    I'm tired of these Kogake hate threads.. I'll say it again anyway though.. Kogake is easily dealt with, just shoot them. If they get close, jump onto -anything- treat them like the stalker and stand on a crae. 9/10 will stare dumb founded at you for a second, and in thayt second? SHOOT THEM!

    It's really really really not that hard people, all you need is dodge.

    You're talking to the same people that cried loud enough to get the Bo staff nerfed into oblivion....because they couldn't learn to move away from a melee user to prevent being hit....

    Now you ask them not only to move...but to shoot guns and use the environment to avoid melee users..,

    Give these poor people a break and allow them to cry loud enough to get all melee in the game rendered useless, and change the conclave name to "Call of Ninja Duty" and we're good!

    Would like to join your awesome alliance.

     

    Because you didn't leave me a clan name...I had to snoop through your post history...in hopes to find a clan name. None could be found.

     

    But I did find that you are a 1 man clan looking for an alliance with no interest in dark sectors.

     

    In my OP I did mention we aren't interested in dark sector activity at this point, but that will change if/when DE improves the balance in this aspect of Warframe. 

     

    So if you are totally against the idea of us requesting your clans help in the future concerning Dark Sectors, this may not be your bag.

     

    As for your 1 man clan status, I do not discriminate against those who want to have a small group to call their own....but we would like to know that you have plans to fill that 10 person member cap (in a shadow clan) at the least. This is because Alliances have a member cap of 4000 people. This is a cumulative amount of "spaces" that all the clans in the alliance equate to. With that said a purposely chosen 1 man clan will result in 9 slots of potential lost.

     

    Let me know how you feel about these issues in a private mail if you would like to.

    Find yourself a dedicated team, run with purpose and challenge yourself for fun...try new things. The part about a dedicated team is most important. Working together and communicating using voice comms is very important.

    Remove Melee Channeling From Pvp

    Melee 1.0 was an instant kill fest. The only way to stay alive was to keep moving....not much has changed in 2.0 has it?

     

    Many people even those who didn't care to subject themselves to the broken systems of 1.0  have played the game long enough to "master" the mechanics of movement. Inexperienced players need an edge, those of you "1.0 masters" should really have no issue with these new inexperienced players with q-tips spinning and helicopter blades.. Because...1.0 was nothing but easy kills all around unchecked and unbalanced cheese. The "all mighty 1.0 mastery of evasion mechanics" should easily trump even an auto-lock mod...that mod has an effective range, anticipate it and counter it with your own melee attack...works for me. If anything these easy kill mechanics that you speak of should be something that feels more like home to the masters of 1.0.

     

    1.0 was simply a response to the cries of many, those who wanted to make Warframe a PVP game...it was simply a placebo,  not something that was really taken into deep consideration. 2.0 is just the opposite.

     

    To those who hate on melee in its current state I say:

    So you died to a melee attack...so you die a lot to melee in conclave 2.0...these things happen. Learn to fight fire with fire next time. Melee back when someone is trying to hit you with a stick.

     

    I don't die much in 2.0...as a matter of fact I die least to melee...I die more to falling off the map than melee.

    So I really, honestly have no idea what the big deal is. But I do know that melee must remain a threat above guns, and equal to abilities due to the inherent disposition the player is placed in when they actually take advantage of its full potential, that being melee as the primary weapon in hand.

     

    The real problem I will admit is that "melee only" is more viable than a "guns only" build. This is only due to the directional melee mechanic and coptering.

     

    Having a melee equipped produces mobility that you cannot get without it. But everyone is capable of sticking to their guns while still taking advantage of the mobility mechanics given they have a melee equipped. This is both unfortunate and acceptable....in some ninja way. Ninja's shouldn't need guns to be deadly.

     

    But consider this: 

     

    What if they removed the mobility advantages of melee by removing directional melee and coptering entirely. Then a "melee only" build would be very inferior to a "gun only" build...so the balance would have shifted to guns, which is not ninja at all. This would be just unfortunate and many would find it unacceptable.

     

    So in conclusion, the real problem is mobility...channeling is NOTHING if you can't get close enough to the target...blocking an attack leaves you stuck in place and vulnerable to attack by all angles aside from the blocking direction...sitting duck. You remove the mobility advantage of melee and guns would completely be overpowered because you could easily just tear someone apart before they could walk up to you for melee.

     

    It would simply turn Warframe Conclave into call of duty....but I guess that is what everyone wants?
