfixes / the update itself based on times of my screenshots. Though, I'm not fully sure. These are the current names that are mostly not my liches original ones! These are the weapons already in my inventory, showing the original names of these liches. Netrutt Hanor, who's name has been replaced with Biss Egg Older screenshot below. I'm a bit sentimental so I liked to take pictures of my liches when I remember to. Zys Bor is not this girls name... It's Caeda Fadia. I'm not sure if it's possible to fix this, or if it's seen as worth fixing. But it feels a little sad...
  6. I'm having a recurring issue that I only encounter while playing with my friend who is playing on PC, and I Nintendo Switch. I've done hundreds of public missions with randoms at this point with just fine stability, including open world exploration for mining and such. I'm not sure if its internet, because we're both able to do several hour long missions at a time. But, whenever I play with this friend, specifically on invite only, I keep getting booted out of the missions entirely, like not even a host migration where I'm sent to be solo in the mission, I go straight to orbiter and lose everything we just grinded for. Be it deimos vaults, survival missions, relic cracking, wandering on POE, just never get to stay in the mission after a 'host migration'. I don't really mind as an LR1 but it's still thousands of resources down the drain. Even when I play public and lose connection I usually get put right back in as host, sometimes with crossplatform people connecting back to me as the host, never back to orbiter. Is this supposed to happen for invite only??
