Again, not hating on the playstyle. Dont really mind if people play it in the same group as me, am thankful for the people who do enjoy that playstyle etc etc.

I am quite happy to play solo, I only touch public when Im affinity farming, relic opening, Eidolon hunting, Its Boreal on the Archon Rotation and Netracells because keyglyphs are less of a hassle when you dont need to carry all of them.

So no, I dont need to "find a game that's slow enough or fast enough" really. I'm quite happy here. Concerned for the future maybe, but happy. And I will probably be going to soulframe when it is finished being made.

But this isn't complaining. Please dont accuse everyone with concerns of complaining. This is me expressing worry, but also curiosity of why people use this playstyle. If the design of the game pushes for it, that's a very different thing from enjoyment after all.

People use the playstyle because it's fun.

Gaming isn't new anymore, we all did our time and played slower paced souls-like games and really strict MMO.

Those games are fun, but are too restrictive after awhile.

8 players in a raid: 1-2 healer, 1-2 tank, 1-2 bard/buffer/support and 3-4 dps. Once you get into a good clan/linkshell you'll likely be designated a role and it'll likely be support since all the established players take the dps spots.

  2. That's how games go.

DE has shown time and time again they like less restrictions, power fantasy and fun. And we support them for that.

That's why they're making Soul frame for all the people complaining.

There's probably hundreds of thousands of different game services, so it's up to you to find a game that's slow enough or fast enough for you.

Also: recruit chat/find a friend with similar interests etc.

I agree. I'm just stating that it's neglected lol.

... except this is 2024 and there's so many room nuke options. It's really no more or less OP than quite a few other setups. Prism is pretty good, but the augment and base ability are unnecessarily clunky, as opposed to how easy it is for you to spam AoE with the clones, Total Eclipse, and Primed Sure Footed.

Yea I don't touch Mirage without making sure I can put 3 casting shards on her.

  4. The duration scales with duration mods.....that disco ball is OP and 12 seconds is enough to wipe a room and any hallway you walk down.

With recent changes to eclipse, any warframe with own damage reduction ability can go above a million EHP without any issues. Times 10 when you deploy ancient healer specter.  Times 100 when you deploy citrine specter on top of that. 100k to be honest doesn't seem as anything impressive nowadays.

    Oh citrine specter....I totally forgot....you're a genius.

Since CC only affects regular enemies, and intended gameplay is instantly wiping regular enemies from existence, they may as well remove CC from the game.  It's not there to make any difference, it's just a way to inconvenience some of the AI until you look at it while hammering E, pressing 1-4, or holding left click.

Replace all CC abilities with overguard and damage enhancers and this game can reach its perfected form.

It's for people that need it.

You have players from brand new to playing for 11 years and everyone in between.

Just because you individually don't need something, doesn't mean someone else isn't using it.

  7. Have you tried shooting them or hitting them with your really strong sword?

Even if damage is added to abilities solely to help people against overguard....you're not meant to spam abilities solely to take down over guard.

You're probably meant to identify...face the enemy and attack them head on.

  8. All warframes have interactions further explained on the wiki....

If you want to know why an entire wiki page isn't in the video game, you are past saving.

It's a lot of text.....it doesn't look good to have 2 to 3 pages of mechanics in the game.

Most player can't even handle reading the information already in game.

If you're an active player that likes to reach above and beyond....take 3 minutes out of your day to read the "abilities" tab on a warframes wiki.

Problem solved. You can learn about warframe ability while on the toilet.

I also want everyone to keep in mind that this is the first week. There are a lot more modifiers out there that can make the gameplay drastically worse and unless you have literally every frame and weapon built (which is the endgame status symbol apparently), you will lack the flexibility. It might not be this week, it might not even be the next few months but eventually the RNG and modifiers WILL allign eventually.

I also have an idea concerning builds, after reset today I will post my RNG selection here and I would encourage people to suggest build for my best options including how much investment I should put into it. You might think this a way to steal builds.

    YES

I want people to prove that their build works while also being contributive the the squad and what better way than to ask directly? Shouldnt be no problem, right?

That's a great idea, and you shouldn't have to worry about being accused of build stealing, that's silly. Don't worry about people like that.
