I think I have an idea on how to keep the “umbra” theme going. Firstly, I know that DE said they had no interest in keeping this theme going but I believe that this is too unique of an idea to let go.
Now with saying that, here’s how I think we keep it goin; first we limit it to only being the beginner frames. We already have Excalibur, so it only makes sense to keep it as the beginners. Next, we don’t call them “Volt Umbra” or “Mag Umbra” because those names sound kinda on the nose. I think we stay with the theme of Latin origin words and call Volt “Volt Tempestas” which means storm and Mag “Mag Vacuus” which means void (this is probably incorrect because I used google translate but meh).
Now on to how you would get these frames, I think that we should use the steel path. It would make sense because these frames would be much more powerful than their normal and prime counterparts, and it would give another reason to try to get to the steel path.
If anybody wants me to talk about the quest themselves, blow this post up. I really want this to reach DE themselves and possibly add this to the game.
