Havent seen one person that has the weapons being insulting about it, never, people just think it's a cool thing to have and that's it. But the other side is the opposite where every thread about it will definitely have people that want the weapons name calling and throwing insults.
This is a forum where people discuss aspects of the game and all sides should be heard. I'm not going to avoid writing my views because there are people insulting others. I mean, why the insults? Why is this allowed? Why do you need that in this coversation?
Wow the entitlement is rather strong there. I'd get and even support your argument if it was some exclusive CB/OB cosmetics or sigils, but game altering exclusive gear is 100% a bad thing and DE knows that. There is a reason no weapons have remained exclusive nor can be defended to be kept exclusive besides the founder weapons. Please do no treat freebie goods as if they adhere to the same standards as promised exclusive goods that people payed alot of money for.
Everything is and will always be timed exclusive if they change game play mechanics in any form. And a lato vandal in every way is significantly better than a regular lato, while a lato prime is a side grade to a lato vandal.
And once again, as someone that owns a lato vandal, and had braton vandal. I support DE's decision to reintroduce these weapons to the general public, because having these weapons as exclusive for 5 years is fine enough, and I'd love to share the fun of a pretty powerful lato to the general public.
I'd rather be inclusive to our fellow coop players rather than exclusive.

A somewhat good and bad idea rolled into one. Warframe isnt exactly built for competitive, so half of the idea is already not going to do well. And the other half about exclusive armor is also a bad idea, because DE does not have resources to dish out that kind of thing with every season.
Maybe exclusive sigils and emblems, but if there is to be armor, it should be made available to everyone that achieves X goal during any season instead.
After all, look how long it takes DE to publish anything, or fix anything. Its kind of a snail pace. Do you really expect them to be able to keep up with exclusive rewards with every season? That will turn warframe from a story driven, free to play, cooperative game, into a moba and those other competitive games that slowly go down the hole into toxicity.
Look at where lunaro went, look where conclave went, and ask your self this. Do I want this, entering the pve side of warframe? Lunaro is dead, conclave is avoided like the plague by a large amount of players. Conclave event was absolutely the worst, and DE has never done them again, probably never will. Competitive, will be the downfall of warframe.
DE should focus on what they do best, and competitive is not one of them.

As someone that owns the lato vandal and once owned the braton vandal, I applaud DE for making those weapons available for all. It isnt a badge, its a game changing item that should be available to all. NOW, if it was just a badge, a cosmetic with no factors in gameplay, THEN I would question what and why DE be doing that. If you want exclusive, get the conclave lato skin, not many people have that. Now that, is a real badge.

It was simply to show you were there from the start, one of the old folk. Something most online games do, I can log into my WoW account and ride on the og mounts no longer available. Over in that game people take pics and that' it.
I dunno why people in warframe are hostile to this concept.
As an old folk warframe player, it is a good thing DE is letting both lato and braton vandal to be available to all. It was tied to game changing mechanics and has no correlation to your example of mounts in WoW, which are just merely cosmetic, and doesn't change stats or gameplay in some form.

It's a side grade for two generic weapons, it's not the end of the world when it comes to content. And if they give something else that would be cool but so far there's never been mention of replacements.
I still find it funny that the people that want too keep these as exclusives get labeled as the ones shoving it on people's faces when it's the people that want the weapons the ones that are constantly the ones doing so.
Theory? De once gave away Prime Chamber long ago, during contests and giveaways, but stopped that because the perceived value of Primed chamber FAR OUT WEIGHED the actually reward of 1k plat. So on and so forth. If it was a mere cosmetic, that would be no problem.
Besides side grade, it also awards exp in the form of Master Rank. Another game adjusting factor. Literally content for progression locked behind a rather dumb notion of "badge"
I will even add this. I signed up for closed beta, but never actually played the game till open beta, BUT I still got a lato vandal because I was accepted and "part" of the closed beta. Someone, that never played closed beta, but was accepted got a lato vandal. DE didn't have all their planning or experience together 5 years ago.
This is a pve game, and should be open and shared as such for a cooperative game. Exclusives are tied to sigils, emblems, and cosmetics, and rightfully so. It should never be tied to game adjusting factors, that give advantages, even if its just side grades or the ability to diversify builds that others can not do so.
Be inclusive, not exclusive. We all are one as the tenno, following lotus, protecting the solar system. Working together.

Over the weekend, I crafted two amps, and gilded one.
My problem currently is the gilded amp does not count as gilded, despite letting me color it, yet I did not get any stat buffs that comes with gilding nor can I 'entitle' it which requires a gilded amp.
Am I the only one that ran into this bug?

Just noticed another post about this, apparently
coresshards are flying way above skywing range. This was shards, not cores. But they suggested that if you had Itzal you could draw the loot in - may work with the cores too?Unfortunately, the range is just too far for the itzal to grab, and when you try to get close, you auto remove the archwing. so it makes it impossible to try and grab it with the itzal..
Also yes, all cores are visible with loot detector or animal instinct.

Shards were already collected. At the time. Thought everything was fixed. But I was wrong. The cores that dropped were trapped under the door mat.
Next run in 100 minutes I can show the floating shards. Looks nice, like a present waiting to be picked up on the way inside.

The recent hotfix has made shards now spawn properly at floor level, and can be picked up at the doorway. BUT the sentient cores that drop DO NOT appear at ground level and are instead trapped under the door way like shards were. In this picture you can see with loot detector that the objects in question, the cores, are not visible but should be in front of me. The cores are below the doorway entrance and this needs to be fixed quickly.

Fixed 1/2 a problem. The shards no long spawn under the doors. BUT the cores still do. Please fix asap.

When capturing the eidolon, there seems to be a fail safe that causes the drops to instantly warp to the great doors. Also seems the drops will most of the time fall under the map too. especially on a slightly uneven so sloped surface.
BUT there is a terrible bug that occurs. They spawn UNDER the door. Preventing anyone from grabbing them upon leaving the plains.
Please fix this asap. It breaks the game for capturing eidolons for many many MANY people.

Yeah, unless you use split chamber too, that riven is a 1/4 chance of no round being fired. Basically it will shoot blanks.

Perhaps a system or NPC that is like teshin, minus the conclave. Cause let us be honest here. As nice as conclave is, it is defiantly not a good system for beginners to learn, or hone their PVE skills.
I mentor and 'sensei' system, similar to the guides of the lotus would be much more beneficial, for end game players with time, and beginners that need guidance through the tough high end learning curve beginners get.

Since nothing is being done about the energy drain when combined with nekros, I propose this then.
When Oberon prime is released, EVERYONE start playing as nekros and use the shadows at all times. This will drain any oberon prime that tries to use their powers, thus, increase the complaints due to a trolling exploit.
THEN and only then can we hope DE will do something about this.
(then again, they have done nothing about stasis limbo, and he can be trolled too)

I agree, prime accessories should not be added in those ways. Just buy them when they get rereleased from past packs in the near future.

I don't think saying you will buy the frame proves a point. Would have been best to leave that out.
From the looks of things, they plan to do the same thing they did with saryn and ash, fix the minor stuff, but never POLISH everything, so it feels like an actual good thing, like the newer frames are getting.
These reworks are half..... yeah, and same goes with snipers and other things. Either do it right in the first place, or expect to have to redo it again in the future, or abandon it all together.

Just got zenith and used it.
So many problems I will list later on.
For now, here is a fix to think on. Why not just keep the zenith as full auto, and when the disk is used, anything highlighted by the disk takes additional damage AND the zenith bullets gain massive amounts of punch through. All while keeping it at auto because semi auto makes the zenith a sniper, and it don't get any sniper bonus of buffs so that is worthless.
For a day 500 login it underwhelms so much it drops the incentive to get to the day 500 login other than mastery fodder.

My use of telos was to break containers in a 360 degree radius. Something the atterax just can't fulfill all the way.

Sheesh, telos boltace been hit hard. Could have at LEAST left the ability to break containers, but nope. That was taken away too.
And the current rework seems broken. Does not scale with primed reach anymore.
Just give the telos boltace a switch function, between choosing to vacuum enemies or blow them away, WITH a cool down function between uses not exceeding 4 seconds. This is a fast paced game and things that take too long tend to get sidelined, like snipers.

Yeah, looks about correct.
Tubemen of regor is looking like the most loved and least hated event in warframe. And this includes the fact that he was also released with equinox, which is still the grindiest warframe to get due to being in 8 pieces.
Please take note of this DE. Do more like tubemen of regor, or bring him back.

NOW, can something be done about the 10% reward system. That is a recipe for disaster. This will cause extortions and entry fees for those new players that want to get an ignis wraith bp, as well as there is no system in place that allows other members of other clans, now and future, to acquire their own bp without leaving or refusing to create their own clan and simply find one of the top 10% clans.
Atm, this will turn ignis wraith into the new primed chamber, and with such status, will come abuse such as extortions, or worse, division between old 10% clans and new future clans from new players.
This seems like a way to force and funnel people into clans, rather than allow an open system that welcomes old and new players alike.

Pretty much mirrors what has been going on for the past 4 months. These exclusive conclave tactical alerts, and now this divisive event that only caters to the hard core whales.
This is not how you bring together a community. I thought DE learned back with primed chamber and other bad events, but I guess they are willing to kill the spirit of warframe for what ever god awful reason they have this time.
As I said before, if they go ban happy in the upcoming devstream, DE is done for.

1. At least everything in clans are all equally accessible. 10% bp distribution kills it and creates a vacuum between the ones that have and the ones that have not.

It will become hard to ignore them when they have something only 10% of clans have, and as far as we know, will not be redistributed to other clans at all. Scummy, just became super scummy and unfortunately relevant now.
3. So, tell me, how will those that failed to acquire an igneous wraith of their own will get one after the event? They would have to leave their clan and join the 10% that has one. Which again, is not uniting, but dividing clans.

That is a horrible comparison. If it was a cosmetic, then yeah, DE is doing wierd stuff. But since its game altering equipment, whether it be by exp or stats, that is a horrible way to go. You agreed to the EULA, and anything can and will happen. Sadly, just deal with it.
They said the same thing about every timed exclusive, from the cosmetics in prime access, to event limited rewards from 4-5 years ago. BUT all of those have returned, and rightfully so. The only thing that can be defended, is the founders program, because that has actual money tied to it. Everything else, as you have agreed to the EULA, can and WILL be subject to change. No "promises" can hold anything to accord. Unless actual money was tied to those things.
Face it, lato vandal, and braton vandal are freely and allowed to return. With or without compensation, and as an owner to both, I agree to that statement.
