  1. I recently finished farming for a Hespar component in the Zariman tileset's Void Armageddon mission. The concept of using a resource to build defenses is neat, and the mission is actually a pretty solid way to get Voidplume Quills for many crafting recipes since the Ravenous Void Angels always drop one. However, the mission has very significant flaws that make it boring to play and very unpopular among the playerbase. Each round takes a very long time to finish as you have to run back and forth between the Exodampers to defend them 3 times before the Void Angel appears, which by itself can take quite long to defeat depending on the player's preparation. You can't just ignore the Exodampers either - doing so will make the enemies stronger as they destroy them and prepare for an assault on the Reliquary Drive. The whole experience becomes a drag - even with a dedicated nuke frame like Mesa, the rounds take longer than even Mirror Defense, and for reference people already dislike the farm for Citrine even with the pity system. What about the rewards then? There has to be something worthwhile in the rotations for something that takes so long to finish, right? ...Right? Nope, just forget it. Almost none of the rewards are worth your time. Rotation A is just credits, endo, void relics... or one Voidgel Orb. Yeah... one. Rotation B isn't much better either, looking just about the same except you can instead get one Entrati Lanthorn. The only worthwhile reward is Hespar's blade blueprint in Rotation C - the chance of actually obtaining it is merely 10%, which can make the grind take hours if you get unlucky and have your drops get bloated by regular focus lenses. Once you do finally get it, you leave and never touch the mission again. That says a lot. The tedious grind is also reflected in the trading market prices for Hespar's components - the handle is quite common and cheap as it becomes a byproduct from people farming Void Cascade's plentiful Thrax spawns for Zariman Arcanes. The blade on the other hand is locked behind a terrible grind in Void Armageddon, thus fetches higher prices on the market than most Prime Warframe sets! Thank the Void the weapon only requires one blade to craft. If I hadn't made it clear by now... playing the mission just sucks. It takes really long to finish and the rewards are pitiful. With all that being said, how could this be improved? The rounds shouldn't take as long as they do - the waves per round could easily be cut down to just 2 before the Void Angel emerges. Not just that, but the reward pool could use some significant improvements, including an increase to the chance of getting the Hespar's blade blueprint which is the only reason people even touch the mission. Very simple changes, yet I believe they would go a long way in making the experience much better.
