After further investigation it appears that this is fixed on PS5 but not PS4. Back to the drawing board!

No, no it is not. Im on PS5 and this remains unfixed. Nice try, @[DE]Megan

Edit: I've restarted, power cycled the console, and even a full reinstall. Nothing I've done will grant him his full glorious vials. Sad day, and I was so happy to read about this update! Even without the Galvanized fixes.

He's not essential, Ivara stil deals massive damage and i did a 4x3/5x3 (not sure) with an Oberon dps a few days ago.

I'm a bit confused here. my link is to update 25.7.6, are you saying that if you use that link it will redirect you to update 26.0.6? if that's the case i don't how to fix it. Is working fine for me and there's no additional information in there anyway, taiiat already shared a link to update 26.0.6 and quoted the fix, i just wanted to clarify that eidolons becoming stronger is a fix released with update 25.7.6 and if you look in the fixes section you'll find the same statement but seems you are not aware of our situation. I'll try to explain it better.

As i stated before, we did NOT get update 25.7.6, and that's why you had no problems with eidolons til now. DE delayed update 25.7.6 (for consoles) and released it at the same time with 26.0.6, so we got gauss' buffs, arbitrations revisited and eidolons fix at the same time that grendel and lich system.

It's okay. You did just fine. I was navigating from my phone, so it was messing up. I appreciate the information. Thank you all for helping me to figure this out. Good luck out there, Tenno.

Well, someone already posted it but, for the sake of extra information here is when the fix got released on PC

As you probably already know, this update got delayed on consoles and came with TOB including the fix.

he's right, is still quite easy, instead of 1 shot now i need 2 usually as chroma, i probably just need to go over 300% PS for consistent 1 shot again, Ivara tho... she does nothing to waterlimb and i'm still trying to figure out how to overcome it.

Anyway if you stil have problems with chroma hit me up in-game and see if i can help with that.

I appreciate the offer, but I'm sure I can do it. I just didnt know Chroma was essential now. Now, I apologize i didn't see the source showing what you have now provided. I see a link to update 26.0.6, not 25.7.6. If theres additional information on that one too, could you please show me where? I've been easily killing Eidolons past the date of the release of this update. PS4 is currently on update 26.0.6, and theres nothing in the notes to support that this change in the source wasn't being enforced prior to update 26.0.6, nor is there notes stating that it would begin to be enforced after the same update. I'll admit that I haven't read all of the update notes, but are we just assuming, or do we have a source for the second part of the statement where it wasn't working with the update (25.7.6) on PS4 and is now (26.0.6)? I hope you dont see this as me challenging you. I'm just one of those that likes to see it myself. I agree that it's pretty safe to assume that this is what's happening, but I like to be certain.

I remember a time really not that long ago when i couldnt do F-all to an Eidolon, let alone capture or kill one. Getting to the point where i could solo was a mark of pride that took WORK and time. So I'm not some baby framer who shouldn't have been doing this in the first place. I've put time into my methods, my frames, and my operator. I embraced the grind and kept to it 🙂 in the Dark Souls community, we call this the Git Gud method ha! I haven't been playing for as long as some of my friends, but I've come very far in a short time. Now I feel like it was all a lie! On the flip side, I'm happy because now I can use my Chroma that I've put all this extra work into (for what seemed like no reason because you didnt need him before for cracking limbs).  Thanks for reading the rant, and for all the answers so far. I'll keep checking this thread for replies. If anyone needs a Chroma, HMU!

This is not a bug, is actually a fix, eidolons being weaker before TOB was the real bug that stayed on consoles for months.

    Sauce?

Sorry I've been a bit inactive. That's life fir ya. Glad I'm not alone, but if anyone has some sources for their answers, that would be very helpful.  So far, I've found no official answers.  I have a friend who plays PC and he's telling me that it's not as hard as I've described above.

Rubico rivens got nerfed two times before the old blood update. Now it's better to put on another damage mod instead of a riven, becase it's the lowest dispo, just takes place in the mods.
You should be able to 1-2 shot a limb if you remove the riven and put on a normal mod in.

The riven is adding more than a 90% mod would be able to. Im not trying to discount your opinion. Lotus knows I stil have a great deal to learn about the game, but I'm very confident in my build, even went to simulacrum to double check. Even though it's a disposition 1, it's still better, if only just, and it's a God roll at that (at least to me it is).

How many times you tested it? Could it be that 3 guys have CD up and depleted eidolon's alloy armor.

I dont believe so... only 3 of us with no coaction would be 90%. The health bar wasnt red, so it still had armor.

Only tested twice now, not including the initial run when I noticed the change. I am getting on now though, and I'm going to run some public eidolons to see if it's just the conditions i was in. I'm not sure, and i dont feel like testing anymore... i just wanna play and have fun lol. But if I get any new data, I'll share it. Also, if anyone else notices that this has become harder for them, please let me know.

    your harrow might ve sucked

No harrow, this was solo. Terry isn't hard at all, so I usually breeze through him super quick depending on a few things. On this run, everything went well except the damage.

EDIT: To clarify, the first time this was done, it was in a group. We had 3 CP and one dead eye. it wasnt the best organized group, so no harrow, but with practically no armor, I should have been doing more than I was. I then did a test run solo with just Terry, and I was still emptying 2 full clips, which isn't usual. I'll test more tonight, and let you guys know if I can figure out what happened.

  7. First, let me say this is my very first post here, so please be gentle. I ran a Tricap today (on PS4), because I just love focus and arcanes, but when i went to shoot the synovia for the first limb, it took two full clips from my Rubico Prime. This was very surprising to me because, before the Old Blood update, I was easily breaking synovia with 1-4 shots, depending on if I have any Void Strike saved up (I also have a riven). On the final healthbar, I noticed I wasnt doing HALF of the damage I used to. I dont remember exact numbers but I think it was in the ballpark of 40k, now it's not even a tenth of that. It's to the point that now the eidolon is consistently tethering to the vombalyst after shields have broke because I can no longer break synovia fast enough. I had Harry tether 3 times on his final healthbar and almost ran out of ammo before capping him!

Now, please dont mistake this for a complaint, I'm all for increasing the difficulty on these things if that's what DE wants to do, I'll adapt, but I dont see anything in the updates to suggest that this was done (CP is still supposed to work on the Eidolons and so forth). If I missed something, please let me know.

Things that could have influenced the results of this are:

Before the update I had a riven with +CC, +Cold, +Status chance, and -DMG to infested. After the update but before the first hunt, I rerolled my riven and gladly took a roll with better +CC, +MS, +Electricity, and -Statis duration. I looked at my rubico stats, and they seem to be normal (no nerf on the update). The riven seems to be better than the previous one, so I feel I should be doing BETTER rather than worse.

Any help to assist would be greatly appreciated. If this is a bug, then I will bring it to the attention of the developers. If it's me messing up with something, I cant see what it is. If you have any questions on builds or playstyles I used, please let me know and I'll provide asap. Thanks, Tenno.
