  1. The only threat I've felt so far in PoE was during carpet bombings while trying to revive teammates that weren't smart enough to avoid them and shoot the gunboats. Any decently ranged weapon can take them out, and a team can wipe them almost as soon as they appear.

If anything, PoE's enemies need to be harder. Easy at low levels because of it's position and so any players can experience it, but with a rough scaling so things actually provide a threat once you're facing higher level enemies. I don't entirely mean a damage/hp change either, though that would help. I think higher level TUSK need to employ their explosives and fire a LOT more to force people to move around the battlefield properly. I mean it's an open space with little to worry about damaging so the grineer should be going ham on the ordinance.

No, no it has in fact been said that it was top tier in this thread several times.

People have said that it's capable of oneshotting endgame enemies, clearing decently and having inbuilt CC.

You've said things could clear faster, people have agreed. It's not Naramon levels of derp, but it's still good.

You've said this is somehow unacceptable.

People now think you're an idiot.

    Objectively.

I LIKE the silva and aegis, But it objectively is not top tier. You can think that's irony but I've been objective the whole damn time.

None of us have said it's top tier.

We've said it's not bad/good and doesn't need additional benefits when it's endgame viable while there are weapons that aren't.

    As in, not trash.

I don't know about you but I think it is top tier. They aren't wanting top tier, they are wanting Naramon + atterax = OP it seems.

    I agree.

Like I said, some people seem to think that having a choice of weapon shouldn't matter at all and to have all their stats match up while being able to oneshot the whole game.

Soon we won't even have to control our warframes, we can just sit back and watch the game on autopilot.

The silva and aegis are in fact fun. That's why i want them to be good.

They are good. They can clear endgame level content in a reasonable amount of time, and in a mission they're oneshot viable.

Excuse me for wanting a MR12 weapon to be top tier.

    There it is.

Not just viable, not just usable in all content, not just thematic

    "top tier"

Thinking like this is why problems appear in the first place.

Do you know what a coup de gras is son?

    Alright, three things.

    1. Spell it properly.

    2. It's rarely needed for large maces and axes, and was far more common for enemies wounded by gunfire or weapons that don't cause deathblows, like rapiers, daggers and lances.

    3. Don't "son", son.

It DOES fit the theming and playstyle of a sword and shield.

    No, it doesn't.

It would be fitting for the rapiers and parrying daggers, but most of them are already decent.

Shields get block bonuses, two neat augments, and can still kill things. They're fine.

Yeah it killed them alright, but that still took some time. It is better than I thought it was, but I still don't think that's top tier. I'll give it viable, but not ideal for an MR12 requirement.

So it did the job/is viable, but not as well as something else so it needs changes?

Shall we give all weapons identical stats? Can't have anything outperforming.

  9. Remove vacuum completely, add in loot retrieval by all pets and sentinels so they have a visual cue for picking stuff up.

Makes it so players can't blast through an area and magically get all the loot there without touching it as well.

In a game with drops that matter you should have to at least interact with the drops A BIT.

  10. "They have something I don't, wahhhhhh"

    Please.

The rewards SHOULD matter, and not be thrown at new players. You want it? Keep playing.

As for future additions, I agree that the time spent to get them means that they shouldn't be specifics, but they need to still be significant enough to matter to the players. My suggestion is enough plat to buy/trade for a price averaged weapon/warframe.
