  1. It's called Eclipse so why one effect or the other and not simply both at the same time? Let's face it the poorly detailed evasion bonus and the damage reduction will be entirely ignored in favor of more damage output if it's a toggle. I also concur with comments accepting a further reduction/cap in its Helminth stats as it should find a good niche alongside Roar that makes up for its lower damage increase with its added survivability by having both effects at once. Slight of Hand can likewise deal both effects simultaneously (that being damage/blind). I did also see posts noting the Helminth usage data and I too think it's important to take into account that the way it is bugged in open worlds means it has been recommended in builds specifically for open world grand bosses which will heavily skew any data.
  2. Both accounts, else you can only Link with one account overwriting the other instead of merging inventories. For Broken War the Shadow Stalker isn't too difficult to farm. His assassination contracts are assigned per assassination boss so you can fight each one three times to pick up another attempt on your life and have them all active simultaneousy, then track which one's he's talking about when he shows up to go and refresh whichever contract he came to collect for. The Blade and Hilt parts aren't as bad to get anymore with Archon Hunt's spamming snetient units plus they were added to Cephalon Simaris' shop in Relays (the big orange face).
  3. I just noticed I have a similar issue with my Operator. My Warframes and Drifter are fine as far as I can tell (though I haven't exhaustively checked my Warframes) but my Operators C appearance has duplicated and overwritten the A and B appearances. Moreover any changes applies to all three so if I change my Operators Sleeves on A it also changes the Sleeves on B and C to match. I have one config masquarading as three!
  4. Do also note that your open Slots that have been obtained for free are currently being lost during the merge so make sure to fill them up with Warframes, Weapons, etc to keep them in the transfer. The lowest MR weapons are available pre-built for credits from the market so that's easy. You might need to farm some low level assassinations to simultaneously build junk Frosts and Rhino's to quickly fill up empty Warframe Slots. This might become unnecessary if these free Slot removals are unintended but that's how it works for now. This also includes your precious Loadout slots in your arsenal (the ones where you can assign a name and a Glyph) and unlike the other Slots for gear these will apparently be lost if they are deleted post merge so only ever edit them; never delete.
  5. I did notice one time the other day that my Forum account got stuck on the wrong account while swapping accounts on the main website. Might be the forums get confused when the "same" account logs in and ignores the memo to update with your other info. Try deleating your cookies?
  6. That's a fair point tbh. I can only guess it's primarily for stability as some things that did merge have caused unexpected issues such as the couple of threads where people got stuck on the Uranus sentient scanning step in a quest because their scan progress merged into an account with lower quest progression and they can no longer perform the scanning action as the quest requires.
  7. Use PC account (A) to login PC account (A) on PC. Use Nintendo Switch account (B+C) or PC account (B+C) to login merge account (B+C). PC logins go direct to Warframes server. Console logins go to Nintendo, Xbox or PlayStation servers and then tells Warframe who is logged in. I don't believe Warframe can see your Nintendo Switch login information so Warframe doesn't even know you have reused PC account (A) login info on Nintendo Switch (B+C). --- Bad idea to reuse passwords. Worse to tell people that you have reused passwords. See these articles from Google and Mozilla (Firefox) and their related articles they each link to for help on staying secure: https://safety.google/security/security-tips/ https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/password-strength These sites for checking your email addresses aren't involved in a data breach, if they are you could be at risk: https://haveibeenpwned.com https://monitor.mozilla.org For 2FA / OTP (Two Factor Authentication / One Time Passwords) this article has a good list of options with links: https://www.pcmag.com/picks/the-best-authenticator-apps
  8. One thing you can check is to press Start/Esc go to Options then the System tab with the monitor and little gear wheel. There's a button near the bottom of that tab to Analyze your network and see if that can find the problem (tho usually the game will have already warned you about a network issue so it might be blind to the problem). Giving your PC a static IP in your router settings (or even just power cycling your router and PC) could be enough to solve your chat/social space connection issues; otherwise there's a long running website with guides for forwarding ports for just about every app and router under the sun: https://portforward.com/warframe/
  9. It's the same as it ever was, only your accounts all pull from the same bucket of data. On PC that's with your email/password and on console simply start the Warframe app as normal with no additional login screens. Warframe's method to hook into the console account and use the account itself as an identifier is a bit different than say Epic/Fortnite using its own login no matter the platform and the console account in use and so far that hasn't really changed. It is good to not have to do a bothersome sign up process when first trying out Warframe on console but it means that Warframe is chained to that console account so we do now have upto four attack vectors for accessing merged/linked accounts. Hacking in Warframe does happen, from clans to region chat to discord and other social media I've seen people fire up Warframe for the first time in a while only to discover they have no Rivens, no Plat and so on. It would be worth everybody's time to review their consoles accounts to make sure they aren't vulnerable, absolutely use 2 Factor Authentication/One Time Passwords if you aren't already, get fresh backup codes, and create alerts with the database breach services like the site haveibeenpwned or Firefox Monitor to get notified if your email accounts shows up in some big leak. Edit: only one achievement, Cheater of Death (revive 1k allies) triggered on Steam yesterday but today I just logged in and got the Kuva Lich and MR 25-30 achievements (PC account was 24 before merge) 🥳
  10. I took some videos of my regular inventories before merging for comparison. Thinking back to what Slots I think I bought I'm pretty sure I lost all open free Slots and only kept open purchased Slots. I'll dump the particulars in this spoiler box. It's not the worst loss. I got the vast majority of my Slots for free from various twitch drops and promos and events and Nightwaves (dozens and dozens) and was using most them. Plus with how I replicated all my favorite setups I have a lot of duplicate stuff to throw out and free up Slots once I get to sorting. All in all it's just another one of those things DE should have informed players of during the process if it's intended for unused freebie open Slots to get lost. Were I not tired and rushing and paid more attention I would've filled up more Slots. On the brighter side for varieties sake I picked different post New War looks for Lotus and with those choices being cosmetic "items" I kept all three. A small saving over buying them as one would normally have to do to obtain the two options they didn't pick during TNW. Riven capacities correctly merged. I had added 105 on one platform and 3 on another. So together with the default 15 I have 123. The default 15 of two secondary accounts did not add up which is what I would expect given the nature of how those things eat up more serverspace than typical items. I didn't track my Railjack so I have no idea what's going on there because I just don't really care for it. 😸
  11. Thank you! ❤️ The website is so unclear about the process! And I've been reading the forums and watching the live streams and still needed additional help in understanding what I'm doing. 😣 EDIT: alrighty, merged PC and NSW with NSW being Primary which resulted in the PC having the NSW Mastery and login days. Upon success I had the two platform accounts appear together in a different spot on the cross-save page. Next I picked Xbox which went through to the Primary choice page again, this time with PC and Xbox and picked PC (which now had the NSW mastery and login days).
  12. The official forums hold the line as the last stand against the eternal darkness of server death.
  13. With an advance warning like that it really will be a stress test as everyone tries to rush at 8am ET before any issues arise that close the floodgates until the new year 😱
  14. I've seen it mentioned elsewhere that the replacement frame the game chooses when you try to use an Excal Prime on a console will be your oldest available frame, so that's why it is different for everybody.
  15. Full ingame red text for any who missed it: It was a bit more explicit, yea 🫠
  16. Debating over the impact to the games economy if a player merged their previously duplicated account seems moot when the two accounts still exist side by side and cross trade is coming. Besides, DE's given reason for not allowing it was that they are on some technical level "the same account". I could only blindly speculate on the difficulties of dealing with that issue in a live database when I barely understand excel spreadsheets myself.
  17. I believe the issue is that Switch Platinum is only available on Switch while Xbox, PSN and PC have a shared pool of Platinum. For buying regular in game content all that means is it has to be done via Nintendo Switch and Slots or Skins will be available on the other platforms when logged into them (barring console Tennogen as Tennogen bought after November 24th has its own platform restrictions). Of course this can be an issue under certain circumstances such as if the Nintendo Switch is lost or damaged or if a person was hoping to make trades on other platforms with a livelier trading ecosystem.
  18. Original usernames will remain and appear when you log into each platform with cross save: you will have your Xbox gamertag when you play on Xbox with your cross save account and your PC Warframe name when you play from your PC and so on.
  19. They are admitting players through in limited quantities to avoid overwhelming the systems and having a better chance at catching any issues that may arise (and one such did on last Friday). Whichever method they chose to select would ultimately be arbitrary but in this case they've so far gone with Founders for the 1st wave (yesterday) and pre-existing PC Prime Access buyers for the 2nd wave (today). No purchase is necessary: only patience. There are scattered reports of impatient players getting Prime Access on the PC platform since the 2nd wave began and getting in but I haven't seen DE encouraging anyone to do so and there's no guarantee that it would qualify you.
  20. It's pretty typical for games with cross save to activate all achievements/trophies on sign in (and it was fun to proc 600+ achievements when I got that Halo collection again on Steam). Even if Warframe doesn't have that yet I expect it's a quality of life change they will add in a future update.
  21. On the bright side they recently removed MR requirements for story quests so you can speedrun those things without waiting for your MR5 test xD
  22. I think in your case you would be Linking as it sounds like your fresh accounts missed the cutoff date so rather than combining those accounts and their contents with Merging you would be overwriting them with Linking in order to make your PSN progress available through other platforms. Carefully read the news post and the FAQ information in the other thread! https://www.warframe.com/news/cross-platform-save &
  23. My advice based on my own experience with the older Xbox One S is to get an NVMe M.2 SSD and a compatible USB enclosure for it to use as external storage. The mechanical HDD is a considerable bottleneck. No matter whether I had the game installed to the internal HDD (5400rpm) or an external HDD (7200rpm) whenever Warframe cannot access data fast enough it either disconnects from the host (typical loading screen experience) or outright crashes to the Xbox home screen, and it was doing both so frequently it had become a terrible experience on Xbox One for the last few years. But that's all changed since having moved the game to an external SSD. The game can still crash of course but it no longer does it multiple times a session, or even per hour! I can't find my notes I made when I did some quick tests across Void missions and the "airlocks" of the social space to open world zones but a number I do distinctly remember: Void Capture was frequently a 21 second load on HDD and very consistently 7 seconds on the external SSD.
