  1. Thank you for the hotfix! For next time, would you be able to look into:

    Needs Fixing:

    • Inviting other people to your squad will result in multiple "invitation sent" messages to appear in chat, in random amounts. Not sure if this means it sends multiple invites or not, but it clutters chat logs.
    • Certain spots for ANY conservation animals in the Orb Vallis are broken, either taking you in broken paths before disappearing or the icon appearing on the map but not being an actual call mark. One such example is in the Coolant Reservoir and I've noticed numerous bugs when getting Bolarolas in the Ustara Crater.
    • Defection missions on the Grineer Galleon tileset (Saturn, Caracol?) will sometimes spawn a Kavor that will remain stationary in a corner and will not move with the rest of the group. Waiting for them to die and reviving will not fix this, so you are almost guaranteed a Kavor death right at the start of the mission. (
    • Galvanized "CO" mods (Shot, Aptitude, Savvy) not properly applying their bonuses.
    • Hacking an Ambulas will sometimes result in the camera angles to remain in the "Hacking" position, which greatly interferes will controls. (https://medal.tv/clips/67556704/d1337Ae09WCK?invite=cr-MSxvZWcsMjUyMTQyMTUs)

    Possible Changes:

    • Would Nekros be able to get a counter that keeps track of his Shadows' health bars more easily? It's a bit of a hassle to interrupt your fighting just to scroll over to one Shadow and check to see if you need to heal them.
    • Soul Punch buffs?
    • "Toggle Prime Details" option to be added to more Warframe skins (maybe like Valkyr Gersemi?)

  2. Thank you for the update! And thank you to the previously fixed Excalibur Umbra Transference. You do not understand how much smoother it is to actually use him now with just that change alone.

That being said, for next time, can you please look at:

    Fixes:

    • Possible script errors related to the Oxylus?

    • Certain spots of the Kubrodon marks for conservation in the Orb Vallis are broken, either taking you in broken paths before disappearing or the icon appearing on the map but not being an actual call mark. One such example is close to the Enrichment Labs.

Instilling fear to enemies to make them run away and clear the area for you is stupid? Put this in any MMORPG and it would be the most wanted CC to bring. Armor strip itself is a sprinkle on top since the biggest purpose of Terrify is pushing enemies away from you and lighten up the combat pressure especially when you need to revive someone or defense objective is on low health and enemies are everywhere

What is the good CC in your view then?

I didn't consider this when I was looking at the ability initially, and I didn't really see the benefit of it causing enemies to run away because I often run a slowing ability alongside Nekros, which....is also flawed to think since enemies would still be going away from you.

This is a bad take on my end for Terrify, honestly. My reasoning for saying that is because I'm always tunnel-visioned in builds to focus on Terrify's armor strip and the incorrect logic that Terrify's CC is asynchronous with Nekros' Desecrate since the enemies go out of Nekros' Desecrate range (incorrect logic when Ability Range and slows exist).

Depends on how you see it. Having 7 enemies to distract the horde isn't useless and seeing how the priority on shadows from past change, you can easily have 7 heavy units ranging from heavy gunner to bombards when fighting grineer. That's one nice powerhouse compared to one enemy although 500% is a bit too much, 50% - 100% is more acceptable

My initial thoughts on Shadows of the Dead are another case of me tunnel-visioning abilities as being solely damage dealers, since I constantly undervalue the benefits of having minions to distract enemies. I will say though that I do often gripe that having to run both Despoil and Shield of Shadows a majority of the time does hinder mod building a bit, and the fact Shadow maintenance is tricky due to the depleting health bars.

  4. Calling all Equinox mains, can you sell Equinox to me? I've been thinking about giving her a try, but I'm not really sure what she does. I'm confused by the whole two forms concept and I feel like she's a frame you need to know well in order to play. Is she fun to play? What kind of builds does she run?

Hmm... I subsumed Thermal Sunder on my Nekros, running around with Amalgam Ripkas for the 100% gore. Is kinda fun, enemies die to fire > gets split in half for more loot chances > infinite energy and health > repeat. I play him more actively then just a loot bot.

When it comes to his minions... I agree that some changes would be nice.

Lower or Remove Nullifier Crewman from the summon priority list. I don't care about the defenses they provide, They block the view, block your bullets, block your allies bullets, lowest dps cause they use a sniper, if you get a prova nully crewman, congratz now you have a running bubble man that does everything that would annoy you. I actively avoid killing nullies with my shield build simply because I know if I'm annoyed by them, it'll annoy my teammates too.

Ice eximus units falls in the same category as Nullies.

Eventually you'll end up with nothing but ancients in your spawns so if possible a limit to what kind of units you get would be nice.

Some QoL is obviously necessary, seeing how Nyx got hers. I'm sure someone in DE is thinking of our bone boi.

I'm thinking that's just were my troubles are lying then. I really want to try to come up with a build that makes Nekros more than just a loot boot, but I'm not having much luck compared to everyone else I see.

Nekros' shadows are a thing to help him fill his full on support role with massive amounts of eximus auras, null bubbles and so on.

I legitimately did not know Shadows could retain Eximus auras, so that's news to me.

With all the replies that have been coming in, I'm thinking maybe I've been interpreting Nekros all wrong then, rather than he's in a bad spot. I didn't mean to make this post to dismiss Nekros entirely, and I'm thinking maybe I'm too focused on desiring Shadows to be a damage dealing ability without thinking about or realizing the purpose it serves.

That being said, maybe I should focus more on HOW I could build Nekros rather than focus on one sole method of playing as him. Currently, I'm running a Gloom based support build with a bit of tankiness, so Health Conversion/Equilibrium, Synth Mod Set on Companion and high Strength. I was hoping I could make him a bit more offensive by utilizing the very high Strength from it and spamming Terrify's multiplicative armor strip, but now I'm thinking I could make some improvements. So just to ask:

    1. Is running Shield of Shadows absolutely necessary? Part of me feels like with high Strength Gloom for the lifesteal and CC I can afford to take away a bit of survivability and maybe add something else like more Power Strength, but I'm really afraid of taking away that 90% max DR when all I have for survivability is Health Conversion (I guess it would proc very often with Health Orbs dropping all the time?)
    2. How effective is Soul Punch with high strength, around the 250% range? My biggest turn offs with it is that it only applies to single targets and it's Impact damage of all things, but it would be really, really nice to have another method of healing my Shadows for management and maybe that can satisfy my desire to deal damage with Nekros a bit. On the other hand though, I'm not sure if all that Power Strength would better benefit using Terrify, since the armor strip is multiplicative and the CC is turned into something to keep enemies off of Nekros while keeping them in Desecrate range thanks to Gloom's slow.

He's more than just spawning minions

Oh, I am absolutely aware this, don't get me wrong. It's just the buffs to Nyx in that department gives Nekros another thing he's not very good at.

I should probably explain why I think Nekros is "not engaging" to me.

Yes, Soul Punch is a good CC to knock enemies, but it's locked to a single target and you need to position yourself right to make it efficient, when I could have just shot it with my gun. The passive could potentially be really good, but it knocks away the enemy you want to kill to heal your Shadows, which makes Shadow management hard and the 25% execute doesn't really help much either.

Terrify I feel like doesn't do anything at all. The CC is stupid and the armor strip isn't noticeable even when you spam the ability. I also don't feel like I should waste a mod slot to make a bad ability good, since the 60% is actually really helpful for a slow but it also means I have to run another augment.

Desecrate is undeniably amazing, but it's a toggle ability so it's literally just press and done. You don't think about it while it is up and you get free Health/Energy Orbs plus resources. You're also expected to run Despoil in any given build, so it's actually hindering in the sense that you lose an automatic mod slot.

Shadows of the Dead, while I absolutely love as an ability, I feel is only really beneficial with Shield of Shadows on. Yes, the shadows aren't meant to replace you in fighting. Yes, the 90% DR is amazing and recasting to heal your shadows is not that big of a deal and keeps you engaged. But take away Shield of Shadows for a moment. What exactly does the ability do? You summon 7 dead enemies with depleting health bars, whose damage output is probably not noticeable unless you were doing something like Steel Path. I'm not sure if I'm hundred percent correct on this, but it feels like you're stuck between two possibilities with this ability: either stick on Shield of Shadows to make the ability usable and restrict yet another mod slot, or remove it and be stuck with a useless ultimate.

Nekros has such an issue with his abilities in that, while not COMPLETELY useless, he relies a lot on his augments to give him momentum and it restricts a lot of what he can do and what do build for. I'm not saying he's useless, and he most certainly has his perks, I just wish I didn't feel so useless playing as him.

  8. I'm not sure why this would even come up, but the Nyx tweaks, especially to Mind Control, make me think that Nekros isn't in a good spot right now. I'm not sure how impactful the changes would be, but it feels like Nekros is gonna have the worst minion spawns among the characters that can "spawn minions". Nyx is getting some much needed changes to Mind Control, Wukong has Celestial Twin, Equinox has Duality, Nekros has....90% DR that only comes from an augment and he HAS to manage them.

Am I wrong about this? I've been having such a hard time making Nekros engaging to play recently and I'm kinda bummed out, he's my favorite Warframe :(

Fixed an issue where Client players teleport to Excalibur Umbra when using Transference.

    • (Might still happen in rare circumstances where multiple people are using their operator at the same time, work is ongoing)

    *angelic choir noises*

Oh my gosh, yes, thank you!

  10. Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing more of these things, even though the only ones I own are the Ki'teer Sekhara and the Vitus Emblem.

One thing I'd like to see is a sekhara that acts as a sort of digital extension for a shoulder pauldron. Imagine a mixture of Chroma Dynasty's shoulder pads and the Sister Ephemeras, and it could pulse or "breathe" similar to an LED keyboard.

I'm...rather surprised these aren't seen more often, either as small add-on's to Deluxe collections or just small animations added to badges for Operations. The right ones could really spruce up fashion frame in an unexpected way.

EDIT: Or for example an effect that can be added to an existing Emblem. The Glassmaker Sekhara, giving your Warframe a "glass like" sheen

  11. If you don't mind me asking for clarification, what exactly do you need help with?

Are you having trouble finding a specific goal to reach? An item? A weapon?

Are you stuck at a certain point in the game? Perhaps something on the Star Chart?

Are you trying to find something to do that ISN'T playing Warframe?

  12. Thank you for the update, and the hot fixes. Thank you for fixing the Dark Split Sword as well, that's been a really big one. Very happy with the update so far.

For next time, can you please look at:

    Fixes:

    • Excalibur Umbra Transference. When transferring as the Operator, if you go some distance away from Umbra and return to him, you will appear at Umbra's previous location rather than the Operator's new location. This makes it extremely clunky to use Transference as Excalibur Umbra. This also only occurs when you are NOT the host in a squad.
    • Possible script errors related to the Oxylus?
    • Inviting other people to your squad will result in multiple of the invitation sent messages to appear in the textbox, in random amounts. Not sure if this means it sends multiple invites or not.
    • Certain spots of the Kubrodon marks for conservation in the Orb Vallis are broken, either taking you in broken paths before disappearing or the icon appearing on the map but not being an actual call mark. One such example is close to the Enrichment Labs.
    • K-Drive ragdoll physics work differently in the Plains of Eidolons than in other locations.

    Changes:

    • Vauban Prime being compatible with the Phased Skin, similar to how Rhino Prime is compatible with his Rubedo skin
    • Would you be willing to extend some "Toggle Prime Details" to regular skins or deluxe skins, such as Valkyr Gersemi?
    • Prisma Twin Grakatas when X)

  13. Exactly what the title says above! I'm looking to expand my arsenal a bit, but this time, I looking for something a little more on the fun side rather than something that is absolutely meta. What do you guys think?

I was thinking about building up the Lex Prime or the Aklex Prime because I love the noises they make but I want to hear what you guys think :)

Yes. Mecha set effect is considered to be from the companion, not from your weapon. So all the enemies the status spread to are considered to be under Synth Decon effects. You can test this in simulacrum and see a noticeable increase in health orbs drop.

I'm a sucker for Mecha set and been using it since it came out.

And as an extra, you can also level up your kubrow/predasite really fast with the mecha set + heavy dot status.

As for precept, I use precept that the effect is a bit more consistent, If I use it at all. Some of the precept is severely crippled by pet's AI.

Thank you so much for the help, tested it out in the Simulacrum and it indeed seemed like it worked :D

  15. I gotcha. I realized that the effects I'm referring to don't cover all of the Synth Set, so I think I have this right now. I'll change the title too.

So when a Companion marks an enemy with the Mecha Set, target dies and spreads Status Effects to enemies in the radius, those enemies ARE NOT affected by Synth Deconstruct's first effect?

I figured that since the Mecha Set belongs to the Companion itself the Status Effects would be coming from them, but now that I think about it, the Status you're spreading to the enemies come from your weapons, not the companions.

i don't understand your question. i don't think you meant to say Synth Set, since Synth Set is ab-

oh, are you asking if the Companion will get assist credit on all of those Enemies? no, i don't think that Mecha Set won't get the Companion credit.

Yes, that's what I'm asking for. So status applied by the Mecha set DO NOT meet the conditions for the Synth mod?

    That's a darn shame if that's the case :(

  17. So let's say I have a Kubrow with both mod sets installed. A marked target from the Mecha mod set is killed and spreads Status Effects to enemies within the radius. Are those enemies now under Synth Deconstruct's effect?

Also, as a bonus question, is it absolutely necessary I run the precepts on Kubrows? So for the Sunika Kubrow, is it advised that I run both Savagery or Unleashed?
