I agree, the inconsistent feel can be frustrating, but honestly I have a harder time dealing with the extreme screen shake of a heavy slam with sampotes. I don't remember getting that much screen shake with any other heavy slam, though it may just be how heavy weapons are now? I haven't tested any of the others, just noticed it with sampotes this afternoon.

I know this is an old thread, but it's one of the only ones I've seen mention this issue. I feel like it happens to me CONSTANTLY, and I am currently struggling because I keep failing a mastery test due to being repeatedly sent flying sideways off the map, resulting in running out of time to complete the objective. This glitch has been frustrating me for years, but lately it's hit a new level of frustration, since I've just failed the same mastery test multiple times, for this exact reason.
