  1. While I don't find Rhino to be weak by any stretch, he's also not a tank.

He's a CC machine. Iron Skin means knockdown immunity when you need it, and Iron Shrapnel guarantees you don't have a 5 HP remaining skin on when you run into a rocket.

There are two good options for change if you want an energy-based damage tank (we already have armor-based tanks):

    1. Buff his augments:

Let Piercing Roar apply a debuff instead of a piercing proc so it lasts longer.

Make Ironclad Charge add LAYERS of Iron Skin instead of adding armor.

    2. Change how Iron Skin works:

A flat damage shield doesn't really do much lategame unless it's scaling is brought through the roof.

But that's boring and would make it OP for PvP.

Instead of a shield with a flat HP number, make Iron Skin a % negation based on where the damage is coming from (90-100% front, lower on sides, nothing on back) and make it a duration or toggle.

AKA make Rhino an actual charging rhino, using his 1 to plow into enemies constantly and knock them on their ! while being vulnerable from his back and sides. Make him always be charging from the front while goring his way through everything and stomping around once he's in the middle of the pack.

    Make him an actual Rhino.

  2. Storyline-wise, after being back for this long and the rise of the syndicates, maybe the Tenno have finally decided to think for themselves and become individuals.

Maybe the goal of individual peace is now more important to some of us than galactic peace.

Or maybe we're just fooling ourselves.

  3. The score is even and he's still giving away vastly better rewards. Yeah totally seems fair and not rigged at all.

You're comparing the rewards given by an obnoxiously rich con artist/preacher and the rewards given by an exile who's spent all his resources on finding a cure.

They aren't even because they shouldn't be.

  4. The event is on till the 20th, so you'll have more than enough time to get your points back where you want them before it ends.

Go with whatever mission rewards you want for the first few days and then push your points in the direction you want later.

Doing it that way actually represents how things ARE ingame, with the two sides bribing you for help.

  5. If all players got whatever they picked, it wouldn't feel like you're actually getting anything done.

It would just feel like an more complex alert mission.

Being given the gun of the winner means people can actually feel like they won or lost. It's a good thing.

Edit: Read more of the thread that came before my post. There's obviously no point in discussing this with you.
