Even though I run the game through Steam, I play on the non-Steam version of Warframe, for reasons best explained elsewhere. Anyhow, the title of this post basically says it all: the L1/LB button doesn't move the player down in "flying" type gameplay like it should. My temporary fix was this: With a 5ms delay on the "Left Bumper". Not an ideal fix, as it makes navigating menus flaky, but it works for now.

Honestly I use Artax with pretty much every sentinel - the slowing effect of the Ice Beam is just too good. I don't really rely on sentinels for damage, animal companions are way better for that.

I figured this out, I figured I'd post the solution for anyone else having this problem: To disable the on-screen keyboard for Warframe, you need to switch the "Autofocus Textfields" option to "NONE".

Is it possible to get rid of Steam's onscreen keyboard? I play with controller, but sitting right in front of the keyboard, and it's really obnoxious.
