  1. Dear Warframe Developers, After the Tempestarii update, key features were removed/changed for the worse. The first is that you used to be able to clearly start/join a mission. You can no longer do this. Before Tempestarii, the button in the Orbiter's mission console for the Empyrean solar-system was labeled "Join a crew", and always meant that you would only join crews, never host. But if you were in your Railjack in your dojo, accessing the map with the ships' console and selecting a mission meant ALWAYS hosting a Railjack mission, meaning it would only use YOUR Railjack. After Tempestarii, neither of those things are in place. Instead, starting a mission from your Railjack or your orbiter has no impact and will defer to joining a mission if there is one currently open. You also used to be able to NOT host a mission, and instead wait for the selected node to be hosted. After Tempestarii, you can't do this either. In addition, clicking on a mission that reads out as 0 open squads is not a reliable way to start your own mission, and means that you have to choose a node that you may not want to play. This is very frusturating to work with. The second is that... what happened to piloting? I know I'm a bit late but thats only because I thought you would fix it... but you haven't. After Tempestarii, drifts no longer feel as slidy. In addition, the boost you got from releasing a drift has been taken away. ADDITIONALLY, there is no boost bar anymore. Where piloting a Railjack used to have the most fun spaceship controls I've ever used, it is now almost a giant Archwing. And there has been nothing done about it yet. While a boost bar makes people need to get more creative about how they move their Railjack, I understand its removal, as I faintly remember Archwing people being faster than the Railjack itself. But talking about the drift: nearly getting rid of the feeling that you are BURNING RUBBER in SPACE, and omitting the boost at the end of the drift entirely, were not fun changes. I didn't want to put the list at the start since I thought it would seem a bit tyrannical, so here it is after my reasoning: Allow people to choose whether they want to: wait to join a Railjack squad or start their own Railjack mission with their own Railjack. Restore drifting with all its nuances. (drifting used to have a much stronger grip on steering and changing directions) Reinstall drift boosting Pre-Tempestarii Railjack had great handling, it felt fun to just swoop around the "Free Flight" zone in Earth Proxima. it felt fun to skilfully wrestle the bow of the Railjack while drifting in order to keep it pointed at an enemy crewship, as someone else aimed the large cannon to decimate it, evading missles all the while. It felt fun to drift behind giant asteroids and release for a boost around the other side, right back into the battle. After all this I am glad that we can still drift at all. (drifting currently still has a unique function in that you can't change directions on the fly like boosting, its a bit like a pendulum being swung from a point in space). In addition I recognize that changing the hosting/joining system for Empyrean missions is a good idea, but instead of being improved it was just trashed entirely. Yarrr, Sir Snek
