    What Frost is good right now to worth picking the other frames that you mentioned is that he can deploy multiple Snow Globe, which made him a top tier pick for Arbitration Excavation for speedrun reward rotations. You can block explosive by being proactive in a meta that reward mass killing/CC enemies and have proper loadout. Sure, his kit needs to be modernized but from how I am playing him, he's top tier in the intended content that he can do with great effectiveness (also props for his kit to be very resistant against Nullifier and Arbi Drones).

    I couldn't care much for stats as he was never meant to be even close to Inaros health or Valkyr armor anyway but one thing to note: 200 energy won't do much when I can just run Primed Flow anyway UNLESS his energy capacity is like Wisp: 300. (Actually, forgot that Frost Prime energy is 300 at level 30, my bad lel.)

    Passive: Vazarin and healing Magus exist so it made that passive redundant.

    1: UNLESS it do something more than just damage, damage that don't scale in WF are useless.

    2: 25% DR is like...1.33x EHP? Trinity 4 give out 75% DR which translate to 4x EHP and what you suggested isn't even remotely close to being usable. Assuming that it scales it strength, it takes 300% strength to be a worse Trinity when Trinity herself can do it easier with 150% strength? Idk how to feel about that.

    3: Increase radius so that it piss off people who wanted a Snow Globe big enough to to not get screwed by Nullifiers and enemies who can phased through it?

    4: Again, flat damage that don't scale are useless.

    This is what I'm running on Frost:

     

    First. the 2nd ability is not supposed to be on the same level as blessing it is just a little cushion.

    Second. He needs the stat change he will not be intros level tanky with the stat change. 

    Third. Ability strength will boost his one damage.

    Fourth. The passive is not redundant new players dont have focus or arcanes.

  3. I am a frost main with a love for the icy boi but he well is not in a great spot in terms of warframe right now and before you all call me stupid let me explain. 

    In terms of usability he can do defense style missions well but that's it but I here you say (well a frame shouldn't be good at everything that's op) and (but he's the best defense frame) my response limbo and garra. Limbo and garra are better defensive frames. The reason why there better defensive frames is because snow globe does not block all damage explosives go through it and snow globe is his only good ability now the rest of his kit got affected by power creep. His 1 and 2 are some of the worst abilities in the game his 3 is his best ability but it needs some work and his 4 is above average. Frost has stats that oppose his play style why on earth is he a sheild tank. With 300 armour that does not benefit shields? He even has the WORST prime in the game he gains 25 shield and a D polarity. Now how would I change Frost.

    New passive: killing frozen enemy's give frost 10 health.

    New 1: Frost launches a explosive icicle that has a explosive radius of 7 meters 500 damage at max rank

    New 2: frost freezes the air around him to create a icy coating on his and nearby allies bodies giving 25% damage resistance for 30 seconds at max rank.

    Revised 3: base radius increased by 45% can now be picked up to have a mobile bubble mobile bubble cant absorb other snow globes.

    Revised 4: same avalanche but frozen enemy's who are killed deal increased cold damage in a aoe 250 at max rank.

    Years ago we added Orange and Red Critical Damage numbers when you land a Critical with greater than 100%. For years, Status being greater than 100% has done nothing except guarantee Status - which is good, just not an added incentive to go over 100%. We are changing that this update. 

     

    When you hit a Status Chance greater than 100%, a single damage instance will be able to create two Status Effects. This means if you have a Shot with 200% Status Chance modded with both Blast and Toxin Damage, that single shot will result in both Status Effects!

     

    It is worth noting we are fixing a UI inconsistency that is ‘Display Only’. Right now the Arsenal shows Status Chance affected by Multishot, which makes reading the new >100% value confusing. For example, the Arsenal might say 120% but really the Status Chance is 80%. We don’t have Multishot affect any Critical Stats (Chance or Multiplier), so we are fixing this display inconsistency. Multishot now has its own Stat. 


     

    Shotguns have a unique Role here based on a very patch-work history with how they interact with Status Chance. A Shotgun that shoots 99% Status Chance would give you 35% (roughly) status per pellet. 100% Status Gives you 100% Status per pellet. This huge jump in performance happens with just a 1% gain - why? Well, to answer that we have to look at our choice to make what the UI conveys reality. It would feel broken to shoot a Shotgun with 100% Status and not see a perfect spread of Effects. In reality, to make Status consistent we have to treat Shotguns as a special case.
     

    Shotguns as a special case means we have buffed the Status Chance of all Shotguns by x3 or greater. The UI now behaves to show the reality that you are determining Status Chance per pellet. 

     

    Stacking Status Effects:

     

    But wait - THERE’S MORE! In addition to being able to achieve two Status Effects on a single shot with >100% Status,  we are also adding new meaning if you get a duplicate Status Effect on an enemy overall.

     

    This section will outline exactly what this means for each Status type, including information on how multiple Status Effects behaved with stacking prior to this Hotfix:
     

     

    Type

    Stacking Behaviour when a duplicate Status Effect Occurs: 

    Slash

    Each Slash Status has its own duration, but now we only show a maximum of 10 damage numbers in the HUD, damage is unaffected, but reducing how many damage events we show helps with performance

    Impact

    Repeat single-target Impact Status Effects will escalate the efficacy of the Impact Status (removed previous change of adding Ragdoll as maximum Stagger consequence).

    Puncture

    The first Puncture Status Effect has an enemy deal 30% less Damage. Subsequent Puncture Status add +5% weakening, leading to up to 75% (capped). Each Puncture Status has a duration of 6 Seconds.

    Cold

    The first Cold Status Effect deals 25% slow. Subsequent Cold Status Effects deal +5% slow for a total of 70% slow at 10 procs. Each Cold Status has a duration of 6 seconds.

    Heat

    No Change.

    Toxin

    See Slash, plus the base duration of a Toxin Status Effect now matches Slash for 6 seconds.

    Electric

    AoE Electric Damage that is part of the Status Effect can now reoccur while the target is still under the stun animation of another Electric Status Effect.

    Blast

    Grants the Blast Status Effect a single target. Blast Status reduces enemy accuracy by 30% base. Subsequent Blast Status Effects add +5% inaccuracy for  for 75% total at 10 stacks. Each Blast Status has a 6 second Duration.

    Corrosive

    The first Corrosive Status Effect strips 26% Armor. Subsequent Corrosive Status Effects strip 6% more Armor, leading up to 80% Armor removal.

    Each Corrosive Status Effect lasts 8 seconds.
    Note: Corrosive was the only Status with infinite Duration and 100% Efficacy toward a defensive stat. This was necessary to some based on how Armor Scaled. We feel our rebalancing efforts need a differently behaving Corrosive Proc to balance out all Status overall. 

    Radiation

    The first Radiation Status Effect has an enemy deal 100% Damage to allies. Subsequent Radiation Status adds +50% damage, leading to up to 550% (capped). Each Radiation Status Effect has a duration of 12 seconds.

    Magnetic

    New Status Effect entirely: enhanced Damage! First Magnetic Status Effect deals 100% additional Shield damage, subsequent Magnetic Status add +25% for a total of 325% (capped). Enemies under a Magnetic Status Effect cannot regenerate Shields. Magnetic Status Duration is now 6 seconds.

    Viral

    New Status Effect entirely: enhanced Damage! First Viral Status Effect deals 100% additional Health damage, subsequent Viral Status add +25% for a total of 325% (capped).
    Note: Before Viral would halve a target’s health pool and simply refresh the duration. Now it deals 2x Damage to Health, and can scale up to 4.5x Damage on repeat Status Effects. 

    Gas

    The base duration of a Gas Status Effect now matches Slash for 6 seconds. No longer does AoE with forced Poison Status Effect (resulting in Poison DoT for enemies in radius), instead it does AoE DoT Gas damage around the target.


    Players - aka Tenno - can only have a Maximum of 1 Stack on them - you cannot receive Stacked Status Effects as a player from enemies, fear not!

    Why: The inclusion of enhanced or different stacking of Duplicate Status Effects is one to refresh the appeal of Status.

    In addition, we’ve removed 0.25x Multiplier for Elemental Status Effects, meaning all Elemental Status Effects are 4x more likely.


    Why: Critical has long been king - and while we are leaving Critical as is, our goal is to bring Status into the Arsenals in a new light for all Primary, Secondary, and Melee weapons.Our long-term goal with this change is to build upon this series of changes to eventually allow Status to impact bigger threats like Liches and Eidolons.

    I personally did not like the shotgun changes but please buff the Kuva drakgoon it is worse then the normal drakgoon it may have better crit and mag and status but it has 240 less base damage it is my favorite weapon please just give it 11% status and have it equal its predecessor in damage cause we dont have to old 100% status shotgun cause that was powerful but please buf my kuva drakgoon.

    That's not the problem it is the fact that you cant proc as much any more and the base shotgun status chance boost that was promised did not come thru.

    But it is with all 4 duel stats on my kuva drakgoon I get about 35% status chance a pellet with old shotgun status system I would have 100% status on every pellet.

    That was not the lie I. The dev stream talking about these changes Steve said we where buffing the base shotgun status chance and did that happen he also said that this was not a nerf but it was a old 100% status shotgun made a proc for every pellet now cant even reach that number.

  8. The big update just hit console and well DE said shotgun status was getting a boost cause of the changes to 100% status and well that was a lie my kuva Drakgoon has only 9% base status chance less the Tigris Prime which only has 11% WTH. 

    In conclusion I'm mad and upset cause I loved 100% status shotguns they where my favorite thing but that's now gone. I would have been fine with the changes if they boosted base status but they didn't.

  9. My favorite frame is frost and I would change him by. 

    Removing his 1 and putting his 2 there.

    New 2 that provides a slippery floor under Frost slowing enemies 30% and increase your speed 30%.

    Pick up snow globe and can run with it.

    Keep 4 the same

    And increase primes stats To

    Armour 300,  Health 125, Sheild 175, Energy 200, Mobility 0.95

    And that's what I would do to my boi frost.

    I'm not trying to get them in a day heck 3 even I'm just not wanting to play frames I dont enjoy and take 5 days to get one gun.

    Plus the point of a VIDEO GAME is to have fun "crAZy I KnOW".

    There are much better options then my boi. Excal and Rhino are two that come to mind. Frost has no good sustainable damage abilities he has avalanche which is a awesome ability but is very expensive and for a caster frame he doesn't have a good energy pool.

    and frost has never really needed a rework: I've never seen anyone complain about Frost. as long as you stack your globes, he can defend just about any position, and his other powers aren't too bad either.

    He does need two change tho I wanna pick up snow globe and run with it and his one is useless.

  13. I main frost and what I notice he needs is a little more health and a Crapton more energy.

    Like he should have 125 health and 200 energy at base.

    Also I just want to pick up snow globe and run with it.

  14. I fell that there doing the shotgun status changes wrong, What I feel they should do is make it where if you have 50% status 50% of the pellets proc. Cause when I watched the stream and saw the graph I sow a big dip am I the only one upset by this?
