Can you give me any insight as to if/when AkVasto Prime can be a thing? Will Baro (considering he is bringing vaulted relics in his rotations now) bring the AkVasto Prime relic soon? Are there plans for it to be introduced? Can I get any info on that? Is there someone I could ask or request for AkVasto Prime to be introduced? Can you help me get this request in front of the proper individuals?

Thank you for all you do.

I would love an AkVasto Prime!

I suspect DE plans to release the Lodestar armor set.

I truly hope this is not the case. Fashion frame is NOT a real endgame. It started as a meme because there is NO real endgame.

I was very disappointed with the syandana for an 800 day reward.

We all started playing this game to blow stuff up, not to look pretty.

The 1000 day milestone is an incredibly significant reward, especially for veterans. In my opinion, it should be a warframe.

We already have weapons (2 melee, 1 primary, and 1 secondary) locked behind the login rewards. A frame would be nuts. Especially an unreleased frame (only way to get it) or worse, a released frame (basically a free frame slot).

I can actually see a companion being released. Say, a Kubrow or Kavat. It would be highly exclusive, but you could do genetic imprints and sell at a premium on the trade chat. Or a Sentinel with unsual mechanics and an unusual kick-ass weapon. A Sentient Sentinel???

I agree that an armor set is is utterly distasteful. I'm still wondering if I will even max rank my Primed Vigor. I have a maxed non-Prime Vigor and I never use it. Never. Use. It.

Something unusual and cool might be a new 5 card mod set that does something that can only truly be leveraged by players with High MR who could truly take advantage of it.

    Just my 2 cents.

  3. Reward Login items would be excluded from trades alone on the basis that they come preinstalled with the catalyst and a free weapon slot. Those weapons are rewards for maintaining an active relationship with the game. Why should they be tradeable?

  4. I thought about the idea of an "Elite" sortie, and here was what I thought:

    1. 6 missions instead of 3.
    2. Stacking challenges, each mission has it in new challenge while keeping the previous challenge(s).
    3. Last mission is always an assassination of the sortie leader.

I like the idea of storing currency that can be used to pay for a specific reward, but I feel like that would invite serious grinding.

I mainly do sorties for access to higher difficulty missions (when not doing Kuva Floods) and the chances at rare things like boosters, potatoes and a legendary core.

I would make the elite sortie appear once per week with the requirement that you completed the regular sortie at least once within the week. As for rewards, each week would have a guaranteed reward (not random). Rewards similar to what might be found in rare resource chests, like boosters, potatoes/adapter, etc.

    It might look something like:

    1. Mobile Defense. Challenge: Augmented Armor/Shields. Level 40-50.
    2. Sabotage. Challenge: Environmental Hazard (Burning/Freezing/Radiation/Magnetic), plus previous challenge. Level 50-60.
    3. Exterminate. Challenge: Eximus Stronghold, plus previous challenges. Level 60-70.
    4. Defense/Interception/Excavation/Survival (Kuva). Challenge: Reduced Energy, plus previous challenges. Level 70-80.
    5. Rescue/Spy. Challenge: Offensive Enhancement (IPS/Elemental Damage boost), plus previous challenges. Level 80-90.
    6. Assassination. Challenge: Weapon Type Restriction, plus previous challenges. Level 90-100 (boss 110-120 dependent on squad member quantity).
  5. I know DE has done extensive work on Vlad's power kit. I don't expect them to see this and have a light flicker on over their heads where they say, "oh, why didn't I think of that".

A vampire frame is interesting, but Vlad doesn't seem much like a Vampyr to me, much less an Eidolon.

Anyway, this is how I would make an Eidolon Frame

    Frame Concept Name: Qliphoth

Concept: Embodiment of the powers of Tridolon; Terry, Garry, and Harry

Passive: Enemies felled by any of Qliphoth's abilities have a 10% chance to spawn an allied Vomvalyst that protects you with it's life.

    Power One: Pulse

Qliphoth fires a tactical energy weapon (DMG is equal IPS). Cannot be cast in mid-air or while reloading.

    A. Tap the ability to release a low recoil burst fire horizontal spread that follows your targeting recticule.

Damage affected by power strength. Length of shot affected by duration. Activation range affected by range. Cost affected by duration and efficiency. High chance of knockdown.

    B. Charge shot to fire and orb into the air that upon reaching maximum charge, releases homing projectiles.

Damage affected by power strength. Charge rate affected by duration. Homing range affected by range. Cost affected by duration and efficiency. High chance of knockdown.

    Power Two: Enrage

Qliphoth raises his leg and stomps channeling the powers of the void. An energy wave is released across the environment knocking down each for that come in contact with it. Qliphoth is refunded a flat percentage of energy for each enemy affected, as well as receives a flat percentage power increase for each affected enemy. Cannot be cast in mid-air or while reloading.

Damage affected by power strength. Travel speed affected by duration (shorter duration, faster travel speed). Range affected by range. Cost affected by efficiency. Forced knockdown.

Power bonus not affected by mods and is discharged on next ability cast.

Decreased efficiency means the ability costs more to cast so more energy per affected enemy will be refunded.

    Power Three: Intimidate

Qliphoth releases a challenging shout taunting all enemies within range. Damage to health received releases AoE of void damage ragdolling enemies and giving them all status effects currently on Qliphoth. Cannot be cast in mid-air or while reloading.

Any allied vomvalysts present will link to Qliphoth taking the damage instead (Qliphoth keeps the statuses). Should one receive enough damage to fall, it will take an ethereal form and dash at the nearest foe before detonating in a heavy radiation AoE.

Damage of void AoE affected by power strength. Duration of the ability affectedby duration. Distance affected by range. Cost efficiency. 100% chance of afflicting statuses. Vomvalysts abilities are not affected by mods.

    Power Four: Evolution

Qliphoth taps into Eidolon adaptability and protects himself in a husk like orb, similar to the Gantulyst's. While in this orb, all damage from sources outside the orb is negated, and Qliphoth has all previous status effects removed from him. Cannot be cast in mid-air or while reloading. Movement speed is decreased by half. Sprinting, jumping and parkour are disabled while the husk is active.

Ability is affected by range, duration, and efficiency. Husk is immune to damage and is not affected by nullification bubbles or auras. Enemies within the Husk can still harm Qliphoth.

All other abilities are now augmented:

    1. Pulse now launches a ball of light into the air that produces multiple rays of energy that seek enemy positions as it rotates. Places the ray has touched erupt with blast damage.

    2. The shockwave generated by Enrage now causes pillars of void energy to erupt from beneath surviving foes who were affected by the wave.

    3. Intimidate now generates AoE pulses from outside the husk that knockback standing enemies and ragdolls prone enemies. Enemies are afflicted with random status effects. Additionally, any allied vomvalysts are protected from damage while connected to the husk like a vomvalyst bloom.

Qliphoth's passive is also augmented as now whenever an enemy felled by one of his augmented abilities has a 3% chance to spawn a Battalyst for melee type enemies, and a Conculyst for ranged enemies.

Just my idea. Feedback is appreciated.

  6. I do find it annoying that we cannot report players for idling and leaching off the efforts of others. Especially Sorties. Besides Tridolon and Kuva Flood, Sorties are high level content with good rewards requiring either high level coordination or some over powered players cleaning house.

Some dude checked our during an Axi interception and nearly messed up a run where three rare/gold items dropped. Couldn't report them for going AFK in the middle of the match.

Nah man dream bigger. Let's get Alad V (post Shadow Debt) as our mission handler.

Um, Mutalist Alad V is disturbed and disturbing, lol. Honestly I'm surprised that we haven't seen an infested Zanuka yet! I'm good on him. I have seen players make calls for Vay Help to be our mission handler.

I think it would be awesome to have Nef Anyone handle Invasions when you side with Corpus and Vay Hek when you side with Grineer.

  8. Now that we have seen previews for the New War, I know that I am not among the minority who would like to see a certain person's constant dialogue during missions removed from Gameplay.

I am suggesting Ordis for getting general mission operations, Konzu for Cetus bounties, and it already looks like bounties on Venus will be narrated by Eudico. I'm tired of the synthesized fraud.

    Addendum:

I  think it would be awesome to have Nef Anyo/Alad V handle Invasions when you side with Corpus and Vay Hek when you side  with Grineer.

  9. I'm stunned at the lack of response to this announcement! DE has been doing an amazing job of updating and delivering content. I doubt that there is any other game on the market that updates with this frequency or the quality and quantity within updates.

More so, I'm impressed with the console team getting this update to certification so quickly.

    Kudos, for real, DE!

    The real players appreciate you!

You and others have made this point. You are correct.
Though poorly communicated, my point was that Nidus' heal isn't effective enough for OTHERS for me to ever want to use it. I have a Hema. I can lifesteal to keep myself alive 90% of the time I'm actually in danger, and the other 10%, I can pop the ult. I just can't help anyone else. It's why I never play Rhino. They're selfish tanks with a damage buff and CC. Not really my thing... I say as a Frost Prime main of four years...

Not trying to be funny, but you might want to edit the original post to clarify. People are already trying to say Oberon needs a rework, and that OBVIOUSLY was not the point you were trying to make.

  11. This post started as a comparison between Nidus and Oberon and specifically their ability to heal, and has degenerated into people saying Oberon either does or does not need a rework. Let's stay on topic.

To be frank, I have and use a Nidus, and I primarily main my Oberon Prime. In terms of survivability, I find that Nidus needs to not have a party of people trying to poach kills (Ember, Banshee, Volt, Saryn, et. al) with room clearing abilities to build up enough stacks to reliably cast Ravenous. As for Oberon, between Hunter's Adrenaline/Rage, Steel Fiber, Holy Ground, Phoenix Renewal, and Arcane Guardian, I am damn near invincible, and if I actually die, Phoenix Renewal revives me, and I probably have full energy.

My point is, that I properly modded my Oberon for high damage reduction with energy and health regen feeding each other. Heck, I used to rock Equilibrium. My build is way more efficient.

Nidus is an Infested Juggernaut, meant to plow through foes and become more powerful in doing so, like a perpetual engine. Oberon is based on the idea of a Paladin. Decent, but not amazing heals. The ability to crowd control foes. The ability to protect allies. He does all of these and does them well.

My point is that comparing them is simply wrong. Different archetypes, different play styles.

  12. I'm a huge Saryn fan. Only frame I use more often is Oberon. Right now, my Saryn normally ends up doing 3rd place mission damage but 1st place in kills. Those Spores are vicious. I almost never use Toxic Lash or Miasma. Between Regenerative Molt, Rage & Hunter's Adrenaline, and Rejuvenate, I have unlimited health and energy. My Torid and the Pox spread my disease so virulently even Ebola would blush.

Escalating damage on Spores with unlimited duration means I can finally fully invest in Fleeting Expertise. Corrosive on Spores means that I have less modding to do against armored Infested.

    Yes. YES. YES!

  13. I like the idea, but think it should be streamlined. We can use the formula for most special/prime weapons and do:

    • Barrel: determines damage type/status chance (IPS balance and or elemental)
    • Stock: determines weapon type/magazine capacity (charge, semi, burst, full auto, beam, launcher)
    • Reciever: determines fire rate/crit rate

I think the gilding process is a bit annoying but it works. Like amps use the prism and zaws use the blade type, I think it should be determined by the stock, since that detrmines weapon type in this scheme.

That makes sense.. But.. Deleting the trade tab was never a intention..

The AH is more geared to players who dislike spending their time in Trade chat..

Also with the AH you get more gameplay and not spend so much time spamming trade chat and searching for that person whos buying or selling a item..

Or the possibility their attention is not to your WTS ad in trade chat.. Due to Dyslexia?.. How many times have you been messaged by someone who WTB but you posted WTB? How many times have you been messaged by someone who WTS but you posted WTS?

Its not all about Dyslexia either.. Sometimes the trade chat moves so fast its hard to keep up with the fresh posts even using scrolling.. Yes there are filters for the chat, but what if your looking to buy or sell multiple things?

A player marketplace would be a easier management system..

I agree that an AH could make things easier, but it would likely be limited to a premium AH (plat only) and cut into the trade dynamics. I have friends who bought one Prime access and then farmed after that. Years later, they have never bought plat again, but have thousands due to aggressive farming and trading. An AH would cut into their margins (with clearly listed prices of competition) and probably have them crying foul.

If both an AH and trade existed (open market v black market), they would definitely affect each other, and not always for the betterment of the community. #economics

  15. An auction house is more limited than a player to player trade. Unless you coded this thing to accept anything for anything, it would be less flexible than a trade. For example, let's say that you have mastered all non-Sentinal companions except for one. No matter how many random incubations you've attempted, RNGesus is playing keep-away and you are at wits end.

With no direct player trade, you are forced to bid or outright buy imprints using the specific currency that the seller requested. Likely always platinum.  If that player would be more interested in a super rare prime part that you have a double of, they couldn't let you know. You couldn't discuss it.

An AH is more limited than trades, and if an AH was made to take into account trading one thing for another, it would likely break the game.

  16. The meta is the meta, lol. You can't change it much without overhauling some granular things. Just like each Warframe has its own strengths and weaknesses, so does each weapon and faction, and damage type, thematically. That said, I always preferred to solo Orokin Defense (back when it was T3 even before T4) using my trusted Nyx and a Torid modded for Radiation damage. Between Chaos for mass confusion, Radiation to catch stragglers who missed the initial cast, and mind controlling a Corrupted Ancient for heals to myself and the pod, I'd easily solo to 40 waves. Keep in mind, this is pre-Eximus, pre-Corrupted Nullifier, and pre-Corrupted Bombard. I didn't always have a dedicated squad to go into these with, so I'd make due with what was at hand.
