  1. can chroma get a multiplicative buff on vex armor like mirage? his buff is harder to achieve SURELY someone at de would understand a harder to achieve buff would mean it’s a better buff

    surely u will listen to this feedback like u listened to the dante & nezha  and reverted those nerfs??

    What I was hoping to do was carry the status onwards with Voruna, I hop into a bunch of enemies, throw in Fangs, blow them up and and when I come to the next group I find some enemies already primed, I can immediately blow them up but I can also cast Fangs again to further propagate this and keep the dynamic going as I move through the map or have enemies come at me bit by bit. As it is right now I often feel like I'm wasting my time with Fangs and thus wasting my time playing Voruna, compared to other Melee Frame options that can just hit harder upfront or cover more space with their damage.

     

     

     

     

    yeah fangs keeping on chaining would be insane QoL tbh idm it, it only spreads once

    shieldgating exists? brief respite? shes as squishy as 90% of the frames so no shes not really squishy
    you cant even perma invis with her because her invis breaks upon a melee attack

    her 3 literally has 100% uptime if you're getting kills (you should be getting kills because shes a dps frame)
    have you even played her lol?

    why would you not use her 2nd ability, 1 has a usecase of mobility between tilesets since its a speed boost stacking with her 1 passive

    her passives are good though, 2 is complete status immunity and 1 passive is literally gauss but faster and more maneuverable 
    shes arguably the best melee frame or atleast 2nd best
    i like her more than kullervo since i dont have to setup collective curse and whatnot

    but i think the new nezha augment is kinda powercreepy and they should let you select what statuses you get with her 2, you can literally sometimes nuke rooms or do no damage because of the status effects

    like seriously your 100k bleed procs just become 1m bleed procs lmao ?
    and 100k is barely any investment
     ignoring the heat procs and whatnot

    nezha can literally do vorunas job of priming enemies better than voruna herself, if you spear 20 enemies you get 400 heat procs in a much higher range lol

    cedo+new augment is just gonna 1 shot everything

    One play frames that don't need investment to be good at starchart levels.

    Hildryn, Lavos, Octavia, Gara (within reason), Stynax... etc. Grendel himself should also excel at these missions.  So if you got the prime use it to get the vanilla version.

    Augment mods count even if regular mods don't. 

    Use weapons with strong mechanics built in. I found the Cedo great as it's glaive doesn't cost ammo and puts statuses on enemies that increases it's damage. 

    Incarnon weapons didn't exist when I did it but would be ideal for trivializing the missions. I guess it's worth a look if Archon shards also apply.  So you could leverage that as well if you want. 

    u can’t activate incarnon modes afaik

  7. they are so inconsistent in whether CC can affect eximus enemies or not

    why can rhino cc enemies but not limbo when rhino is a millions time tankier and has a fat dmg buff to pack? 

     

    makes no sense, eximus enemies and overguarded enemies feel rushed and poorly thought out

    doubling credit drops is his signature ability though, it’s a pretty sizeable increase it’s like saying who would play khora without her whipclaw or revenant without his mesmer skin, like yeah nobody would 

    he still has a niche more than 95% of frames just bc of double creds, like i honestly play chroma more than mirage just due to this fact for PT runs 

    also nobody plays base chroma when you need to farm 3 other frames to build him 

    thats why i said going off usage is dumb, the stat is mega ambiguous and it’s kept that way for a reason

    mirage players parrot nobody plays her why touch her etc when her usage is apparently 1.40%

    styanax has NUTS damage and support capabilities with final stand and aug, alongside teamwide energy gen and 100% armor strip

    if anything id rather have a styanax in my team giving 40k overguard over other support frames

    chroma is still probably the go to frame for profit taker because of effigy lol just because he’s not the most used frame doesn’t mean nobody plays him

    also vex armor is less reliable than eclipse, needs you to take damage for max buff while eclipse is just a toggle

    there isn’t even a proper way to gauge frame usage rate 

  11. i’m not a fan of proteas animations at all, they’re super slow and clunky even with natural talent and her 1 just feels awful to spam when she does a hop everytime you press it, just feels like lost mobility 

     

    i get what they were going for a gymnast or w/e but man they’re just so slow and worst part they’re slow animations on a pretty heavy ability spam frame

  12. they can also add scaling to her 2 so it won’t be as annoying to restack

    whenever you cast mass vitrify, enemies hp during the starting animation gets added to the wall

    just let a portion of the walls hp% get added to splinter storm

    just because it’s a pve game doesn’t mean it doesn’t need to balanced lol

     

    also yes much more broken frames exist but it’s a combination of all their 4 abilities which makes them broken, mirages eclipse is the “broken ability” in her kit( not my words, this is what mirage players proclaim ) and is available to ALL frames with helminth so they need to balance around every frame existing not just mirage

     

    also tbh if being realistic i frankly doubt the games code can handle letting eclipse be a multiplicative final dmg buff on mirage and an additive base dmg buff via helminth so for DE it’s just easier to make it all around additive 

    partly you can chalk it up to the mirage players being completely delusional tbf, iirc eclipse with 300% p strength is like a 400%? final dmg multiplier

    yeah i doubt de r fine w giving all wfs a 100% uptime 400% multiplicative weapon buff on demand

    technically DE never changed how it works on mirage specifically they just changed the ability as a whole

    they just used clever wording to bypass it
