I completely understand that all these are supposed to be no-no’s so that you can get 10 reactant, but honestly I’ve seen all of these behaviors many times and still gotten the reactant every time no problem. Just yesterday someone was nuking everything on a defense, one of the guys in chat got angry about it, and yet we still got all our reactant by wave 3 out of 5 so it just made him look dumb. I know this is just my experience but I think some of these “unwritten rules” are BS and unnecessary. Just my 2 cents.

This would be such a huge QOL improvement. This game literally just hides information from the player sometimes. A casual player that never checks the wiki would never know that most of the stances have combos with forced slash procs.

I don't need to play with all of the frames, but I'd damn like to because it's fun. If you don't like that fine, but I do. Everything above one frame is not a waste of time, I assume you don't do anything but starchart missions if you think that.
I love how you assume I'm in a hurry to be "elite/meta" because I want to use my things to the fullest potential. I honestly don't even know what that means, how is wanting to use a new frame with all of its mods=elite/meta? Also, It's not "trash," if I enjoy using it I enjoy using it, who are you to tell me I shouldn't?
You're not special for using 2 frames somehow, and you have no reason to act like someone else is ridiculous because they don't limit themselves unnecessarily. Plus, I make somewhere around 300p a week on average, why would I not spend that on something I want to play with?
I'm not selling everything to credits or ducats, that's just flat out dumb.

This is just not true. You need to do some research on aura mods if you think steel charge is the only one worth while. It largely depends on the frame, but steel charge is not always going to be your best option.

Not kidding, I never bought a single potato and still have 40+ BP's each even though i've used them on 1/3rd of my gear (thats about 100 potatoes slotted in weapons)
How is this happening for you? Is it different on pc? In 6 months I’ve seen maybe 5 invasions with potatoes as rewards on ps4. They are incredibly hard to come by for me.

Been here about 6 months and it is quite overwhelming.
This game is very addicting and I’ll just say I’m grateful to have a full time job and a SO that doesn’t like to watch me play video games. I can only play an hour or so a day on weekdays under those conditions but if she wasn’t around to keep me in check I could definitely see myself falling into addiction territory. Only logged about 300 hours in those 6 months so I’m think I’m safe for now.

I have a couple of thoughts on this. While you’re right, the game is awful at explaining things and doing research is pretty much mandatory, it doesn’t take nearly as long as you’re claiming to do a quick google search on where something drops or how a mechanic works.
That being said, warframe is a really weird game and it only appeals to a certain type of player. If you’re not that certain type of player you will likely hate this game, just like every friend of mine I’ve ever tried to get into it. So it may just be that you’re not one of those people that loves this game, and that’s okay too.

That has literally nothing to do with what I said. He was implying that the only reason you play in a group is because you expect to get carried.
At least I think that’s what he was saying, it was very poorly worded and hard to understand so maybe I’m confused.

I started warframe about 6 months ago and it’s my favorite game in a VERY long time. I will note that I did a lot of research beforehand so I knew what to expect (I cannot imagine going into this game blind, the NPE does need to be addressed in regards to explaining things) but the reputation gates have not bothered me once, mostly because there is SO MUCH STUFF to do in this game as a new player. I’ve been trying to get Cetus maxed for weeks now and I can’t just because I keep getting distracted by other stuff I want to do. If you enjoy the game it shouldn’t matter that much to wait on some of those gated items. I’ve just now started maxing my second syndicate and I just run the daily missions and then go do other stuff I’d honestly rather be doing anyway, because those level 20-30 missions are boring, and in a week or so I’ll have my new mods/weapons that I want. Really not a big deal but this is just my personal opinion.
Edit: I feel like I should add that I completely understand why people don’t want them, but I just don’t feel like this is a game breaking issue either way you stand on it. Even if the gates were removed I’d probably still take it slow just because grinding syndicates is boring 🤷♂️

I second this. Build diversity on guns is non-existent at the moment and that makes modding for guns just plain boring. There are plenty of ways DE could fix this but more corrupted mods with stat trade offs that really make you think about which one to select would be a great start.

No, it’s not always the case. Relics and invasions are the only time I run volt or see a lot of volts because people are just trying to rush through mindless content for the reward. Lighting up level 20s just isn’t my idea of fun.
You won’t see that in arbitration’s or any mission where speed isn’t the goal. But grind is a huge part of this game and blitzing through missions makes boring grind go by faster.

Dude, you were cracking relics. There’s a volt in every mission bc people wanna get that S#&$ done fast. It’s a mindless low level mission to get a prime part/Forma, no one is cracking relics to enjoy the mission.

As I play casually, I don't need more than one frame, one set of weapons, and will NEVER reach MR10...
To many other games out there to play, and with PS5 coming, this will be back burned soon.
So if Baro keeps bringing the poo, I will NOT be buying anything.
Literally what makes this game so great is the diversity of frames and weapons and you only want 1 of each?? Every frame has its own unique play style, I’d highly recommend trying more than 1, otherwise you won’t get the full experience of the game.

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion but they are objectively one of the most rewarding things you can do in the game. Now that SS is done it is the ONLY way to get arcanes. That alone makes them very rewarding. I can’t wait for the day I’m able to do them so I can finally start getting arcanes.
You just keep saying the wildest S#&$ on here with NOTHING to back it up. Still waiting to hear how gauss is a bad warframe btw.
