  1. So I've been sitting on these guys for a good long while, artist that had been working to help put them in a visual means.  Well isn't their fault, rl will always win out.  So only have the prototypes image drafts of them which isn't exactly there yet so I won't post them.(It's kind of a unknown if the project will continue or not with that artist, but again I do not blame him.  More frustrated at myself for growing impatient.)  But anyways these frames are like a Further down the path of the sword than Excalibur is.

    Warframe Tsurugi

Stats(These are base like rank 0)

    Health: 80.0

    Armor: 250

    Shield: 200

    Power: 200

    Sprint Speed: 1.5

    Abilities

“Master of the Decisive Blade, the Bringer of Tranquility.”

(Tsurugi being a master of the Decisive Blade receives a 15% Attack Speed, 15% damage buff to Nikanas, Polearms, and Swords.  This includes it’s Revered Blade.)

    -Power 1:”Grass Blades”:

Materializes Ethereal Razor Sharp blades that resemble Grass, launches it towards a target and bursts on impact causing splash damage both the initial attack and the splash does Slashing and Puncture divided equally Damage(150/300/450/600 initial, 50/100/150/200 splash.) with 60% Bleed and 20% Weakened  proc rate.

    -Power 2: “Veil of Grace”:

    15/20/25/30 secs

Generates a Veil of wind and grass, it deflects at 20%/35%/50%/65% of projectile damage, while the damage that is received is halved.  Deactivating prematurely causes the wind to disperse causing knockdown and 50/100/150/200 Slashing damage with 100% Bleed proc rate.

    -Power 3: “Swift Cleave”:

Draws the Tsurugi’s stored blade (Separate from melee weapon) and readies itself in a Sheathed Sword stance, after a moment, he does a blindingly fast horizontal slanted slash dealing 600/800/1000/2000 Finisher Damage with 50% Bleed and 30% Weakened Proc Rate.

-Power 4: “Revered Blade/Blade of Kusanagi”:

    Energy Cost: 50

Draws his blade in a Sheathed Sword style and uses it to attack (Think Exalted Blade and Hysteria, and holding the blade like Vergil from Devil May Cry), does 80/120/160/200 finisher damage with a 50% bleed and 10% Weakened proc rate.  Drains 3 energy with each attack no matter if it misses or hits, but can be kept out eternally, does not generate energy waves with every slash like Exalibur’s Exalted Blade.  Has a 50% damage reflection when blocking, and a 90% reflection while channeling, but drains 6 energy for every deflection.  Energy gained through energy pads are disabled, but Energy Syphon is not, EV, immune to energy leaches.

-Physical Description (I tried but I have relatively no idea of how they are suppose to look Brain is not cooperating much on this.  ;w; it is a fuzzy image with rough edges in my mind.): Carries a posture of fluidity, slightly more muscular then Volt, tall and lean build, but some indication of muscle growth, legs are little longer than usual.  A sheathed blade is stored at his waist angled lower than a Nikana if equipped matches the two katana look.  The helmet generates an energy trail in the back, giving the appearance of a ponytail.  Has the look of a wandering samurai (No straw hat, would look a little silly).  A sense of calm yet fierce power lies in the helmet’s look.   Silverish-white color scheme with light blue energy color.  Tsurugi's name is based off of "Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi"

    Warframe Kamakiri

    Stats(These are Rank 0 stats)

    Health: 200

    Armor: 400

    Shield: 80

    Power: 150

    Sprint Speed: 0.6

    Abilities

“Master of the Dancing Blades, the Bringer of War.”

(Kamakiri being a Master of the Dancing Blades receives a 20% increased damage to Dual Swords,  Heavy Blades, and Glaives.

    -Power 1: “Blade Sickle”:

Kumakiri generates and tosses a glaive like moving blade that spins, dealing Slashing damage to enemies caught in its path, having innate punchthrough. It deals 50/75/100/200 Slashing Damage, with a 70% Bleed Proc chance.   It functions similarly to glaives in that it can bounce off surfaces.

    -Power 2: “Bloodlust”:

Generates a state of bloodlust in Kamakiri, it decreases all damage received be 20%/30%/40%/50%, and is completely immune to Bleed Proc.  While in this state, all bleed procs allies and it generates and receives a Blood Frenzy stack, max 4/5/6/7 stacks, increases his melee attack speed by 5% for a total of 20%/25%/30%/35% attack speed for melee attacks.  Drains 5 energy a second.   Ally Procs: 12=1 stack, Self Procs: 8=1 Stack, Damage Taken Bleed Proc (instead it is absorbed).4=1 Stack.  Each Stack will degrade every 5 seconds in Bloodlust, and degrade every second out of Bloodlust.  ES, and energy gained from pads are disabled.

    -Power 3: “Furious Crescent”:

    Duration: 5/10/15/20 secs

Generates a slow moving spinning blade that damages any enemies within it causing 70/140/180/240 slashing damage a half a second with 40% Bleed Proc Chance, a maximum of 4 circles can be spawned at one time by the user.

-Power 4: “Blade Dance/Blades of Liberation”

Forms a second pair of hands of energy as he draws the four blades stored on his back in a double cross pattern.  He then begins a preparation with his blades before starting a flurry of powerful and long reaching slashes before cleaving the blades outward.  Dealing 600/900/1200/1500/ finisher damage to all enemies within his field of vision and range times the number of Blood Frenzy Stacks, the stacks is then removed.

-Physical Description (I tried but I have relatively no idea of how they are suppose to look.):  Kamakiri have a pretty sturdy and has more insect like aesthetic look to him.  Carries confidence in his power and form exudes a love of battle.  His blades are stored on his back in a double cross pattern.  When activating his 4 is activated a second set of energy like arms are formed to draw the second set of blades.   He is about similar size to Chroma(With elemental on) in both muscles and height.  Helmet carries two horns that look like armored antenna, carries a feel of power and fierceness.   Comes default with a Bronze-Emerald Scheme with burning red energy color.  He is slower than most frames on foot.  It takes loose inspiration from the Kamakiri Mantis, the six limbs is a representation of that only two pairs of arms instead of two pairs of legs.  I would be lying if I also had some inspiration from  FF14's Ravana, who I'm pretty sure also takes inspiration from the Kamakiri.  His abilities are more to the mentality cleaving all down all and letting their blood spill out, thus the blood lust is quenched momentarily.  A sort of thrill of the battle type of mentality.

I hope it is clear picture.  Let me know how this is.  And please be gentle, cause I was afraid to post this because I didn't have a truly perfect picture for them.  ;w;  Also is there a master post for artists willing to take requests around?  I think I do remember there being one but can't remember where.

Um.... What? A lot of the people who are looking at Valkyr P. are avid fans of the game, and the frame itself--and are confused by the rather erratic design of Valkyr Prime, in comparison to what's thought of as the "Original Frame Appearance" [Gersemi].

I had money ready to drop on this Prime Access... But I'm not quite sure anymore. The aesthetic is bothering me, as it is likely bothering many others.

Also, just because it is 'free' for most players, doesn't mean they don't make money. The aesthetic choices for Prime designs [and, in turn, what they get on their Prime Access] is paramount to getting players to drop money on acquiring them quickly from DE. While this game may be 'free', do not fool yourself into thinking that they don't make money. Their choices with designing this Prime, however, is making me--and probably other Valkyr mains--second-guess their desire to shell out for her prime.

Yeah... that does kind of bug me.  Also to counter others points about her powers, Valkyr has always been a Berserker Frame, you can dissect and strip the frame all you want, the core function is the only part you can't strip away.  So while Valkyr is damaged in the base skin, her powers would remain relatively unchanged, however due to the experiments of Alad V, they may have more ferocity to the power, than a case of blood lust berserker as with Gersemi.

While many people have asked for a cheaper option, many others have offered to spend $60, if only the pack wouldn't contain Mag and the associated weapons. They already have those, and don't want useless copies. Some people have asked for the option to receive bp's instead, since at least that way people could DO something with the extras.

Only duplicate I'd get is mag prime.  So I'm fine with it, and it isn't like they do Prime Vault often, then I'd agree with you there.

The last one was $60, and this one has already been stated to be $60.

Huh... you're right... guess my memory failed me, although still didn't have Dakra Prime and Boar Prime, plus 1200 plat, targis prime set, and mag prime, is a fair price seeing as it is only slightly more than prime access accessory pack.

People need to stop complaining. Just be happy that they even brought the Targis armor back. Was taking a break at that time and missed the pack that this armor was in.  And even though I have mag prime and all her head I'm still dropping 60 for this armor. Would it be nice for a separate pack? Yes. But you can't really complain about how a company does their business.

    It's 40, not 60.

I have to be honest, I do not understand these sorts of arguments at all. In what way is DE doing us a favor? Sure, they're bringing back Targis. I'm happy about it, and I'll probably get it. But when a company charges me $60 for an in-game cosmetic, that doesn't qualify as a "favor." They aren't bringing Targis back out of the kindness of their pure white hearts, they're bringing it back because they know they can make stupid amounts of money selling it at $60 a pop. Which is fine! DE is a business, yes, but a business that I happen to like. They bring frequent updates, release new content on a rapid schedule, listen to the community (sometimes), stream their own play sessions, incorporate community ideas (think: clem), and generally make warframe a great and addictive game to play. So they SHOULD make money, they SHOULD do well, and I don't mind being a part of that.

But we still can't let ourselves forget: we ARE customers. We, as customers, are the reason DE exists. If anyone is doing anyone else a favor, it's US, when we buy overpriced PA packs and overpriced cosmetics and spend our plat on formas and color packs and fancy scarves. So when we want the pack they are selling to be slightly different, when we want to have an option for bp's instead of built weapons, that matters. It IS important.

So please, if everyone could stop pretending that DE is a charity, and stop calling us entitled for voicing our opinions as customers of DE, that would really be great.

And if DE could read all this, and - at very very least - make an official statement regarding it, that would be even better.

Prime Vaults are usually lower than the Prime Access smallest tier.  40$ is probably going to be the price.

I'd be fine with the (presumably $60 USD) pricetag on the vault if it included an option to not give players who already own these primes worthless copies that do nothing but inflate the price. I'd be fine with there not being a cheaper, accessories-only option for just the cosmetics, but come on, paying the price of a full game to get some useless items when you could offer an alternative package that could in no possible way harm your profits is incredibly frustrating.

If a new player wants the Primes guaranteed, they buy the current pack.

If players who own Mag Prime's gear don't want dupes, they pay the same price but get something as replacement so they're getting their money's worth.

DE gets the same price on each package, and undoubtedly even more because now there's not the issue of "I would buy this pack buy but don't want to waste a lot of money on useless dupes". With these two options you're not losing out on any potential customers you have right now, and the Vault Unseal would only gain more appeal. A cheaper accessories option could run the risk of losing profit since it's changing the skew of package-price to number of buyers, but this would be a simple fix that would go a long way to not only make some money, but be a good will move to not ask players to buy useless things just to get what they want to support the game.

Last one was 40$ for a frame, two weapons and the accessories is not a bad price for it.

  8. Thats actually duplicated AI and not considered real Ghosts. Its also seen as a bad thing in that universe, being illegal. Anyway its not the point, a consciounceness taking over another living consciousness is slavery in my eyes.  Some fiction makes it folksy by making the slave mentally invalid or a pet. Like Tachikomas for the latter, but other works show the true robbery of freedom of it all. This entire idea is unsavory to me. No amount of trying to point out that the Frames are alive is making this setup pleasing to me.

Last part, I didn't say take over, I said work with, like synergy connection, the Tenno provides the Energy for the Frame to move.

Alright, you have your way of seeing, and I have mine.  Let's call it here and say that we all decide to view it our own way.  I have mine, you have yours, I'm finished here.    I stated how I viewed it and have stated my view on the topic.  I'm not going to go into a philosophical discussion of the line between AI and the concept of the Soul, I doubt either of us have a degree in the field anyways.  I will merely state we must all respect the opinions of others and move on.

  9. Ghost in the shell refers to a mind going into an artificial body. Motoko is not inhabiting a body of its own consciouness, its a cybernetic body with no other consciouness but her own, still biological, brain. A warframe having its own consciouness, yet being manipulated by these children, is not the same situation, it is also undesireable to me.

Its just sugar coated slavery. They have to make the frames mentally invalid for it to even be somewhat presentable, thats why Eva's are wild or the Na'vi clones are literally braindead, without a host. Its so transparent in how pitiful a setup this is that I just don't care that their sentient vessel gets killed, its good that they get put out of its enslaved misery. So the Mirage or Limbo deaths lack any impact even if the frames are "alive".

But it is brought up that dolls who didn't have a human mind can form a Ghost as it were.  Moved this to the correct thread.  It is not slavery, it is a form of Symbiosis would be the correct term in a sense.  Think of the link connection as a sort of way to blur consciousness with will, the Frames have a Will, a characteristic, a personality to them that works with the Tenno's mind/presence to function.

EDIT: This also doesn't mean that Frames in the past weren't suits as it were, that would be entirely discrediting Hayden Tenno.  It just means the frames in the current era are more akin to Golems that have "Echos of a Ghost" in terms of being.

  10. I'm so glad that my Warframe shows less personality and sentience in a cutscene(where people merely assume it acted on its own in), than the mere ingame idle animations.

Really makes me care about their being alive, when they need to be puppeted to do anything warranting any semblance of behavior belonging to a sentient being, regardless. The slave implications from being an autonomous body manipulated by the Tenno, are especially gnarly.

    -_-

This is another reason why I just wanted a suit.

That is your belief, not mine, I find my theory facinating personally.  Like I said a "Ghost" does not outright mean sentience.  You completely glossed over what I meant.

  11. You could also add a dash of eastern kimono vibe if you were inclined as well.  Considering a popular spider entity being the man-eating spider demon, Jorogumo, a spider entity who can take the form of a young woman.  As another possible idea to toss into the the pool.

  12. Why do people always forget that moment when the Warframe pulled the sword out of itself?

It's not just a puppet clearly

I also have an add on to this, the current Warframes are often called puppets on strings, but have developed individual "Ghosts" as it were in a limited sense. Hints to this that moment in between pod transference  the operator needed to be in direct contact with the frame to control it.  Near the end, it was the Frame that broke War on their own, not being controlled by the operator. Thus the term Ghost in the Shell.  Or in otherwords the Frames may contain a soul of their own, could also explain the Stalker in a more extreme case.

  14. "This update gives the toxic Saryn a lot of love with a brand-new deluxe skin, Syandana, and a weapon skin"

"Get the Saryn Orphid Skin, Melia Sugatra, and Cyskis Dual Zoren Skin by visiting the Market today!"

Is this a typo? I don't see a new Syandana.

It is a Sugatra, meaning for your melee weapon.  So yeah Syandana is a typo most likely, it happens.
