    On Xbox it uses your Xbox account username. I had to pay $10 to Microsoft to change it. Then Warframe picks up the new one.

    I doubt DE would confirm this since they don’t even seem to realize it. The original message is written as if they’ve never played on anything but PC.

    Yes you’re right. Long hold doesn’t work. Maybe I did just copy/paste link like you did? I missed the relic pack by just 10 or 15 minutes because sometimes it just stops or freezes so I plan to watch at least part of the earlier Spanish dev stream in order to have some “backup” minutes banked.

    I was able to see my progress on my iphone using Chrome. I think I forced it to open in a webpage by long pressing on the link (like a mouse right click) and then selecting open in browser. It was a bit annoying and not so simple. Also to have your browser “open desktop version”. The other option is to just delete the twitch app and watch via browser. That seems to work fine?

    I think you’re right. They may be experts at game development but not at handling forums like this. Hopefully they finally at least acknowledge the issue and do something about it? Maybe the entire forum structure changes? Otherwise if the longer term goal is that “everyone is cross save/play” then no one can post in any non PC related forums right? Just broken…

    I opened a case for this. I got the automated “please attach logs” reply and responded that this is not an in game issue. I’ll post here if/when I get a response. In the meantime, report all bugs in the PC only forums until someone notices or at ask you not to do that and then ask “how?”.

    Just a suggestion, you may also be able to redeem via an alternate browser like Chrome (on iOS). I opened the twitch progress link using Chrome (on my phone) and I can see my progress from watching. In the iOS app however it just says it’s not available. If you use safari, however, it always automatically opens the twitch iOS app. This might be another way to bypass this issue.

    I created a support ticket saying this: ”I’m a cross save player who primarily plays on Xbox. How do I post an Xbox bug in the forum? This is no longer possible since my cross save account is treated as a “PC only account” and doesn’t allow access to anything but PC player forums.” Let’s see what they say, or if they even reply. I’m expecting a blanket bot response first with a link to “how to report a bug”.

    So correct me if I’m wrong, but if you’ve made your account cross save, even with something other than PC as your primary, you still CANNOT post in any of the non-PC forums for console bugs, etc? This is broken if so.

    +1 Yes no logout option on Xbox nor NSwitch nor iOS. I use Xbox all the time and I ALWAYS go to dashboard and force close. Yet if I go to another platform or the companion app, Warframe says I’m logged in somewhere else. So as far as I can tell there is no clean way to logout from anything except PC and the mobile companion app. So we’d all love to do this if someone tells us how.

    Yes. Seems like they’re going to have to do that anyway. Since anyone with an account can play on any platform now.

    It might be good to focus on a more specific situation to get their attention. Like “I’m an Xbox player with a merged PC account but I cannot post about an Xbox bug. How do I do this?”.

    “Intended behavior” is code for “we didn’t realize this but we’re not going to change it now”. I’ve heard it many times over the years. 😂 Edit: Another good one: “Works as designed” 😂

    Also if it was “intended behavior” that means they knew about it and should have communicated it instead of having people be unpleasantly surprised.

    That does help. Thank you! Too bad that they couldn’t “merge” names but I guess it would be a mess since you have different people with the same name on different platforms. Not sure how they would resolve that? Sounds like it probably never worked since you’re the only one I’ve heard of. Oh well.

    Good luck. The New War was tough for me too. I swear I’d spent 40 minutes or more on several of the bosses to then just to die and repeat. Read as many tips as you can. From what I remember I survived one (maybe the owl) by hiding behind trees. It’s some work but you will feel great when you finally do it.

    You should try doing radshare runs with other players. Greatly increases your chances and it’s fun. :)

    I remember this test. I’m also not very good at parkour and it drove me crazy! That video helped but I gave up and used Titania. :) You can get Titania from one of the syndicate missions (I didn’t know this until I got to this test). I agree that some of the tests can be intimidating to new players. The first time I played WF years back, I worked like crazy to get standing to get the Vaykor Heck shotgun BUT then could not get it because my MR level was not sufficient! I gave up the game in frustration. So I get it but hang in there. There are usually ways to “cheese” the test. :) Even now I’m at MR16 but probably qualify for tests to MR20 but just don’t want to deal with the frustration. However, all that said, that test will push you and make you better and it will feel awesome when you FINALLY get it! That’s what a good game is all about. :)

    Yes unfortunately you would have to start a new account. But don’t worry there’s not much that can’t be done differently or changed with your existing account. For me, I wanted to actually start with a different Warframe but you can get access to the other warframes pretty quickly. Enjoy! :)

    Hey all, Wanted to share a tip. Long time controller player here, first on Switch, then PC, and now Xbox. I’ve always hated how sensitive and difficult it is to select things in the gear wheel with controller, particularly when under stress/time pressure like for omintool, trap enemy to scan, and access the scanner. It’s a somewhat expensive workaround, but I got the Xbox pro series 2 controller. It has 4 extra paddle buttons on the back so you can remap things. You can remap PC function keys to the gear wheel and then map those to the extra buttons on the controller. Also nice, you can switch quickly between profiles on the controller with a single button so also easy to enable/disable this. Unfortunately the controller is pricey and that’s an Xbox only solution. I wish DE would just allow more mappable combo button capabilities with something like they do with abilities, RB plus A B X Y. Maybe LB plus A B X Y for some gear wheel shortcuts. Unfortunately not yet.

    So are you saying we need to create new forum account for the platform we want to access it for? In my case I have forum PC account access but I’m playing on Xbox and want to report Xbox bugs. So would I create a new forum account with my Xbox account?

    Same. Can only post in pc related forums. I also tried logging into Switch or Xbox for the forums but it always shows as a pc user. This is probably something they still need to iron out.

    With cross save I play PC, Xbox and Nswitch but can only post in the PC related bugs for example. Any plans to deal with this? Thanks.
