  1. Warframe will simply die if the community defends rivens as hard as they currently. We need statlock to crash the riven market and bring it in line with everything else if not still slightly higher.

TIME IS MONEY So what if kuva is free? You know how much it takes to get even a decent riven, your time is pushing money towards DE and it is undeserved. Ask youself.

IS STAT ROLLING REALLY GOOD FUN CONTENT?
IS STAT ROLLING REALLY GOOD FUN CONTENT?

It is a distraction, and it exploits peoples time, kuva is not reasonable because of the amount you need for just one mod.

Is running 50 missions for 1 mod a good feature?

1st RNG finding the riven you want

    2nd RNG rolling the riven

3rd the insane i mean INSANE kuva grind Insanity Is Doing the Same Thing Over and Over Again and Expecting Different Results.

The RNG on rivens keeps them from being a pay to win aspect. The only resources you’re spending is your time and Kuva as opposed to money. I do agree it is gambling, and relies solely on chance, but I’d much rather grind for my rolls than pay a hefty amount of plat to get the right stats.

Statlock does not remove all worth it just puts it in line with other things in the game like primes, and means DE must work hard on real content to make money, not this rng non-content. Trust they make plenty and still would with statlock.

so what you want is for the "idiots" who use the system to stop using the system as it is in the hopes that DE changes it to make it easier so you dont have to put as much work in?

the only way DE would directly make a profit off a a particular god riven is if the person buying that particular god riven went out and specifically bought plat to buy that specific riven. Otherwise the plat used to buy any riven was first bought for something else. Thus meaning that DE made the initial and only profit from that platinum from something else and not that specific riven. If I buy plat so that I can get mesa parts, DE made money from me buying plat for that. If the person who I bought the mesa parts from then goes and buys a riven with the plat they got from me DE doesnt magically make more money from the plat that already exists.

Yes!!?!? Why should I work in a game... I want to play and right now DE is making more money than any AAA title and not giving us the correlating content, despite clear potential. They givw us grind grind grind. And dont say cause its free cause there is no free it doesnt exist.

They make more money of smaller purchases not the 1% god eivens and even those are over priced

I've said it before, there is nothing wrong with rivens. They are a fun mechanic to enhance weapons in different ways. It's the players that have this mentality that they have to roll for a god tier, it's useless otherwise, and when they do they try and sell it for thousands of plat.

Rivens are not "gambling", because they require a resource to reroll that you can't buy with real money. You have to earn it in game. Can it become addicting? Yes, but it's not anything close to gambling.

They are rng exploit wasting time lazyiness so they dont have to produce real quality content!

They would be fun and less but still profitable with a lock stat!

    Easy fix

That's your issue, if you're looking for the bestest roll in the whole solar system then be prepared to spend a lot of time, kuva and maybe plat. At this point it's just the players' blind focus on having the best stats which they don't even need just to feel good about a weapon that hardly needs them. You don't compromise, can't accept that there's 1 stat that isn't ranked high enough by a random freaking site on the internet programmed by people you don't know and think differently from you

You want the absolute best, then you'll be paying for it, if you can't compromise then it's your fault, the system is working as intended. More lower-MR weapons are getting better use, players have something to farm for and play for and DE is making money from plat purchases, why would they ever change that?

Because a lock system will still generate wealth but not exploit and they will makse less forcing them to add real content to make money not rng.

Plus 80% of rolls are trash 20% are usable and 1% is god even the useable rivens are incredibly rare...

You are gambling you time which is indirectly money as you push whales to purchase which is still screwing everyone over and preying on addicts and children.

There is no real money involved in the act of rolling the riven itself, you cant buy kuva with plat so its not gambling. Plus with how immensely powerful rivens for some weapons can be adding a the ability to lock stats would result in retardedly powerful rivens.

Its gambling, time is money and your timer spending whale plat even if you did not buy is still indirectly money.

  9. Could we ever see split screen for both pc and console? Cause I find its the easiest way to get your friends to play as well... Pius its just way more fun in general :D

  10. I think if Grineer or Corpus units would work together like Brutes and Grunts for example, it would actually make you feel like there is some kind of ranking order in their armies instead of everyone being a...well, grunt.

Have a Grineer commander actually command his troops or an Eximus doing the same for example.

AI are dumb and mostly broken.... their tactics are screwed, I once saw the best formation ever, Ballista at the end, Gunners and Napalms at the back, they won`t attack as she is in their way, and she can`t hit S#&$, her accuracy drops in close range....

tho there was a bug back at U14 or a little before it, Gunners were rolling/side dodging o.o it was too damn fun, a gunner actually tries to avoid damage, heavy units are dumbest units ever, they always start a staring contest they will never win, they see you, hold ground and shoot, if they take dmg, they don`t act, continue staring and shooting, this "tactic" is too boring, I would rather have heavy units smarter than normal units, dodging/rolling/doing handsprings/anything, at least ducking ._.

Stalker is the funniest fight i ever had in PVE, tho he is broken as hell and unbalanced, I enjoy fighting him when he actually fights, not just ROFLstomp me and leave :/

yes very good ideas, hopefully its the way warframe heads

  11. Recently i went back and played some halo combat evolved and various other halo's after an enormous break playing warframe and studying. What I came to realise is that even in halo 1 a 14 year old title, the AI move and act so much superior to the AI in warframe.

The AI in warframe are behond terrible, they are a joke and pose no challenge and are so boring to fight.

Then I remember the stalker, G3, Zanuka/Hyenas, Bursa's and manics. What I propose is that these  enemies with this unique fighting style and make the average normal enemies and even more unique mini bosses are made.

In halo enemies differ from elites, hunters, jackals, Promethean's, crawlers and the many flood forms. They have unique fighting styles, unique animations, unique and vastly different models, not just skins. IN fact this is the case for most video games 10 years ago...

Now in warframe i was wondering why i was burnt out, its cause everthing basically has the same model (even the sand manta ray thingy has the same invisible model), gore animations, same accuracy, behaviors, skins and they are all stupid AI.

VERY.STUPID.CLONES allllll the way through this game.

Except when it comes to bosses and minibosses.

So ? for the longevity of this game and for your longterm richness DE you should think about that and act fast.

In fact its so bad ive had more fun on adventure capatalist (no joke) But warframes art and feel are solid + music :)

  12. DE you supposedly offer a very customizable experience with the modding system, and you do... but only to a limited extent.

Why can't we swap polarities with the aura slots, its such a pain in the &#!, i earned my forma and I always want to try new builds but its ludicrous re-formaring every single time.

And secondly if you just let us rotate through polarities on formaed slots it would open up so many build possibilities, because we could min,max for one thiing and then change our minds and swiftly edit the formaed slots. so simple, so easy to implement, and we would still require the exact amount of forma to achieve powerful builds, it would just add flexability !!

  13. I disagree with nearly everything you say (except the enemies point, although I'd rather have a "difficulty slider" type of thing, so it was a choice).

In fact, I think if the devs implemented your advice, the game would die in a month or so.

It would make it scale so much better
