    DE the current extent of the content in your game is grind, grind and more grind. This is perfectly fine I am not asking you to change that but it does come with a big big issue. The simple fact that this game has no replayability. Once you’ve finished a grind and got an item there is no point to go back and do it again. You can do it again but you have no incentive to do so and all though there is a lot to grind eventually people reach the point where there is nothing left to grind. 

    The product of this is something that already happens. You have players that love this game and want to play it but they have nothing to do so they get off it and come back around when ever a new update drops, do the grind and then leave again. This is because there is no endgame in this game. 

    Before continuing I would like it to be clear that what I constitute as an endgame is something that requires skill and is replayable and when I refer to endgame content that is what I am talking about. Steel path, archon hunts or sp circuit is late game content but does not fit the category of needing skill nor is it replayable - once the grind is done there no reason to go back to it - so neither count as end game. 

    In addition you seem to not care or have any intention of adding an endgame and this is an issue you know exist as you have responded to it in the past but when asked if your going to bring back raids or some form of a replacement that would fill the gap we have where an endgame should be your response is always “we have no intention of doing that at this time.” update after update you contune to give us new content that doesn’t actually solve any of the games issues and it makes me feel like you are taking advantage of your fan base and that you don’t actually care about us or what we want to see in the game. Of course I can’t speak for other people but I have seen other people express the same if not similar feeling when talking about this or related content. 


    I don’t want to just sit here and complain about not having any endgame so I will now also give you a suggestion as to what I think the endgame could look like in warframe. Of course I am just one person so take my suggestion as you will but I also encourage other people who agree with me to replay with their own suggestions for an endgame. 

    Make it so ever year we get what I’m going to refer to as a new chapter. These chapters can run for 8-9 months giving us a 3-4 month down period. These chapters will include new story/lore and most importantly a new limited time game mode. Now this game mode doesn’t need to be special it can just be recycled content which is something you already do anyway. Conjunction survival is just survival with special rewards and mirror defence is just void flood and mobile defence put together. And the new story/lore also doesn’t need to be anything special either it could just be like what you used to do with nightwave. 

    However I would like to see multiply stages to this game mods. For example you could have a railjack section and necromech section and then a warframe section. It doesn’t have to be in that order nor does it have to be that exact three but I would recommend that three since both railjack and Necromechs are really cool concepts that would be really good for it and aren’t really used for anything right now. And to be clear by different sections I do not mean like how sorties and archon hunts have three missions in a row I mean one long mission with different objectives like what corpus railjack missions are already like. 

    This game mode also needs to be timed. There’s no point of doing this with out this feature. And you should add unique new exclusive cosmetics and only cosmetics that can not be bought with plat or traded as rewards for completing the mission with in a set time. These rewards would obviously be a one time thing and some should be easier to get and some should be hard to get so you really have to mintmax and work hard to get the best time and get the final cosmetic which is where the skill requirement comes from. 

    This is also why they need to be cosmetic as making it anything else would hurt players that won’t be able to get the best times as they might miss out on some potential meta item that would really improve they game but cosmetics won’t effect the game that way and won’t hurt lower levelled players if they can’t get them. And this items must be exclusive to this game mode as it give players something to work towards and let’s them show off their hard work by wearing the cosmetic like a trophy. 

    After 2+ years you could bring these cosmetics back into the game in the nightwave or something similar but it shouldn’t be readded to the game faster then 2 years after so you don’t rob people from being able to show off their achievement. And a new one of these game modes should be released each year with completely new cosmetics each time. No recycled cosmetics. 

    Their should also be a leader board visible in game that also shows your best time so even after you have gotten all the cosmetics - if your good enough to get them all - you can still compete with others for the best time overall or just compete with yourself to beat your own personal best which adds the replayability factor. 

    You could also add a vendor where you could buy stuff with a resource collected from this game mode much like the recent pitty systems we have been given. In this vendor you could have hard to get items like arcane energise or stuff that isn’t in the game like maybe vaulted relics or exodia contagion or past cosmetics from nightwave or old chapters (but again cosmetics should not be readded to the game till at least two years after it’s initial release). This would be good as it also gives newer players or maybe just not as god players a who can’t get the best times to get the top cosmetics a chance to play this mode and get some good stuff out of it. 


    my other suggestion was that you could also incorporate nightwave into it and have the story for this chapter being told through nightwave kinda like what we have had in the past and I also think nightwave should be changed so we only have new cosmetics in the rewards and the have old retuning cosmetics in the nightwave story for sale this would also give more remove in the nightwave for useful things like more warframe slots/ weapons slots you could also have like two sections to these chapters each with their own nightwaves if you wanted to connect them. 


    if any of what I’ve suggested sounds familiar that’s because it is. It’s pretty much what most other MMO’s do. Anyway that’s my suggestion please replay with any other suggestions.

    we have enough grind, so No thank you.  i hate to be forced to play something to get the loot i want. veilbreaker for example

    One of the fastest and Cheapest movement abilities in the game. The argument of Tidal surge getting hung on things is invalid because all dashes get hung on terrain. Yes, it's hard to control but the ease of use is dependent on player skill. This is useful in any open train map and during Exploiter Orb boss fight.

    Invulnerable while dashing is Useful and so is the status immunity from the Augment. Sadly it is bugged and doesn't do the thing it's supposed to do.

    True tidal surge is useful in Exploiter orb, but his low HP and his useless high Shield (for shield gating) are not. Take Gauss for example you are immortal, immune to knockdowns and have better Dash.

    Wukong heals and Moves quickly

    Hydroid does damage.

    The argument is that it's damage slow. If you could reliably use  Corrosive barrage with it, undertow kills quickly. The problem is they don't work together all because of the difference in their radius. Forcing you to have a 190% range just to have them interact properly. Costing you power strength or three mod slots just to force the interaction to work.

    invulnerability is useless if the drawbacks are to high. and that Turtle mode has many drawbacks. but you can show me how can defeat a kuva lich rank 5 with only your abilities.

    By then my Hydroid is Sitting at Two Amber shards with 50% cast speed reduction and 3 Red shards for 30% more Power strength. Unairu focus School for full stripping enemies and Anomoly for grouping.

    What I'm trying to say is that beyond a certain point you have the tools. A line needs to be draw when you begin talking about how effective a warfare is when it comes to content.

    The last Node on the Start Chart and the Last Node of steel path are two completely different points of scaling and progression.

    Say I'm at the end of Steel Path. To say it's a meme build and I had to invest to much to get those results when everyone has access to those tools if they invested the time.

    So either you have those tools or you don't.

    I am not interested, how you are playing hydroid. 99%of the Playerbase will probably disagree with you that hydroid is fine, because his abilities are not suited  for the current endgame content anymore.

    Oh and hydroid is a tool, too. And nobody needs a trash tool, if someone can have better tools.

    I think a scaling dodge ability is quite easy to create. We take xakus dodge ability, scale it and cap it with charges (baruuk, Nova), a resource pool(ember, citrine, Gauss) or  only time (Mesa, gara). You can choose what you want.

    Oh and a no to status immunity and life steal. that is still op.

     

    You still have not answered my question why do I need riptide if tempest barrage has a slow effect?

    Why a cool down for KF if you can combine it with an extra resource pool like baruuks desert wind?

    As far as the basic Star Chart, 250% Strength Tentacle Swarm will one-shot every none heavy enemy on the initial summon which for me is plenty to get the job done.
     

    So your point is hydroid's cc abilities are good DPS abilities against the weakest enemies in the game..................seriously, are you kidding 😂 me? 

    Against Starchart enemies you can use gyre, walk through them and everything is dead regardless if there are eximus or not. So why do I need cc abilities against one shots

    This feedback section works through comparison with other abilities. So let's compare.

    Hydroid's undertow vs Grendel's Feast

    Both abilities disintegrates enemies.

    Hydroid is invincible, but that's it. an absolute turtle mode. I am not amused 

    Grendel can run & shoot, gets extra Armor and is using his enemies as an extra energy pool for his other abilities.

     

    Hydroid's tentacles vs khora's strangle dome

    Both abilities ragdolls enemies and loots them.

    Hydroid can ragdoll 20 enemies max, khora with one dome 26 enemies, with two 52. 

    I am killing ragdolled enemies with khora's whipclaw faster and more energy efficient, than hydroid with all his meme build abilities together 

     

    You say someone should use helminth to fill the gaps of hydroid, but what even has hydroid. So he needs a rework and not tweak

  6. Too many overpowered effects in the abilities with to much forced synergies.

     

    The passive.

    A "drench" Status ailment is nonsense as passive. some frames have already such an effect sevagoth, Garuda, Nova, yareli. The call it marked and it is an effect of one ability. Not all. Seriously overpowered. Sorry, but that is a no go. choose one ability but not all.

     

    Tempest barrage and riptide.

    I like yarelis riptide more, but ok names can change.

    First question:your tempest barrage ist a slowing rain. So it simulates an underwater drowning effect. I think that is more of an mermaid ability than a pirate one. Yareli will be happy about it, but I don't think it suits hydroid.

    second more important question: if I can completely stop enemies through your riptides undertow, why should I slow them through your tempest barrage?

    Your riptide is at the end a limbo rift mechanic. Do you need slow on limbo?

     

    Ocean blessing:

    A90% DMG reduction ability, immune to status procs and lifesteal in one ability.... Your drench Status is really too versatile and overpowered.

    A Water body has in my opinion not a DMG reduction but dodge ability like xaku or baruuks 1. ability elude.

     

    Kraken

    Lol, Are you seroius?? a weapon with a true DMG stat. That will be the first in the whole game.

    You know that through your passive you always drench enemies, so you don't need your other abilities to drench enemies to get your pointless 500% buff.

    oh and exalted melee weapons normally don't work with the combo counter.

     

    You only wanted to make him op. Sorry but these ideas are boring to play.

    Ocean blessing active, kraken active, You don't need more for a barruk with gloom.

    That sadly is the what the community believes. "Sit there and do nothing." For me it's a channel Buff, Knock down or Heal(If I am Running Curative).

    If I was Facing a line of Eximus Tidal Surge lets me approach and Single them out ( Ragdolling the Weak enemies away), Get under them With under tow, and Finnally Swarm boosted by Undertow.

    While swarm will not kill them It will break their overboard and cost me Zero Ammo. When they ragdoll, I'll do the same rotation away from them so swarm will drop them for me to shoot and kill.

    Undertow used to be that death puddle back when it paused status effects on enemies cause them to have infinite duration while in Undertow and Still do damage. They fixed that big a long time ago I personally don't use it to kill.

    Undertow is also tool to Drop flailing enemies. Something I think only I do. Because even if Tentacle Swarm has 40 Meter Radius, in Undertow the most it can have is 6 meter Radius unless you hold to cast to override that.

    I agree it is slow as hell, if you don't spam tidal surge enough.(Joke) I don't use it to kill. Might use it for a moment to type in char too.

    I really don't care about what is meta at all. I Never have. I was actually shocked that my weapons Got incarnon. I know they are Kinda Meta now but I don't think they used to be (Torid and Atamos). Now if they will un-nerf Attica that'd be great or Prime it, Incarnon or something.

    While everyone else is farming out the new shinies from updates I'm trying to figure out how to get my favorite bad weapons to perform in Steel Path. (Akmagnus)

    I still don't care about the passive at all even said that in the main post. For me the hold to cast has been his passive. Yes, know people hate it but that's par for the course at this point. I don't understand why. It does not hinder your shooting or movement in any way like other abilities. You are trading 1-2 Seconds of unhindered gameplay to double the duration of Tempest Barrage or Double the Radius of Tentacle swarm.

    I'll admit I stopped using Pilfering Swaem after they stopped it from scaling with power Strength (That sweet 5x Loots). Now I just Tidal Surge enemies into Strangle Dome.

    For me Tempest Barrage and Swarm have been the "I need less people shooting a me" buttons because I'm Deathly allergic to bullets. Tempest Barrage take care of the things over there while I deal with the things over here with Swarm.

    I love the Idea of it doing bonus damage to or stripping overguard! Make the augment do that instead of Corrosive and remove the ragdoll.

    That I agree with he doesn't need a new kit he just really just need the abilities to have a avenue to do different things. I can't speak on Inaros cause I've only played him in Diviri.

    I saw a post on Reddit earlier about giving a Fixed number of Salvos to Tempestest Barrage and having the fire rate scale off of Duration.  He said something bout making it 46 salvo's cause Davy Johns Ship had that many Cannons. I'll see if I can find that again. That combined with your suggestion about it stripping over guard would be great change. So a low duration with the augment would insta strip Overguard and pop nullified bubbles quick.

    You should try the current Grendel your Playstyle sounds like his kit.

    (Dashing, ragdolling, eating)

     

    I agree with your opinion that barrage and tidal wave are ok, but undertow and the tentacles are rubbish.

    With overguard most cc frames have trouble with surviving. That's why I don't play Vauban but zephyr. It is far easier to stay alive. My death count with khora tripled with the overguard update. But that is the purpose of overguard that you active fight against it. So a no to strip overguard abilities. 

    Grendel's feast is a better undertow. If you love ragdolling enemies, because you only use undertow for that, take a banshee or a tenet exec. 

    The tentacles swarm is useless in steel path because there more enemies than you have tentacles. A prime example for an ability that is not up To date with the current game mechanics. Yeah you can tweak it, but please no. The floating enemies in a strangle dome are already annoying me, let alone tentacle swarm. I am really glad that nearly nobody plays hydroid. 

     

    So now something constructive 

    In my opinion as a pirate he needs an resource meter like ember, Gauss, Baruuk, atlas, Grendel(enemies). And some abilities that work with it( ship cannons, kraken, flying sharks?)

    As a Davy Jones copy his dodge should be a underwater dash.

    CO is for 2+hours runs when the enemy become lv200+

    That mod is for people who stay longer in endless missions. 

    CO shines when primary weapons become useless

    CO is a late bloomer, after two status procs CO is better than PPP in Hybrid builds.

    On trash enemys PPP is better (cause they die after 1 hit).

    Lv100 heavy gunners are far too weak see the difference between CO and PPP

    Try using lv150 railjack exo gokstad officer.

    It does. You are only using the wrong bow for that mod.

    Not every mod must be good on every weapon. 

    I recommend using the mutalist cernos.

    I wholeheartedly agree to that change. Reave is a strong ability but too clunky in it's utilization.

  13. 1. Atlas (disappointing abilitys, his best a ability is his passive.the leverian is really exaggerating his abilitys)

    2. Inaros (underpowered abilitys, not boring but quite useless)

    3. Zephyr (Her abilitys are not suited for normal missions or are outdated)

    4. Nyx (Nice abilitys, but there are many restrictions why that frame is not performing well)

    5. Banshee (very good in extreme low or extreme high level mission but really terrible in every other mission. I don't think that is a good state for a frame)
