Then you find out they've made something like it to someone else and when you confront them their answer is "it's not the same its better". Do you see now why it's like trust is broken?
But Excal Prime already sucked.

They would be right.
The exception being when you're solo. -
So much for solo survival Ember.
WoF range combined w/ Firequake catching enemies as they came into range was what was great.
You killed it's range and energy drain, the two things that it was actually useful for later on.If you wanted to nerf it clearing out huge areas in low level missions, you could have just removed it's damage and made it a utility skill while buffing her other abilities to have targeted damage. That way it retains usefulness across all levels.

You do not 'main' in Warframe. Ever.
Really, this.
You lose nothing for swapping frames for a few missions or leveling a frame to 30, so the only time you need to "main" one is if you're doing raids or teralyst hunting with the same group consistently and people want you to fill the same role. Just play whatever you're enjoying at the time.

Valkyr is fun to have because I get to watch the action happen. I can solo almost all the content pretty easily so it's down to style points and who doesn't mess things up. Valkyr.

Frost is one of the most useful frames in every tier of content, and tops your list overall even lategame.

so what I'm trying to ask is
(a)Should I grind plat and buy the primes frames,or get them from void relics?
(b)is it worth getting the primed variants of hard-to-farm frames like Saryn and ash instead of grinding and testing their normal versions first? (Saryn prime is pretty cheap too, only 60-70 plat,as seen in warframe.market)
(a) Both. Grind appropriate relics, sell any waste drops and whatever you hit first parts or plat do that.
(b) Regular variants give mastery for ranking them up, plus it's good to go through getting them so you understand how to help other newer players get them. What it comes down to is how much you value your time/plat, and only you can really answer that.

That's life.

Warframe is as tedious as you make it.
There are plenty of easily craftable endgame-viable weapons that you can spend little time on.

If you think about it though, it is a lot easier to get some decent mods than it is to get the Soma or Scindo primes.
It's really not.
For buying: Weapon sets are conveniently packaged together for sale by other players, and cost less overall than a set of good mods. If new and buying unranked mods, you need endo and credits to rank them up while building a weapon or two generally requires a fairly low amount of resources (with the exception of some newer weapons requiring alert-based material).
For farming: Some of the core mods only drop from alerts (time constraint) and challenge rooms (game knowledge/skill/teamwork requirement), and require a decent amount of endo and credits to level while weapon parts (assuming you have the relics) can be mindlessly farmed and generally require a low amount of resources. Secondary upside is that along the way you get other parts to be turned into plat or ducats making either buying relics or outright buying the weapon set easy.
Ranking up weapons can be done dirt poor and unoptimized in 1-2 runs, getting the credits and endo to level up a set of mods can't be done anywhere near as fast, and in almost all situations the mods are what give our gear it's power.

Honestly, mods made our weapons what they are lategame and they aren't being handed those.

But keeping snow, christmas lights, a snowman and a winter themed skin for Mirage is fine?
Only one of those can be seen by other players. Liset decorations are fine.

I'd rather they fixed the garbage matchmaking.
Right, that's something everyone agrees on but it doesn't really justify a thread, does it?
Almost all of the content in the game is doable solo, and most of it very easily.

I'd rather Hok be an actual weaponsmith instead of just an assembly line after we've made the parts, letting us buy parts HE'S made for reputation instead of selling blueprints for us to make.
-
Seems like you picked a poorly located position TBH.
Almost all the bodies of water have spots where you can avoid them except for the occasional wanderer.
-
The current parts seem reflective of the Ostron's lifestyle.
I think could be neat to get, for example, the heavy weapons you want from another faction/planet once more areas developed.
-
But...it is easy.

Wouldn't be seasonal if it was year round.

Zephyr's wind shield is immune to any non-melee or explosive attacks from the Grineer, and acts as a mobile shield for vaults and drones. Best overall IMO since energy is plentiful in PoE and you can snipe down the Grineer gunships in a couple shots.
It's nice to have another place where she's useful again.

Nobody should get downed at all if you use your operator's void mode. It negates all of the involved damage except for the Teralyst's blast when you destroy a weak point.
The mechanics are really simple once you figure them out, but it's hard to do solo because of the number of Vombalysts that get spawned.
- Burn the shield and keep it down
- Pop the joints and then the head
- Use high base damage/crit weapons preferably using Puncture or Radiation damage
- Use operator void mode to avoid any Teralyst attacks
- Operator void mode stops Vombalysts charging you if you use it right after popping them
- Flee after destroying a weakpoint to a safe distance then return to get your core/loot
- The Teralyst teleports away after each phase, hunt it down again
- Avoid the blood/fluid the Teralyst leaves behind after being injured by staying in front of it.
- Kill any Vombalysts that latch on to the Teralyst and try to regen it
- In the final phase you can attack the Teralyst anywhere to do damage
Doing it w/ the lures to capture it instead is more involved, but if you're just looking to kill it all it takes is a bit of time. The only damage you should take is the occasional shot from a Vombalyst when firing at the Teralyst's joints, though if you're using the right weaponry/frame you'll only need to shoot a few times per phase.
Edit: Oh, and your frame is immune to all damage when you're in operator mode unless you have an ability running. If you have to take damage (such as if you ran out of void mode charge in the middle of a rain attack) do it in operator mode to negate it and just jump back out of your frame once it puts you in.

Even with that being said, the problem is making a single area that's a reasonable challenge to both new and veteran players is extremely far-fetched to begin with.
Not really: The entire game does it, with only a bit of enemy variety and number changes.

Focus has been around for two years now, plenty of these people have been in game for quite a while with it existing... Me? I'm an old, old hand, so I'm at home in pretty much any changing landscape of the game now, but these young'uns? Nah, can't take change.
Imagine my horror when I found out how few people have seen a Trinity these days.

IMO that mod needs to go away because it's mandatory for any companion, and you are at a disadvantage without it. All of the other mods are useful, but not mandatory.
So lets give people even less to look forward to in their beginner farming.
Great. Just great.
-
Jesus, what did you people do before focus?...
Maybe those team energy restore blueprints will get some much needed work now.

Allow vacuum on Kubrows and Kavats, don't attach it to the player.
Have to have a decent reason to keep them alive.
