  1. Heh, I had put off doing this hoping they'd possibly fix it.....sadly, it is still laggy as hell for me.  I never have any lag issues while playing the regular game and I've never had to dumb down my graphic settings before this.

Actual more involved story was one of those things that got me back to playing this game again.  It's shame they didn't think it through better.

  2. I think the proper balance would be to give more time before the final transport leaves, but keep it so that the earlier transports leave at the current times.  That way, at least people new to the game (as has been discussed in these Rush threads before) with no gear can still complete the stage, but with only minimal rewards.  That makes the "get all 3 transports" still a difficult thing to accomplish for players who want the challenge....and aren't completely raging over how frustrated they are with the whole stage.

  3. I came back to game after a long while and found I've got the same problem.  Opened a dozen or so Liths, count still at zero.  If going in a group helps, I'll give it a try and hope for the best.

So, yes.  Doing them in a team is the only way I could get them to register.  Got all 3 in one excavation run.  (thanks to guys who helped, you're awesome)

  4. On the topic of lore-choice, I don't think the answer is that obvious.

Both sides end up with an enemy getting more powerful.  Both sides end up in the loss of the new-found Tenno.

It's just a matter of choosing between the risk of the Grineer (who are already the top power in this story) becoming more powerful (and perhaps too powerful to fight)...

    OR

Diverting that power to a lesser faction you might be easier to handle at the prideful cost that your own kind will be "perverted".

That was kinda why I like the scenario for this event.  There is no right answer.

  5. I agree with some of the earlier thoughts.

    Considering:

    - It is an obvious win for the Grineer (though I personally ran corpus)

    - DE has caught the problem fairly quickly (which, compared to some online companies is absolutely awesome to see)

    - the newer node rewards are lesser items compared to the earlier ones

    - everyone is getting tired of all of this/there haven't exactly been a flood of posts saying "I'm not done yet"

As stated before, just end the event already.  Learn from this.  Move on to the next idea.

Making a bigger deal over it than it already is only going to promote more "compromising" behaviour.

On a side note, if DE wants to do another event like this again, maybe doing it in a way where the players CAN'T see the progress/results before the event ends would be a better idea.  If no one knows who's winning and who's losing, they're more likely to keep playing for what they believe in and not get swayed by rage or a need to switch sides to try for the best reward.

  6. "If you switch sides, you will erode your rating with the opposition and risk getting neither reward."

Is EXACTLY what it says in the mission description.  Therefore, doing 100 for one side and 105 for the other = only doing 5.

    Period.

Anywho, I'm just sad that the people chose the Grineer.  As we've already gotten Grineer content with the planets not too long ago, you'd think people would want to throw votes towards this "new Corpus tech using Tenno".

    But what do I know?

  7. Here's the main problem I've had with the rescue-tards.

On stages where you have to make jumps (sometimes up to a new floor), I've had the little short-bus escapee just run around and NEVER jump up after me no matter how many times I clear the room or come down for him/her.

  8. I don't really care about the glare during the game, but I DO wish you could turn off the shines etc in the arsenal menu to better see what colours I'm actually applying to customize my character.  The glare off of certain characters completely distorts the colours.

Not a huge deal, but one for us shallow, spend-too-much-time-getting-our-characters-to-look-just-right kinda folk.

  9. This isn't really a big deal, but just incase....I've noticed the last few events the minimum default play reward for mods has always been Rifle related.  You guys may want to mix that up a bit.

As is, anyone who's a casual player will get nothing for any other type of weapon, etc.  Again, not a big deal, but falling too much into any pattern or routine is a sure way to get people bored with the game faster.

I know you guys are still learning the online ropes, keep up the improvements!  The idea of having to do an event to unlock content was great!

  10. I actually enjoyed the effort put into this event, story-wise.

There's a lot of complaining but try to remember, technically, there are still learning.  Consider the Frost Prime event...it took them until the last day to realize that maybe the event was too centered around the higher level players and offered nothing to lower/newer players.

This one made the same mistake.  The lower-mid level Formorians should have respawned way faster/more often than they did.  Agreed, it is still a better event than those in the past, but they still need a bit of work.

I'm not going to join the rage team, but I hope the next event learns from this one's mistake.  I only played a bit for one night and didn't do many runs, but I didn't really care about reaching 250.  One thing I did notice, is 90% of the time I logged in over the weekend, all of the low-mid level ships were already dead and only the lvl 40+ were able to be accessed.  If I were a lowbie/intermediate player, I'd have felt robbed.

If you make an event with a limited amount of enemies/runs, rememember to keep the mid-low range players involved.  This game hasn't been around long enough to be entirely composed of end-game players.  Alienate the mid-range and lower, and you've killed your future game population.

Anywho, liked the event, glad it happened, hope the next one is better.

  11. So far, (at least to me) half of the existing weapon skins look dumb.  Those dagger axe skins look like something a 5-year-old would consider cool.  I would love to see more skins, but not if they're going to be along the same lines as the previous ones.

Also, as the weapons catalogue expands, why not just provide skins of existing weapons?  Some of the earlier weapons are pretty much ignored end-game, but still look cool.  If I could skin those awkward looking Broncos to look like the Lex, I'd do it in a second.  Those would be easy to do as they're already in the game.

  12. I do agree with the helmets being cosmetic only.  If there is to be some kind of stat trade off, it should be a separate slot/equip.  If cosmetic looks weren't a factor for the game, why offer an increasing supply of colours?

  13. Random question.  When I first logged into the event there was an event mission "!" right under the notice which lead to a moa run.  I did that but didn't get to europa.  I had figured that "!" mission was part of the event.  (and I wasn't home even remotely enough to play to get to europa)

Was that just fluke timing with some random mission and I missed out on the whole event?

Not getting my hopes up, but have to ask.
