Don't get me wrong, Their doing an alright job. And ya got to think too that POE has slots as well you can buy, HOWEVER you really dont need to cause your given enough slots to begin with.
I'm really happy that for the most part in warframe everything is obtainable by grinding, which in all reality if they were to take away the ability to buy warframes/weapons in the cash shop they would get...
"A longer lasting player base"
If you cant pay your way to owning all the frames/weapons and are forced to collect blueprints and resources, the game instantly becomes much more rewarding and instantly has a longer lasting appeal.
Now i know you dont "HAVE" to pay to play the game, but if the option is there..
"People will do it and get bored and move on"
I think i might turn this into a thread to see how much hate/like it gets lol.

OR, they just change all of the current shield / health mods into a flat number and still have them drop O_o.. that would be the easiest and most sensible thing to do.

Eh... I came from path of exile to here and I see how you could compare the two as far as progression, loot, coop all of that
However.. Path of Exile did something that no other f2p game has done which I admire them sooooo much for.
COSMETIC ITEMS ONLY ON CASH SHOP
Path of Exile is an amazing game, from the cash shop to being strictly cosmetic (which means the players are supporters in its most purest form) to the skill tree being one of the best passive skill trees I have yet to see.
Personally I think Warframe could take alot of tips from GGG :)

Rhino. Iron Skin. No damage. No knockdown, no pushback, nothing. Full immunity for damage. Max it out, get Continuity, and boom.
As for weapons, that's up to your playstyle.

I'd Like It To Be So You Can Chose A Specialty. I.E. A Banshee Could Be A "Support", I.E Sonar, And Silence Are 25% More Effective And Cheeper In Energy. Or "Offensive", Sonic Boom And Sound Quake Are 25% More Effective And Cheeper In Enegry. And The Appearance Looks More Badass.
Nice idea!! maby you could have more of one type of warframe.. or maby you could switch between them once you lvl it to 30? idk keep the ideas coming! thats a nice one.

For now, ladies and gentlemen, this is a far reaching goal. Let's be honest here, this would require a lot of work. As much as we would like this to come true there are far more pressing things to address like mission types, environments, new frames, new enemies, and the oh-so-fun bugs to iron out.
But let's not forget his grand idea.
I'm happy you think its a grand idea! We should definitely keep this in mind for the future for sure after the game is more polished :D

Adding more strength to already powerful warframes, me gusta. It would also be interesting if you can switch between your basic and evolved frames also, so you can adjust to missions' objectives.
It might not happen but who knows.
Evolving warframe tree -> can revert but all evolution choices are final? If there was a time for the white room to test on dummies with the new/upgraded powers I think this would be the time.
I dig both of these ideas lol :)

Sorry mate, but I do not agree with this. While it takes atleast 48+ hours to actually get to rank 2 to use Rhino (because of the 24 hour wait after you take the tests) certain warframes and weapons have to be set to a higher level because what would the point in having levels if you had access to everything from the beginning?
Eventually down the road there will probably be warframes out there that take rank 10! Chew on that for a while lol

Ya it would be interesting to see how they would fit it in if it were to ever happen.. which honestly I think would an amazingly awesome addition that could add 100's more hours to the game.. Evolving them would just be so rewarding!

The main ones you want are flow (so you can get at least 4 rhino skins in) and continuity (skin lasts longer). Max out rhino skin asap and yeah thats it...I been using rhino for ages now and all I ever use is rhino skin. Ranked up it lasts 15 sec, then add 4 sec onto that (due to continuity), so 19 sec and I can use it 4 times in a battle (100% power from flow mod). GG you can also get the power saving mod so you can spam skin more, but 76 seconds of invulnerability is probably enough....
What he said, its insta-god mode. Also run with a Fragor Tri Element 40%+ Atk speed atleast and you will wreck anything, and everything... and never die lol

Has this ever been an idea? Perhaps once you get to level 30 in a Warframe you can "Evolve, Morph, Tier" it into a better/cooler looking Warframe with better base stats and level that up to 30 again!
Anyone see this idea for the future maby?

I believe (may be wrong though) that trading will be implemented in the next major update and it will only be possible between clan members.
Only resources (rubedo, neurodes and all that stuff) will be tradeable so it's a good thing. No trading mods and/or other blatant stuff that can break the progression curve...only resources to help low level clannies craft the much desired frame/weapon/helmet.
Usually new players will use the same frame and weapons for a while and that will put off some of them...now this will give some incentive for them to play together with other people and will also offer them some variety regarding weapons and frames since they are more easily crafted with the possibility of trading/giving resources.
If done correctly this trading/gifting system may prove to be a good thing.
Ya i guess i wouldnt mind resource trading... but still >.> it seems a bit excessive when the game is about farming for things such as warframes weapons.. ect...

Clan trading? seriously? ... isnt the game about grinding for the mods you want? lol.. trading would somewhat break this imo >.>

Ash's defining skill is most definitely blade storm at the moment, all of his other skills really need to be buffed.

Once update 8 hits I will definitely be hitting the reset button to experience the game at a more complete state!
PLUS I get that plat back to make better decisions now that I've played the game for a while ^_^

Cosmetic Cash Shop Only

Now I know this won't happen and I hate to compare games / developers but hear me out.
GGG Recently released Path of Exile, for those who have not played this game the cash shop is "Strictly Cosmetic" aside from slots you can buy (However you do not need these slots because your given more than enough to begin with) and there doing awesome! Infact 183 people bought there diamond pack priced at 1000$ before the game was even released!
When I say "Strictly Cosmetic" I mean that the players support the game in its purest form by buying items from the cash shop that have no bonuses whats so ever aside from "Hey look at me I support this game" which in itself its very rewarding
Warframe does have a similar system to its cash shop! Everything for the most part can be found via blueprints and resources can be found to construct these blueprints, so really the only thing you technically have to buy if you want to grind for everything is slots!
But what if that was not the case. What if you took away the ability to buy Warframes and Weapons with platinum and replaced it with "Strictly Cosmetic Items" what would you get?
"A Longer Lasting, More Dedicated, Driven, Rewarded Community"
Think about it, if your forced to grind for your gear and you know everyone else is in the same boat with no easy way out, "Everyone" is gonna have the drive to find that group doing those runs to get your gear, putting that much more reward into the time you spend when you finally get those blueprints done and you have your shiny new warframe!
Now I know you don't HAVE to buy anything from the cash shop to enjoy the game.
However there are alot of people who will! And what do you think will happen to the majority of them?
"They will buy everything, get bored, and move on"
In other words lowering the player base of the game eventually IMO
Now in closing I know this is a touchy subject I'm sure, It is just a thought and feedback, critiquing, or critism is encouraged, but stay friendly.
Or maby throw in some Ideas on what some cosmetic items could be!
