  1. This is an ancient topic in the Warframe timeline, and I'm sorry to bring it up once more, but it bothers me that end-game Warframe is a more hollow experience than the early to mid game was. I could have been a nuker. I have roughly 300 weapons, a riven for half of them, and 75% of them are fully modded. I have all the mods in the game fully upgraded. This is not to brag, because there are many of us in this decade old game, but I wanna make it clear that I do not write this post from a point of envy. I want the squad experience to return. I'm a off-meta type of guy, and today I will typically play most stuff solo and experiment with different loadouts and playstyles. I tried to play the new netracell missions with other people, but while they were nuking stuff with their Torids and other incarnons I found no incentive to actively participate. We have too much individual power. Everyone knows this. All it takes for three people in the squad to be bored is that one guy who runs the most meta setup possible. Another problem: players are always doing their own thing. It seems to me that the way everyone is running around nuking stuff on their own, is the most efficient crowd control, and I mean that in a negative way. This way, spawns will be split and each player will only face a few enemies. That's why high level survival missions are a lot more fun if the squad holds one room together. I wish for nerfs and I wish for harder missions that require teamplay in some other shape or form, if nothing else, by requiring the squad to stick together for periods of time, allowing the enemies to actually form a horde. For this I'm sorry, I know you enjoy your power fantasy, but I ask you if it truly is a rewarding experience, always chasing that next high, potentially never finding it since nothing can match the gun you're using 95% of the time? Maybe players would have been less tied to their power fantasy if getting rewards and loot wasn't completely dependent on mission success? I don't know. For the time being, I stick to playing solo with my weird guns. I enjoy the game a lot, it's not that, but there is untapped potential in it still. All it requries is that we change our mindset. Merry christmas.
  2. Would love to see some balancing effort to the focus schools, especially naramon, like you say, but I think they should touch the core stats rather than provide buffs than can go to infinity and beyond. I am one of the players that are unhappy with getting stronger, believe it or not. Instead of introducing more power I wish the game looked into creating systems that incentivize cooperation, but I do understand that power creep is one hell of a drug for most of the playerbase and is what keeps them chasing and thus what makes DE money. I'll stick to my non-meta guns and find my enjoyment in variety rather than in power. Another simple solution would be an expanded focus shop, but why are we more troubled by getting focus points than we would have been if focus points had been completely out of the picture once we had bought all items from the represent shop? I simply ignore focus and it's honestly something I enjoy as a veteran, being able to not care about certain things anymore.
  3. For me, a golden rule of Warframe is to never farm for just one thing. If nothing else, I bring an item or two that I can level up into the mission, and at this point I have golden instinct on a config for all my 10-12 favorite frames, which I use in casual runs (everything but endless SP and archon hunts) in order to always be able to track down statues and rare crates. And then there's a couple of farms which I love because they can potentially help me achieve multiple things simultaneously: - Running Xaku max range with Oxylus on Cervantes during the night. Scanning plants for Silver Grove and Helminth, opening caches for Bite (to sell), and spamming his 4 to destroy crates for ayatan stars (which I get at a lot slower rate than sculptures now). After getting enough plants I will do the run with Nekros in order to do silver grove. - Running tier 3 isolation vault using looter Ivara with subsumed petrify and high strength whenever Jugulus Rex is present (I have a loc pin in his cave which lets me know). Necramech parts for credits, matrixes for standing (although I'm just buying the sculpture from Loid at this point), and I'm always able to sell the rarest necramech mods for some plat. - Railjack in general. I'm still missing two railjack mods (these are seriously rare..), it offers a chance at getting stuff like Hemorrhage and Shedu (always sellable), it provides a lot of credits and endo (remember to scrap unwanted railjack parts), and I enjoy railjack a lot (would love some archon hunt-type of mission for RJ in the future). I'd love to hear your suggestions for similar efficient combo farming methods!
  4. For sure, I just think they made them too strong. I play the game the way I think it should be designed: I use weapons without nuking capabilities so that my frames actually have a purpose for keeping me alive or for crowd control. I could play AOE and have my frame only be there to make clearing the enemies even faster, but that doesn’t really make the individual frames’ capabilities very meaningful imo. But I digress.
  5. I don’t care for the incarnons nor do I use many AOE guns but apart from that I don’t really have any clear preferences, as my greatest enjoyment comes from always trying out new things. Regardless, I will try: Frames: 1. Garuda. 2. Hydroid. 3. Nidus. Primaries: 1. Exergis. 2. Kuva Quartakk. 3. Opticor Vandal. Secondaries: 2. Aksiomati. 3. Acbronco. 3. Kuva Brakk. Melee: 1. Redeemer. 2. Sarpa. 3. Xoris.
  6. Hi, We're a small xbox clan (actually there's just two of us), The Oniwaban, who are potentially looking to invite a few players. We have completed all research except the infamous Hema and some colors. We're only communicating through the chat, so not really a clan for socializing. Nevertheless, you must be chill, mature and respectful towards all kind of people. We are not meta slaves and do not need every run to be as quick as humanly possible. We are MR26 and MR29, but completely new players are welcome. In fact, we would prefer to be a clan for new players who want access to the research and are planning to stick with the game for a while. Whisper me in-game or message me here if you're interested!
  7. Rivens do make it possible for a player like myself, who hate running the same weapons as everyone else and who despises the incarnons, to actually use all kind of weapons in endgame content. No content is tough enough that it requires riven-modded weapons. Far from it. They are a option for min-maxers and those who want to approach the endgame with something different. You can ignore the riven system without being blocked from anything else in the game. Rivens are easily attainable. Even as someone who spends plat I have to sell or delete a lot of rivens. The randomness of rivens is enjoyable to a lot of players, me being one of them, and more importantly, from a business perspective, keeps players grinding and buying plat. Don’t underestimate how many players out there who don’t engage in the market other than as buyers. Tl;dr: A riven rework is not realistic from a business perspective nor does it align with every player’s desire.
