  1. So I was playing around with Ember Prime and the Ember rework, and I realized: Her rework is the absolute ideal for reworks in warframe. Her abilities are balanced, she's got some tankiness to her so she doesn't die, she's able to both take and deal damage- while simultaneously balancing it. So I was thinking- why should it stop there? Recently I've gotten the Pasithea Skin for Nyx, and I absolutely love it! The design is amazing and it's just a wonderful, beautiful and well done skin! But there's one problem- Nyx isn't as viable in modern warframe due to her inability to take damage, or at least reduce incoming damage. Her build is entirely predicated on avoiding even taking damage in the first place, but that's not exactly possible later on in the game, between area of effect damages and things like Arbitrations, where you can't use your abilities against enemies. So as I got thinking, I figured... why not just look at Ember's rework, and mimic it! You balance both the damage taken and dealt in order to power your abilities. My favorite thing about the Ember rework is that it doesn't rely so heavily on energy. There's a requirement, yes, but it's not like you need energy to cast.

Nyx's kit is outdated, even with the 'touch up' they did awhile back, it's essentially useless compared to other frames. Her best function is the psychic bolts and their defense removal, in my opinion. Here's my take on what a good rework for Nyx would look like:

    Passive Ability:
Psychic Energy: Each enemy that dies from Nyx's abilities returns some energy to her. She expended her psychic power to manipulate their minds, and that energy returns to her in the form of a projectile after the enemy dies. Either it automatically seeks her out, or she has to go and collect it again in the form of a small projectile orbiting their corpse/death point.

    First Ability:
Psych Ward: Much like Mind Control, Nyx can cast this on an enemy and charge them up with damage, except now you recast the ability on the target to detonate them. That's a good function by itself, but it could be improved. If she casts Psych Ward on allies, they receive a damage reduction buff based on how many enemies are affected by Nyx's abilities within a certain range. If Nyx casts this without a target or perhaps with a charge cast, the damage reduction buff applies to her. (And maybe allies around her, in a short range)

    Second Ability:
Obsessions/Psychic Bolts: This ability functions much like Psychic Bolts, where it strips enemy defenses. The primary change though, is that the projectile number increases based on ability range modifiers. Other changes might include that the ability naturally stuns enemies, or maybe they force enemies to fixate on Nyx's absorb, allowing her to charge up her absorb's damage easier. This should be able to be cast during Absorb. The marked targets also become priority targets for enemies affected by Chaos.

    Third Ability:
Disillusion/Chaos: Much like how chaos functions now, enemies are thrown into disarray and attack each other. However, allies and objectives are no longer noticed, allowing them to move about unnoticed in the chaos. Enemies should be stunned both at the start and end of the ability's duration.

    Fourth Ability:
Absorb: This ability used to be one of the major metas in Warframe, way back when Ember Prime was still farmed at the Orokin Derelict Defense- along with experience farming taking place there. I believe it's still a good ability, but it gets boring, waiting for enemies to come and attack you, charge up your damage- if only for a negligible amount in the end. The sad truth is that the damage that absorb puts out compared to what it receives isn't enough, in my experience- solely because what ally stops attacking enemies to help charge absorb? And enemies don't even attack it, either. The Singularity Augment only somewhat fixes this. Nyx should be able to do what Hydroid can in his puddle- draw enemies in. Aiming and "shooting" at enemies should increase her threat level, forcing them to come and attack her absorb to charge its damage, or they could just allow us to cast in absorb. One of the worst parts about absorb is how boring it gets, being unable to do anything in it but sit and wait.

Nyx is a good warframe concept, but poorly outdated in modern warframe's power creep. Having a Nyx that can do more than just slow down enemy flow without guaranteeing reduced attacks on allies/objectives... makes her feel powerless. If she were able to direct enemies, even with loose commands such as attracting them to absorb or telling them to attack each other and clump up, I feel like she'd be much more viable and less of a pain to her teammates. She should work with her team and with herself.

And what OP described for both the first and second skill are "make target not attack me." Notice how its the same thing? And yes, making a few targets fight for you is exactly like Nyx, and Oberon, and augmented Loki, or any Warframe with radiation on their weapon. Many Warframes have similar skills, a little overlap is going to happen. What they typically have though are skills that do different things. Two skills that make a target not attack and simply ignore you is not different things.

What I intended with the first and second skills are a sort of ranged stealth, rather than "don't attack me" thing. So you have an AoE Stealth mechanism, allowing for allies to keep going undetected while not having to wait ages for the enemies to stop looking for you and just go back to being oblivious.

But I do like how the second ability works though. Instead of it being an energy drain aura it could be a projectile AOE for those who are behind cover to forget why they are neglecting their patrols.

What was I talking about? Who am I? Did I say something?

    What was I talking about?

I was thinking making it kinda like a stream of void energy like how Oberon's Hallowed Ground works? So it like streams outwards and anyone who touches it gets zapped with the ability

I really do like the theme and concept of this frame, but I think you may need to rebalance some of the abilities, as they either seem like they have too much of a downside for the good they do, or have pretty large energy costs. Regardless, I think you have a good idea here!

Yeah, I kinda felt they were a bit too counter-balanced (they were originally way more OP in my head, but my friend told me to balance it XD) and this is my first concept, so I'm not entirely sure what the costs would look like ideally. Also, I was hoping they might make their weapon of choice either a single or dual Tessen.

  5. While I was playing in the void as Ivara, I considered how interesting it'd be to have the ability to wipe your enemy's memories so they could not remember that they were looking for you. As such, I considered a new warframe concept: A Memory based warframe.

    Mimir: The Memory Warframe

They'd have a mask-like face with a serene face on it, but when they use their abilities it splits open and reveals an angry and hideous face. They'd be somewhat peacock-themed, with a large peacock tail, when they used abilities, it would also sprout up and the eyes on it would glow. His alternate helmet would be called "Mnemosyne".

First Ability: Lethe - A stream from the void bursts forth, drowning all of the enemies in their forgetfulness.

Energy Cost: 5 energy per enemy,

    Damage: 50 damage

    Stun Duration: 5 seconds

Description: Any enemies hit are no longer alert to Mimir's presence, but the effect is cancelled when an unaffected enemy reminds them of what they were searching for.

Second Ability: Armistice - Mimir reaches into the minds of any who look at him and makes them forget what they fought for.

    Energy Cost: 6/s

    Duration: 30 seconds

Description: Enemies no longer attack, simply wandering around. However, when an enemy is attacked, they then remember that they were fighting the player.

Third Ability: Mimicry - Mimir commits an attack to memory, saving it for later. Once activated again, he releases the attack on the enemies before him.

Energy Cost: 50 energy to activate, 2/s while stored, Upon release each enemy attacked drains 5 energy.

Damage Scale: The damage of the attack decreases the longer it is stored, starting at 400% damage, ending up at 40% damage.

Description: The ability must be activated when the attack has reached 3 meters of the player, and there is a 1,000 damage threshold for the attack. If the attack received does higher damage than this, Mimir's ability will be cancelled and he will experience backlash equal to 1.5x the original attack received.

Fourth Ability: Recall - Mimir focuses on remembering events to his memory, and turns back time when activated.

Energy Cost: 4/s to record, 25 to activate.

Description: Mimir turns back time to a time when allies and objectives had the most health, returning the states of allies and objectives to that point and giving them a small amount of weakness, which stacks with the amount of times the ability is used, and the energy is also returned to the previous state.

Passive Ability: When making eye contact with an enemy, Mimir gazes into their soul and erases all their memories, replacing them with memories of his benevolence. The enemy must make eye contact for 3 full seconds before the passive takes effect. Additionally, when Mimir looks at an enemy, they are compelled to meet his gaze. Should the process be interrupted, the target will be stunned for what would have been the original time, still staring at Mimir.

Let me know what you guys think, all her abilities are a bit difficult to use and somewhat unconventional, but I tried to fit them best to a well rounded memory themed warframe. Don't hesitate to give me any suggestions for changes!

  6. My friend bought me Chroma and the Drac Helmet came with it, but 12 hours later the Drac Helmet disappeared from my inventory, even though they bought it for me... Can I please get it back?

  7. Ok this is true to some extent. When you use MT, it adds one more drone, and when they explode then it adds explosion dmg. However, when this is used (I think only when this is used, unsure about without it), then 2-3 of the drones just sit like butter on a bun while the other 6-7 fly around with you. I don't know if this is just a common glitch but it's still annoying.

  8. Did they turn this off again?  Pressing Esc in front of the incubator doesn't seem to do anything.

same thing is happening to me :/ i walk up and hit esc and the esc menu opens, and if i open the incubator ui then hit esc nothing happens

  9. I have to add on, I had intended this as just a simple idea, But also because there havent been many Pet or mount ideas lately,  and the zanuka could be an old run down model that we fix up one that doesnt use old tenno parts. Idk but it was just a small suggestion :D

you also forget about the planet surfaces, where moving fast would be useful. On excavation missions on earth and Europa it would be extremely nice to have an accelerated mode of transportation aside from having to use mods and abilities to move fast. I enjoy this game a lot but it would certainly be fun with a little more ambiance such as emoticons and players being able to like sit down or lay down in a mission or the dojo because they just wanna hang out with their friends. Ambiance would be nice in warframe, as well as small details. But I personally think this game is one of the best games out there. it can use a little work in the long run of things but it appeals to most gamer pros and cons.

  10. So i was inspired by an item i saw online, this is said item. I had an idea that we could like kidnap and train a Zanuka Hunter or something to ride it into battle. Maybe we could also get a saddle or mount for a Kubrow or something. Just a small recommendation :Dwarframe___i_m_on_a_zanuka_by_redskittle

  11. Scramblers needa be like an attachment we should be able to color our kubrow however we want to as well as changing fur pattern. If not then there should be like a dying machine so we can.

  12. When is the next hotfix? tomorrow? I really really really really really need to fix my kubrow's loyalty... It still is irresponsive. It only goes down and its at -20% and she hates me and i really want to fix this please hurry with the kubrow.

  13. My poor kubrow has died twice and the loyalty is not increasing at all when I interact with her. Please fix this it really makes me sad to see that she cowers when i approach. Also, fix this because people are being called terrible owners when they can't keep their Kubrow at max loyalty. I am really sad right now.

  14. I think it is kind of annoying how it takes more than 3 days to raise a Kubrow fully, and if you rush even then it will take time. There should be a shortened growth time or a serum to grow them immediately or over the course of an hour but the fact that it takes longer than it would to acquire a Warframe to raise these guys is ridiculous. These little guys should grow up faster or we should be able to rush them with platinum. With the rushing system, you'll get more business with people fumbling over themselves to pay you to rush a cute cuddly murderer.
