also here's a link to it on imgur:http://imgur.com/a/PeR40#cwifYjX

    and thanks once again

edit: Can we have more events like these please? I really liked going through all the submissions and checking out the creative minds of others on here.

  2. To be fair folks,

There are several different categories of weapons that break up into a more focused set of weapons.

    for example:

Our rifle category can be separated into 3 different sets:

-full auto (Braton, grakata, gorgon, etc.)

    -Burst (Hind, Burston)

    -Semi-automatic (the latron)

    and the shotguns as well

    -Full auto = boar

    -Tight spread = Hek

    - double barrel = tigris

and so on and so forth

What i believe the OP is getting at is that our Close-quarters melee weapons consist of 2 variants, which is

    - boxing = ankyros and furax

    - kick boxing = kogake and obex

now granted those are 4 close quarters melee weapons but they're of the same 2 categories. Now the introduction of a new set of claw-like weapons could mean a whole world of difference. first off you don't exactly punch with claws and a heel kick (which the kick boxing weapon animations show) would be counter productive towards the weapons actual use. They'd have to rework the character animations to a more proper use of said weapons. I do sympathize with those who may argue against the idea to some degree, but I feel we could use a different set of melee weapons at least.

  3. I noticed that when i was trading, there was a set amount of times i could do so. Does that kiosk have a set amount of uses regardless of who uses it? Is it the player that has a limit to the amount of times he can trade per day? and finally, If i invest in more kiosks in my dojo, would that allow for more trades per day (If in fact it is the console and not the players that are limited)?

sorry, so many questions this one has :(

  4. this idea reminds me of huxley, and that ship sank faaaast. Same in conan the barbarian and fallen earth. The minute you step out into that open world, you are FUBAR. The problem here is that players who wander the open world will be consistently killed by higher ranking players->killing the new players experience with the game->causing them to leave->making the higher ranked player bored since there's no noobies to kill(making them leave as well) and so on and so forth. I do agree that the idea would be awesome, but seeing the other games go down due to this, it doesn't seem like a safe bet.

    edited: phrasing

  5. Not that i don't get what you're saying, but as a player who has experienced this event myself, i can't really say that I even needed any of them at the pod to begin with. Majority of the wave comes from that door and to be honest, you get a nice helping of enemies that leak out through the sides (granted not as large a portion of that at the populated door way near the elevator lift).

  6. We fear what we do not know Tenno, but when the unknown becomes known, it'll just be another target for our guns.

I've set up a small team to investigate the rumors, recording equipment on hand. If we're lucky enough to return, we'll share our findings. If no word is received from our journey, the unknown will remain so and the fear will be real.

    Wish us luck

  7. Has DE considered doing a trading system for warframe? Do you think it'd be a good thing?

I strongly believe it'd be a great idea and I'm not talking in-game, I'm talking about through steam.

That's right, implementing the trading and marketing of items through steam, think about how useful it'd be. It could practically benefit all of us. They could probably find a way to make it so they can get a slice of what the player sells through the market place, meaning the players and the developers benefited through the sale. As for the trading? I think it's self explanatory.

Only problem i can see is the fact that there aren't really any extremely "rare" items that would sell effectively. What I mean is, I feel for a market place to work: There should be plenty of items at the buyers/traders disposal, not the quantity of the item itself, but a wider variety (More Weapons, Helmets, Mods, Sentinels... Everything). I'm not saying they should start getting whacky irrelevant equipment (TF2 I'm looking at you), but more of what belongs here in warframe (Kick-&#! futuristic stuff).

tl;dr (hopefully not) Would it be a good idea for Warframe to start cashing in for Steam Marketplace/Trading system?

  8. thank goodness, i was getting fed up with the black screen coming up after the cutscenes. Also sometimes if the black screen doesn't pop up, sometimes the Brightness/contrast would drop like crazy to the point where i only see the lights from Muzzle flashes and faint reflections of the world and character models
