Yeah, and from what i can remember the only untradable plat is gotten from account creation (the 50 you get at the start) as they dont want people just making alt accounts getting them to 2 trading it and killing the account. Soooo go for like something that's more than that and you should be good 👍

Plat given away on Twitch streams and at Tennocon is also untradeable.

As I understand it, the general policy is that if it wasn't somehow paid for with real money at some point, it's untradeable.

  2. Salacia (or Steel Path AW mobile defence on Earth, for much easier to navigate map with about the same XP/run) is still my fav method, but if you categorically don't want that, and/or want to level mechs, there's Veil survival.

NO affinity range,. mechs allowed, so if you have one you don't need to gravmag the gun AND you can forma the mech at the same time, highest lvls this side of Steel Path.

The only downside is no individual extraction like in ground survival.

It always puzzled me everyone spending so much time crafting their max invis builds on different frames when Wukong can just press 2 and fly undetected even through the damaging lasers. Invis abilities instead only let you go through detection lasers and enemies.

During sorties i see them sneaking about and i just "whoop-oop" (that's the sound the 2 makes) and boom i'm at the console.

I use Wukong for everything except spy.

Wukong is neat, until his cloud goes "poof" right in front of a regulator. Or he gets snagged on doors b/c of lag... Or... Basically, he requires your undivided attention and the things can go wrong anyway.

Infiltrator Ivara is much slower, but she's WAY more reliable and chill.

  4. OK, sorry if it's one of the impossible ones:

    Good Night from Bofuri.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92SIWFL7WBo

Verse (from the 0:08 on) is probably the most recognizable part. Alternatively, the intro of the instrumental version:

    but really, whatever works best.

ADD: Good fan cover with sheet music in the description if it's any help:

the hildryn energy consumption needs a tweak

since RJ ability costs go up after they are used, they eventually have to come down, and they do get a reduction over time back to their original value

problem is, the value/s for that reduction seems to either be a flat one or it's made into a smaller % for when hildryn is using RJ abilities as it takes *considerably* longer for RJ ability costs to back to their normal values after hildryn(who gets 10x costs in the form of her shields) uses them

tl;dr it takes considerably longer for a 3000 cost to go back down to 1500 than it does for 300 to go back down to 150 and it doesnt feel very good

i imagine this is partially intended(since shields regen automatically) but i hope this gets a look cause it feels very bad atm, any concerns about "infinite energy" dont have a lot of ground since we can already get infinite energy(pizzas, dispensary, garuda's 3)

Hildryn does have an advantage of being "just" a t5 OW rep grind and a giant boss grind (or a single plat purchase.)

You need Protea (and Simaris grind if you want to keep her)  T3 Entrati to buy Helminth, and I forgot which resources to build him, then you need to feed him Protea, and you need several mods (making the recipient frame potentially weaker.)

Pizzas are a huge resource sink.

Garuda, well, you just need bounties and toroids... But I never played her, so no real idea how she compares to Hildryn.

  6. The worst part about this is how new matchmaking and warframe energy interact: You can bring your main warframe solo, what you do solo is between you and Cy, and if all else fails, 3 AI crewmates can adequately deal with fighters all on their own. But in team you don't want to disappoint your teammates and you have no idea if you will be the pilot, so, you if you can, you want to bring some kind of energizer bunny build that can nuke the fighters faster than you can say "Gian Point." That such builds are possible is not necessarily bad, but not when literally everyone who can get an energizer bunny build would bring that to railjack, on a mere chance they're the host this time, whether they like the frame in ground content or not.

I understand the random matchmaking, I actually approve -- Railjack needs more people hosting (because without them it doesn't matter how many people are mashing that "join" button) but this perceived dependence on specific warframe builds, and expensive ones at that, undermines this whole goal.

Another thing that really annoys me, and I have no idea where it fits is those floating caps in forge. Saying there's 2/2 dome when in fact you can increase the limit by repeatedly forging (and that you can with revo, but but you can't with the ordnance, it works exactly as before in 29.10.2) is just confusing and the whole mechanics for dome and revolite floating caps isn't explained anywhere. Removing the misleading full bars and "100/100"s from the payloads you can actually craft more of and replacing them with some kind of visible at a glance, without mouse hover, way to tell you'll get more if you forge would really help.

  7. Did a few solo missions...

    1) IDK if it's the double login bug or even the same code as Twitch drops, but I didn.t receive my early adopters package even after a re-login then just randomly got it after returning from the dojo.

    2) Number of occupied/free wreckage slots... Are we capped at 20 restored wreckages or is it just a display issue?

    3) Warframe energy... Yes, Hyldrin is as OP and Wukong as useless at piloting as I thought.  Seriously, what was wrong with flux?

Corpus proximas look undeniably cool though, and are generally fun, at least the one I tried.

  8. Worked fine, but very slow here on PC. I was 15 minutes or so late and unlinked/relinked during the stream, watched the entire thing, waited 15 min, logged in, did some stuff, did the gift alert (so, 10 minutes exactly) and only then received the drop, that's about half an hour/ 40 mins wait... Not the end of the world, but just something ppl may want to know.

  9. Thanks everyone.

So, to sum it up, the stuff I already have (Amesha, Imp Vandal, 1 MK 3 apoc and 1 cryophon) should work, at least for now, I never really liked cryophon though, so I'll replace it anyway, railjack build for tankiness+base speed+avionic cap is still OK, and, judging by no one saying anything about frames, whatever is best at dealing with boarders should work too.

  10. Played it quite a bit when it was released, but  didn't play WF much post revisit patch, so although I know everyone has shield gates now, there's some kind of gear fusion and cryophons were nerfed, I have no idea what frames/wings/guns are best for the AW component and what RJ parts are keepers and what can be safely recycled. (Also whether or not any of that is actually important, or did they successfully tone difficulty down from the "full meta gear or you're insta-dead" days.)

  11. Sometimes there are special game modes open on certain nodes (syndicate, sortie, *spoiler*, nightmare, etc.) The game still shows you groups playing those special modes as "open squads" even when these modes are still hidden from you, and you can't actually join.

  12. Serration...  I know it's most likely just my bad luck, but I swear there's some anti-newbie code in there somewhere. It took me more than two weeks to actually see a drop, but after that I actually got half a dozen of them from the same mobs on the same maps in the same time.

And yes, it's actually not that rare, so asking your clan or friends if they can spare one shouldn't be a big deal.

Also, yes, PoE... I have a bit of a bias here, but those level ranges are a lie. You can do well against level 20 starchart, but level 15 PoE bounty would still be very difficult.  Just add 10-15 to the level you see in there to get a more realistic idea about the difficulty.  That said, open zones are the best, and sometimes the only source for certain good stuff... Unfortunately. (Especially since for me the gameplay is like "Ah, yes, yes I got it FINALLY!!!... Now, quick back to the gate, before it crashes..." DING! Warframe has crashed. But that's my PC issues, not WF issue really, at this point.)

  13. I don't think buffing them would be popular, but it would made sense. Story-wise they're that nigh-unstoppable technozombie plague, with (spoiler) just a weaker form of it. Game-structure wise, we have dark sectors, the final planet in star chart is infested -- they're clearly meant to be if not the strongest, then at least as challenging as Grineer/Corpus.  Which is nothing like they're in game now.

ADD: And in the first 3/4 of the starchart they are actually quite challenging with toxic clouds and fast melee attackers... It's mid-to endgame, with better build possibilities opened up where they start to look weak.

How is the current release working? i am finally moving to a place with a stable internet connection after 2+ years of being off!

GloriousEgroll's custom Proton build seems to be the best option. There are still some audio-related crashes, and, in my case, some crashes from the system just being an old budget PC with a vidcard slotted in, but it's stable enough to play.

Then again, there is a big renderer update sometime this year, as I understand, so who knows...

  15. There are more people who achieved MR 28 than people with any of the K-drive achievements, acc to Steam...

I personally think K-drive was, well, judged overly harshly for not being faster than AWs as a transport and for crazy way you literally grind its rank, it has its advantages and and I use it occasionally,  but... It would be crazy for DE to put any more effort than basic maintenance into it right now. Not at least until after the modular AWs (or maybe together with them, as a new unified modular vehicles update.)

I did try games with season based resets and I have to say I dont enjoy the way repackage the same content. It's gives me the same feeling warframe has given me for the... well a long time, as in knowing full well that regardless of how fast, lucky or skilled you are, in the end there'll always be a reset and you have to start over .In warframe that usually happens when new, overpowered gear is released that takes a newly introduced resource, or more, in case of PoE/Vallis/Railjack. That isn't fun as I define it. Grinding for grinds sake isn't fun - that's what I'm arguing here.

Yea, agreed. I'm somewhat sceptical of seasonal resets for that same reason. More freeform alting is (for me) fun, but you need a core game that is both strongly class-based and encourages a lot of build diversity within class to make that work.

Old City Of Heroes [RIP, and yes I know about SCORE and Homecoming]  did that nearly perfectly, there was a dozen of classes and most of them played quite differently depending on your power trees; Willpower/Superstrength tank was more of a traditional tank, but Shield/Electricity tank actually relied on teleport nuke AOEs and was (pre-nerf) out-DPSing actual DPS and even post-nerf did some impressive spike damage as well as tanking, support classes had completely different roles depending on their exact powersets and picks within them, and there was a ton of fashion stuff. Character slots were selling quite well. 😉 All within the framework of something that was well, a superhero skin on a quite traditional pre-WoW MMO...

Add: The reason you wanted all that was that, well, although the game wasn't ever actually difficult, you still felt like all those things did make a tangible difference, especially in team content. So, having an alt that, say, could bring a specific buff to a team, or tank (and do either in a fun to you way) was a great incentive, as well as just plain curiosity about how all that stuff worked.
