  1. I remember Rebecca saying SP is opionnal when it first came out. I always thought it was a bit unnatural for SP not to be the end game. Imo SP was one of the best concept DE did, even if it is really simple it's so fun to play against powerful ennemies when you're OP yourself. With a warframe that can survive, good weapons and mods SP really isn't hard (except solo arbitration) imo, and it's way more fun that OSing everything as it gets old very fast for me. Having a good reason to theorycraft and fully optimize your frames/mods is so good.
  2. Hi, I came back to play the game for the new update and I'm having a blast. As a melee fanboy, my favorite change is the tennokai system. It's just so good. It encourages players to play hybrid melee playstyle which is the most fun I had with melee since starting the game. I have no idea if pure light/heavy attacks builds are better, but I'm never going back to that anyway because I find it so much less fun that hybrid and using 100% of a weapon's potential. Timing heavies is fun, and getting the new mods in the new games modes is very enjoyable for me too. This update is a huge success for me. I see a lot of games disappointing fans over and over again with updates, yet DE is here making the best F2P farming game and improving it with banger updates like this one.
  3. I guess this thread is biased toward wanting bug fixes, but as a casual player I'm more of the opposite opinion. I love warframe, but since I unlocked and optimized all my favorite frames and weapons, I only play on new updates. I have a blast for a few hours and once I got everything I want, I stop playing until the next update. So I priorize updates over fixes. Now, that's debatable if DE should listen to me over the point of view of hardcore warframe players that have to suffer the bugs I don't always see.
  4. It seems to me like a lot of new melee weapons have a gimmick heavy attack. This is very good imo because the hybrid melee gameplay is way more fun that only spamming light attacks or heavy attacks. I even think that hybrid melee should be the general end goal for melee weapons in Warframe. Do you agree? Does anyone else find hybrid melee builds as fun as me? 😄
  5. People telling you it's your fault for not having potatoed every weapon and having inifinite weapon slots are hilarious. Here is what should be done for the randomizer not to be frustrating : - Every weapons in the rotation should be potatoed even if you never owned it, played it or potatoed it. In fact, it might be the occasion to rework potatoes? It's clearly not even noticable when you're end game, yet it's an early game stopper. - The really S#&$ty ones (mk1-gear and early game mr food) should either be removed from the rotation or reworked to be playable. - Every weapons should have an ok default mod build (damage, fire rate, multishot, status corrosive or viral, crit mods). This is the fault of DE forcing us to use those mods in steel path, so now they need to either rework the whole mods system or give it to the randomized weapons. It's pretty wild that hardcore players are telling EVERY casual players that it's their fault if they don't have every weapon optimized, so now they have to suffer a run where they can't have fun and must rely on their allies to complete the mission. Basically, this gamemode highlights the issues the weapons always had with the stats differences and modding system. Only now, you might be forced to play them in steel path. It's obvious DE is gonna do something to allow every players to enjoy this gamemode, but I wonder what they will chose.
  6. Do you have any weapons that you almost always use? Either because it's incredibly powerful, good looking or just feel good to use? Why do you like it so much? Here are mines : Primary : Bubonico. Infinite ammo, shreds anything with primary fire, excellent primer/trash clearer with secondary fire. Acceltra is close second. Secondary : Epitaph. Best primer with primary fire, pocket shotgun that can red crit with secondary fire. Primary fire feels incredibly good to use. No need to reload. Sporelacer kitgun is incredible too. Melee : I used to play almost exclusively Guandao Prime because of how good it looked and how light the stance felt, but I switched to Praedos since the incarnon update and can't look back. The bonus sprint speed in really good, and the hybrid melee gameplay is way, way more fun than only spamming light or heavy attacks. So, what are your favorite weapons?
