I had a dream about warframe. In it we reached the final story. I don't remember the details of how our tenno got to a destroyed orbiter. We have a new orbiter segment in our hands and its broken. Just as we are. The operator is beaten, its suit torn. The Lotus is quiet and Ordis is no more. His warframe lays behind us with its chest open.
The operator breathes heavily. Their breaths are short and heavy. Before installing this segment below the pod we always sit on the operator starts talking to itself. As soon as they are done talking a portal opens and the drifter appears with the parts to fix the segment.
They work together to fix it with void energy. The segment is alive. It radiates a warm blue light. The drifter looks at the operator and asks if they are ready. The operator looks back at ordis and says their farewell. Together they install the segment. All remaining lights begin to dim as the pod starts to quickly glow. They climb on. For a second there's only darkness then a bright light together with a sound of space warping and then. Silence again.
The silence is broken by laughter and cheering. We are back at the zariman second before the warp. The operator and drifter look at each other. They say the same thing "this time we'll fight back". The warp happens and they begin their final battle against the man in the wall.
