  1. So before taking my year long break due to hardware issues, I played quite a bit of Warframe, Gara especially. She's long been my favorite frame for a number of reasons, including her passive. Now that I'm slowly coming back I've been excited to play her again, but I'm not vibing with her passive change. Why her passive? Because in missions where she struggles due to lack of energy (either due to mismanagement or energy drain abilities), her survivability isn't all that bad. This is because of her passive working regardless of her abilities. When she struggles with energy she still had a chance of blinding enemies, which gave her enough time to take them down and recover quickly. Once she did she was able to get at least one energy drop out of the finishers which allowed for getting things back on track. Which means that her reworked passive is now useless. It only adds to her survivability when she has energy, but when she has the energy to cast her abilities she is actively a blender with high DR and therefore high invincibility. She doesn't need extra survivability as long as she has energy. The moment she doesn't have the energy to maintain her rotation, her shards usually wear off and she goes back to being easily squished in high level content. This is a situation in which a radial blind is helpful, not in situations where she blends through enemies regardless, but in situations where she needs a moment to breathe and get some spare energy back in order to keep going. The passive change makes her passive feel redundant to her entire kit, not as any sort of added bonus. She needs energy in order to activate her passive, but if she has energy she is already not needing blinds, she usually can just shred enemies.
