Scratch that, I think Pluto was the agricultural planet, while Neptune is the industrial capital. That would make sense since computers are far more efficient at cooler temperatures.

And that makes more sense, Pluto actually BEING a terrestrial planet, though it doesn't explain the terrestrial tilesets we see on Neptune (especially that one Index stadium).

Actually, no idea. Probably for the same reason Venus isn't a burning hellscape. Orokin terraforming, most likely.

Still, most planetside missions on corpus planets are frozen landscapes of one form or another, so DE should clarify that a bit.

I agree! It makes sense on Pluto, but NEPTUNE?

  3. I have in my possession a couple of Relics that have since been vaulted, and I've refined them to Radiant in the hopes of getting the better prizes from them, but I'm concerned because I only really have one shot at each, and I worry that if I just go into a Public Void Fissure mission where people bring along whatever Relics they have the most of, RNG will not be kind to me and I'll end up wasting the Relics and my shot at getting the specific Prime parts I need.

I figure the best way to mitigate this risk is to recruit players with the same Relics, all of us bringing the same Relic refined the same way to maximize the chances of getting the gold-tier rewards all around, but I don't want to just go into Recruitment Chat and shout "HEY ANYBODY GOT RELIC X AND WANNA TEAM UP TO HOPEFULLY GET SPECIFIC PRIME PARTS?!"  What's the best way to phrase my request so I'm not being rude in the chat?  I'm not sure what the "do's and don'ts" of Recruitment Chat are, especially when soliciting strangers to form a team for a specific mission.

You probably mean Axi S6 because Axi A6 isn't from the Prime Vault. Lua Disruption doesn't have any Prime Vault Relics because they only drop in the Void and on the Open World Bountys. The Best place for Vault Axi Relics is the Cetus/Fortuna Bountys.

This https://tenno.zone/planner is a good Site with all the Places where you can farm relics.

Ah, you're right.  S6 is the one I'm looking for.  Today's the last day, and Bounties I CAN do!

EDIT: I DID IT!  I have 2 S6's now!  Now I just have to get enough Void Traces to refine them all and then I can find other players who also have them so we can increase our chances of getting the right stuff!

  5. I have a life outside Warframe, you know. 😑

I do have some good news.  It appears on closer examination of the relics I do have that I already have everything for the Galatine Prime, along with the majority of the relics needed for both Nekros Prime and Silva and Aegis Prime.  All that's missing is the Axi A6.  The one type of relic I can't easily farm as the Luna Disruption mission isn't accessible until I complete War Within.

The obvious solution seems to be trying to taxi with someone in the next two days and hoping to RNG that I can get two or three Axi A6s before time runs out, but I really REALLY don't want to be rude, and I'm scared going up to a bunch of strangers and demanding to be taxi'd to a specific node is THE PEAK of rudeness.

  6. In less than a week, Oberon and Necros Primes will be vaulted along with their respective weapons to make way for Nova and Trinity Primes' unvaulting.

This is kind of making me panic as I desperately want the Silva and Aegis and Galatine Primes, but lack the ability to farm certain types of relics due to where I am in the plot (I'm between The Second Dream and The War Within), and I obviously can't farm relics and advance the plot at the same time.

What do I do?  I took a break from Warframe for over a week, but I'm still not enjoying playing because I'm afraid I'm going to miss my opportunity to secure some of the weapons I've wanted most in the game since I started playing.

  7. I'm preparing to do Orokin Derelict missions for the first time and while I understand the mechanics (needing to make special keys to open the nodes and Dragon Keys from the Clan Dojo that penalize your Warframe to open the Vault Door) I'm looking for advice on doing these missions efficiently and politely,  as I tend to rely on Public Matchmaking and don't want to be burdensome to players I don't know.

I know that some Warframes can mitigate or outright ignore certain Dragon Key penalties, like the one that drains shields not impacting Nidus or Inaros, and that it's more efficient for a group of 4 to each have 1 Dragon Key of differing types to ensure at least one of you has the right one for the Vault, rather than carrying multiple keys yourself and trying to solo it, but how do you know which Dragon Key and Frame to use in a Public matchup, where you could be partnered with anyone and could risk redundant Dragon Keys? Is it just a matter of meeting with people beforehand and coordinating who has what, like when you're doing an Eidolon hunt?

  8. Any recommendations on how to stave off RNG-induced head-explosion?  I just feel like I've very little chance of doing all of this stuff in the 9 days left of the month...after all, the old saying goes: insanity is doing the exact same thing over and over again and expecting different results...

  9. I'm aware that there's a Mastery Rank requirement of MR 3 in order to participate in Scarlet Spear, but are there quest requirements too?

I've only just completed The New Strange and haven't gotten to the big storyline quests like Second Dream or War Within, or gotten to the point where I can build a railjack. Will I be able to participate in Scarlet Spear or am I basically out of luck?

  10. Thank you for the advice.  I just picked up some Relics from Red Veil and was surprised that they could be quite nice.  I obviously have work to do if I want to get the remaining parts of Limbo Prime before he's vaulted at the end of the month.

I don't mind doing Void Fissure Missions with a basic relic for stuff I've already got.  If I just joined to farm Void Traces without a relic, the other players might see me as a leech, and it's a good source of ducats.

It was mentioned that I can max out 3 syndicates.  How does that work, exactly, if doing Syndicate missions will always upset more Syndicates than a pair of allied ones?  For example, I'd initially been looking at the rewards from Steel Meridian and New Loka and was wondering how to best farm rep from Steel Meridian, when that would make New Loka hate me, and someone suggested what I do is initially focus on the Red Veil to raise Steel Meridian standing by proxy, then just go for New Loka proper once I'd gotten all the goodies from Steel Meridian.  That feel apart for two reasons: 1, I find I like Steel Meridian the best out of the factions in terms of personality rather than gear, and 2, when I did Steel Meridian Syndicate missions I'd take upset New Loka anyway, and found that using Medallions only made it worse.  How do you manage to juggle three factions at once instead of one faction and its closest ally?  I have been told there's a way to gain max standing with ALL of them at once, but that it obviously takes a long time and you can't actually get rewards from them as it throws off the standing balances which have to be carefully curated.

Also, as I've just unlocked ESO, is there anything in particular I need to know in terms of etiquette?  I've been told it's rude to just bring ANY frame to it, as it ruins the group's cohesion and strategy, kind of like the meta for Eidolon Hunts?  How do I know what I'm doing in that?

  11. Having just completed that quest myself, here's the insights I've gleaned:

When I fought the second fight, I used Nyx, hoping to make the rock monsters fight each other to keep some of the pressure off me.  I don't know how effective that strategy actually IS as I didn't know how to play Nyx properly, so I primarily relied on the Torid I'd brought, which I modded for as much Viral damage as I could muster.  It was slow going as I hadn't properly planned for bringing ammo restores, but it did the trick in whittling down the rock monsters with pot shot after potshot while I'd hide every so often because getting into a shooting match of viral grenade vs. rock is NOT desirable.  This was before the recent updates that changed damage, so it may be even more effective now that Viral's just a little bit more helpful.

What I would actually recommend NOW is slightly different, what I used to beat the Tomb Protector in what you'll encounter as the final fight of the quest: Valkyr.  At rank 30, with a basic mod setup on both her and her claws, and one casting of Hysteria, Valkyr can rip through most of these kinds of fights with very little effort.  I didn't have her for the multiplying dudes, though, so I'm not sure how well she'd handle the increasing number of enemies as the fight goes on, or if they'd eventually overwhelm her.

And secondly, make sure to craft and bring Restores of various kinds, especially Energy and Health Restores.  Depending on what frames you have access to, these fights can become SLOGS if you're solely relying on pickups from fallen enemies.  I know a few ammo restores and an ammo mutation mod would have allowed me to keep my Torid topped up, giving me the means to take the Guardians down much more efficiently.

Hope this advice helps, and good luck!

  12. Now that I've FINALLY managed to move on from the Sands of Inaros quest that had been driving me up the wall for so long, I wanted to farm some Void Relics, and I'm concerned the way I'm going about things is inefficient.

I'm practically buried in Lith relics, and Ive finally reached places where I can farm Meso and Neo ones more quickly, but when I've gone into missions to open relics of those types, refined to Radiant, the options that show up are all the lowest tier of reward, and often things I already have, meaning my next stop is the nearest relay to trade them for ducats, while I've wasted a relic I have relatively few of, the void traces I spent to refine them, and the time I spent farming those traces and doing the mission to unlock the relic itself.

The reason I don't have this problem with Lith relics is because I have, like 25 or more of each kind, so I don't even bother refining them and am less interested in the rewards they provide as in the traces I get from opening them to refine other relics.

So...should I adopt this strategy with higher tier relics and just hoard them, hoping in some distant future I'll have enough of them to just open one after the other until I get the Prime Part I actually want, or is there a more efficient way to tip the odds so I'm not beating my head against the RNG for so long I give up and just buy it from another player using Platinum instead?

What do you veterans more skilled at math and Warframe than I do?

he also complements you if you use Inaros, due to the Quest and his history with that frame. I imagine he might need to change his trousers when we get Inaros Prime...

Though that would kind of make the lore in the Quest itself weird, since Primes are explicitly listed as the OG Warframes the Orokin developed, while the ones we use and build from regular blueprints are sort of reverse-engineered imitations.  The blueprints we get from the Quest are basic ones, so that implies the Inaros of legend was a basic one, and he was one-of-a-kind...where would that leave a hypothetical Inaros Prime, considering they're unlikely to go back and change the quest, especially as I can't imagine them giving out a free Prime?

Speaking of which, I FINALLY beat the last leg of the Quest with my aforementioned unpotato'd and unForma'd Valkyr!  I guess I really was worrying too much.  I didn't even NEED half the preparations I'd brought because Hysteria is just.  That.  STRONG!  I'll be saving my potatoes and Forma then, especially as I now have an Inaros to build!

My friends and I run vanilla frames with MK-1 weapons or low tier weapons sometimes in survivals for the #*!% of it.

I've heard about people doing that.  Like, taking their Excalibur or Mag, using the default color scheme and MK-1 weapons, and then running around the early missions with new players, basically veterans disguising themselves as n00bs.  Never actually met one myself, but I think it's a charming idea.

  14. So should I be able to handle the final battle of Sands of Inaros even if my vanilla Valkyr isn't potato'd or Forma'd and I'm just worrying too much because I've been banging my head against that fight for months now and my Rhino just can't handle it, or just bite the bullet and start asking around Warframe.Market for Valkyr Prime blueprints so I can make Valkyr Prime that will DEFINITELY get potato'd and Forma'd?

  15. Does anyone still use the "Vanilla" versions of their Warframes after getting their hands on the Prime version?  Or is it just a generally accepted fact that if you have the Prime version of a frame, the only reason to hang on to the old one is if you haven't gotten it to max rank for Mastery points?  What's the community's generally accepted wisdom in this matter?

I'm just wondering if it's a waste of Forma and time to build up a Warframe that will probably just end up collecting dust if I find the Prime Parts to make the "I'm you but cooler" version, but am not at that point yet and aren't sure if a max-ranked, un-Forma'd Warframe will cut it until that point.

To guess what Titania Prime's second Prime item (aside from Corinth Prime most of everyone is guessing off of the image), I'm leaning towards the Endura Prime.

I understand that the Sarpa was released with Titania, along with a Gunblade skin from her Empress Deluxe last year, but I feel that a Rapier can double as a wand to direct and lead Razorflies around like a fairy queen Titania is.

    Your guesses?

Considering from what I hear the Destreza Prime is getting vaulted in preparation for this (along with Limbo Prime and the Pyrana Prime), I'd say this is a solid guess.
