  1. I don't see it.  For one thing, nobody really needs to use any powers as is running an extermination.  (Some frames have an ability that you'd want to use all the time: Iron Skin, Invisibility, Hall of Mirrors, but they're not necessary if you have a decent weapon out of your three.  And making you not use those abilities makes the frames less fun.)

And nerfing orb drops is the third step towards making it possible to balance #4 abilities on frames.  They're going to have to completely eliminate Energy Vampire and give Trinity a new #3 and also eliminate or drastically nerf energy restore consumables first.  That's the only way to go (and limiting Power Efficiency isn't really part of that equation beyond 'don't ever make Primed Streamline'.).  And yeah, that;s going to upset a lot of people, but it'll eventually have to happen.

  2. Just retire him completely.  If they're not willing to keep Pilfering Swamp working at a useful level (being flat with power could be okay if it were flat at a level that made it worthwhile), there's little point to the frame at all.  Getting the other abilities to being fun would take the kind of effort better spent on a new frame, and on top of that he's tied to the least fun boss fight in the game, and it's unfun again in a way that's not fixable without the kind of effort againt better spent on new content.  Send him to Davy Jones'...

  3. From my understanding of it, this system prevents a player from joining on the first round and closing the app and rejoining the match at round 4 to collect the rotation C reward. I don't particularly care for this system but I understand why it's there.

That's about the lamest 'exploit' ever; the player is still time-walled and isn't really gaining anything relative to being carried by the other squad members in a more traditional manner.  Stopping this is really important enough to needlessly punish orders of magnitude more numbers of honest players being failed by their connectivity/DE's matchmaking?

  4. Two things that happen when one loses connection during a T4 Interception mission and then rejoins the squad:

    1. (And this may be expected behavior, not sure), all rewards from the pre-disconnect waves are lost.

    2. (This one is almost certainly not correct, though), rewards from the waves going forward are 'rolled' separately, as though the wave you rejoin were the first wave (rotation A) rather than getting the same rewards as the rest of the squad.

  5. Replacing boar prime barrel with the soma prime barrel isn't just as bad, it's worse. Gonna need help farming Dakra prime, lovely. This is why people leave DE, this why those of us who come back, might be leaving for good. I can only hope the new Sentient tile sets (whenever they appear) will have the old primes in them, this is nothing short of insane.

They made the Nova helmet easier to get when it replaced the Frost Helmet as a syndicate offering.  They'll probably do the same with the Volt helmet and Soma barrel.

  6. Welp, that means Ash P parts would probably end up in T3 Ext, Sabotage and T4 Interception. Yikes

A question since I'm a dum-dum : why not remove cells packs and Rot C forma bps instead ?

:Last time they stuck the new parts wherever they wanted (which was almost entirely in the Survival towers) and moved things out of those drop tables into the places emptied by vaulting.  And made the new syndicate offerings slightly easier to get.

I expect that they'll either (I) do exactly the same, more than half of the parts into Survival, nothing to Defense or Interception, the rest to short missions or (2) do the opposite, put more than half of the new parts into Defense, nothing in Survival, and the rest in Interception and a different set of short missions.  Putting the new parts directly into where the vaulted ones now drop is highly unlikely.

  7. Shouldn't there be a imminent vaulting announcement along with this for Mag Prime and associated weapons?  [i'm assuming that the next prime access isn't going to make it in before the Void changes happen, at least not on the console and probably not on anything, so the logic that lead to the Frost vaulting should still hold for this one...)

  8. it's simple, a lot of people got bought by the event's messed up mechanics, each time they said "I'm sorry Neffy, I will be back after this one" they lost 1 point on Nef's side... turns out they supported Alad 5 times and are currently with 1 point of support on Anyo, I'm assuming a lot of them will incline towards Alad now.

That's the explanation I came up with for the fact that many times before that we had (50k cr Anyo vs 75k cr Alad) and Anyo still won, this time is different though.

Disclaimer: I am not actually incriminating "hurr durr disgusting mercenaries", honestly it is very understandable why most people would side with better rewards, everybody needs potatoes and R5 cores in this grindy game...

You may be right.  As far as I'm concerned, the rational strategy has always been "Rare Cores or Nef unless you're already at 6+ Nef points; possibly take a potato or uncommon cores over credits if you're already at 6 or more; but always go Nef in credits versus credits.".  If more people had been following those rules this round would have gone quickly too and we'd not have cheated ourselves out of two or three extra rounds and rewards.

  9. Why in the world is this round even in question, let alone slowly sliding to Alad? The same rewards went down in two hours for Nef earlier in the event.  Is there a brigade of anti-science anti-Valkyr weekend warriors that has come out in force now?

  10. Because who doesn't want to hug a giant fusion core?

Honestly, it really probably is for science/to have something the PC doesn't for a short while/it's not as though the Karak is actually good.

But the Lore-based reasons for Tenno to not want to so much as spit on Alad if he were on fire are also compelling.

The real question is why the Xbox people are siding with Alad.

  11. When is Ogma Elite coming to consoles?  The Devs don't ever mention in when talking about the content in the upcoming build, which means that its either in our build already or has been completely forgotten...

This weekend would have been the best time to run it, but apparently not.  (Next weekend, maybe, but there's the risk of certification going through quickly and thus making it tougher to find a time not overlapping the new content there...)
