Wait, the Deconstruct or isn't Helius exclusive anymore? Or is it just another bug again?
All robotic weapons can be put on any robotic companion. You could put a Sweeper on Helius, if you wanted.

Anything that could be even a slight Metroid reference/nod gets a "yes, please!" from me.

oh okay. i misunderstood then
No worries.
And don't get me wrong, there are quite a few Warframe weapons that need buffs, but that's for a different topic.

we DO have the arca plasmos and the amprex so i slightly disagree
I'm talking about weapons that can only be put on Sentinels and MOAs. Not Corpus weapons that our Warframes can use.

The currently available choices for robotic companion weapons are almost all insanely weak. The only somewhat usable ones are Sweeper Prime and Artax, and even then, they pale in comparison to how much damage Kubrows and Kavats can put out.
Robotic weapons are long overdue for updates/buffs. Make them actually useful.

So Tenno are either creating Infested weapons, or ripping the weapon bits out and stabilizing them so they can carry something like the Synapse into a Relay without causing a plague outbreak, and growing a shell around something like the Crawler lightning-spitter bits so that they can hold it like a rifle. (Instead of carrying around a "tame" lightning Crawler like some kind of horrible hand puppet.)
That needs to be a Synapse skin now.

Despite the patch notes for today's update saying that Kavat armor emissives have been fixed, this still is an issue.
As before, no matter what colors I pick, the parts that should be controlled by emmissive color options still stay light blue/cyan.
-
I'm glad to see more people agreeing with this now. When I suggested this a few years ago, most just shrugged it off.
I really hope they make this change... Though I know one thread with few likes/upvotes will not get their attention.

Acrid was best secondary in ancient times, armor ignore + massive scaling DoT. It was nerfed to hell in damage rebalance.
Oh man, back when Acrid was king of secondaries, and Dual Ethers were one of, if not the, best melee weapons in the game.
So many old weapons that are just gathering dust...
-
Popping in to also add that I don't like the melee changes. The visual upgrades are nice, but that's pretty much it. Having the ability to manually block removed is/was a horrible idea, especially since there are mods that only really worked with manual blocking (Guardian Derision, being one of them).
Plus, as others have said, the removal of quick melee makes things more frustrating/annoying than they should be, especially in regards to gear items. You can no longer just smash a resource crate/deposit without unequipping any gear item you had out.
-
What I am referring to in the title is the fact that you can't equip mods on sentinel/moa weapons that are already equipped on weapons your frame is using.
This has been an issue for years, and is now even more so of one since the changes to exalted weapons/companions (you can have the same mods on both your main weapons and your exalted ones, and in Khora's case, the same mods on your animal companion and Venari, no need for duplicate mods for any of these).
Please, just remove this obsolete and contradictory restriction already...

I know they probably want to push people towards breeding, but I think having so many cosmetic factors for Kavats and Kubrows be RNG-based is bad.
I'd love to see full appearance customization for animal companions, including a better selection of colors.
-
No matter what colors I chose for the emissive color slots, the light colors on the armor stay the same default light blue/cyan.

Steel Meridian: we need to liberate the solar system from the grineer and protect the innocent.
Perrin Sequence: we need to liberate the solar system from the corpus and protect the innocent.
Are mortal enemies
Exactly. Though you could say it's due to old Corpus/Grineer tensions, but that still doesn't make much sense.
-
With all these quests and events that focus on the different syndicates, the way they work right now makes very little sense.
For example, if you have a bad reputation with Steel Meridian, and complete the current relay event, they'll still hate you, despite praising your efforts. The same goes for all the others excluding the Arbiters of Hexis (who really could use some lore).
And then there's the bit of dialogue in the current event that reveals that the syndicates are only in the relays because we, the Tenno, are willing to harbor and protect them. Which makes the whole "negative reputation" system make even less sense.
The whole "allied/opposed/enemy" system, I feel, needs to go. As it is now, many of the inter-syndicate relationships don't really make sense.
Does anyone else feel this way?

*Unless they are purely made out of energy.
Even the Silva and Aegis, the most energy-like of the melee weapons, has a physical blade. A tiny one, but a blade none the less. And the shield is largely solid, too.
The Prime variant is even more solid. In fact, it has an entire mace, instead of a mostly-flame blade.

So that last part could mean we are getting something else for the Operator? Cause I'd totally be open for another weapon or hell I'd even take an exo-skeleton to make them more durable and able to get around like a warframe.
I haven't really been following livestreams, but haven't they been talking about melee weapons for Operators for a while?

Personally, I think Rivens were a horrible idea in the first place. They're a very flawed "bandaid" fix, kinda like ability augments.
Rivens throw any semblance of balance out the window. Especially when even really good weapons can get good Rivens.
And don't even get me started on the insane RNG and grind involved in even getting a good Riven for a weapon you want.
Rivens should never be required to make weapons good.
-
Honestly, I'm of the opinion that all current melee weapons should have some physical damage. You're hitting enemies with a physical object; you can't tell me that only the elemental stuff hurts.
-
While I do think the skin looks amazing, and I don't mind it differing from the infested look of normal Nidus, I'm really worried about how its abilities will look. If they're the same as normal Nidus, it'll be very jarring.
I know it'd be a lot more work, but I really, REALLY hope they make its abilities match the skin's aesthetic.
-
Ordis, Teshin, Darvo, Maroo, or the syndicate leaders. Any of them would work fine.
-
Honestly? I wish Rivens never existed. They involve WAY too much RNG, and they make balancing impossible. You should never need a Riven to make a weapon good.

Now that I think of it, I suddenly want cross-play on warframe

Or... Are you Braken?
Yes, I know of Braken. No, I'm not him.
I've had variations of this username for over 15 years. I only learned of the artist through people asking me if I was him. lol -

maybe DE could try talking Microsoft into it, as they have kinda been pushing the whole crossplay aspect in a lot of games recently.
While Sony more than ever is showing how much it hates crossplay idea.
I think it was last week that a former Sony high rank employee said that sony doesnt like the ideia of accepting players from other plataforms who have/bought the game in another place using it on their console. And that indeed it is all about money, not due security or safety issues as they claim and use as excuse.Sony really seems to have been going downhill these last few years. It's depressing, honestly.
Robotic Weapons need serious buffs.

Rivens don't count. You shouldn't need a Riven to make a weapon usable.
In fact, I personally think Rivens should've never been added to the game, but that's for a different discussion.
