  1. Thats a pretty good Riven though, to be serious, but Rivens tend to be more about buying a buyer as much as anything, unless you are using a third party website and listing it, in which case you can use other peoples Rivens as a rough guide. If you enjoy the weapon, of course keep it though. I wouldn't sell my (actual) Dread Riven at all, I like the weapon too much, and its Incarnon form makes it devastating Crit weapon.
  2. My Dread Riven has 420% cc, with point break on thats doubled, at 1600% cc, but if you look at me, and you look at Samoa Joe, you see that statement is not true. See normally with 420%, plus Frosts 200% cc, thats 690.33%, against Samoa Joe, plus 50/50 plus point break, you get 6969 and three quarters %. But I'm a genetic freak and I'm not normal! My Dread Riven gets 75% more cc at worst, then you add + Corpus to the mix, enemy chance drastic go down. See with Sacrifice Mod, enemies have 3.33% chance at winning, so my Paris Riven have 97.97% chance at criting, because Grineer won't even try. So you take my Daikyu 997.69 cc chance to crit, and you add Corpus Joe 00.337 chance of not dying, and you add them together if was to fight Corpus, and you add 420% if I just watched Point Break, thats 9999.97 chance I have of critting with Cernos at Warframe 1999. See, the percentages don't lie, and they spell jade light for you at Maroos Bazaar.
  3. Ideally yeah, but also, I don't think its that easy or financially viable unfortunately. Like I don't know that much about the technical aspects involved, but based on what I have read from people who do seem to know more, well... different people have different projections on the time, resources that would be required, some don't seem realistic, or feasible. Also, like many things, time and resources aren't infinite, and so its a matter of trading off. Like hypothetically do you want DE to spend a year focused entirely on introducing new pet mechanics, Kavat armours, breeds, etc or do you want them to release regular updates, like Jade Shadows, 1999, new Primes etc, see most people will want the latter, but there will be a few people that want more Kavat things... Some people will want both, but like... actual missions and updates will take a priority. See I would personally like way more Void Shell implementation, but not at the cost of everything else stalling permanently. Not that, thats necessarily exactly how that works, different teams, different skills etc, but its just an example to illustrate potential issues. So in that sense, I would rather, if possible... I don't need every skin to be Voidshell, but ideally Deluxe skins. Also, an option to turn on Prime Details maybe? I feel like many Voidshell skins, end up shooting themselves in the foot, because the Warframe already has a Prime appearance that is much favoured over default looks, or a really great Deluxe already. Granted many people have a lot of config slots, for fashion frame purposes, but ehhh...
  4. DE started to realise the real profit in Warframe laid with Merchandising!! Like how they recently started selling the Mesa statue. They probably made decent bank with the Lotus statue as well. So they were probably like who else would sell well... Arthur is a given, and they already sold an Excalibur statue, so all they need to do, is take that, change the pose a little, add a lot more thickness to thighs, chest, and throw on Arthurs head etc... but then who else? Yeah yeah they have quite a lot of Warframes to chose from... To quote the famous philosopher, Sisqo of Dragon, "Thighs like what, what, what", and so I bet by the end of next year, they will be selling Aoi statues, and there will even be a more expensive Aoi statue as well, thats more limited, but comes with her bike as well. Again, I need to emphasis on both Arthurs and Aoi's thighs. Thighs make a statue a lot better. For uhm stability reasons. You don't want statues with thin thighs, or else they will fall over. Regular Mag would be impossible to make a statue of, same with Vay Hek, 90 percent of his weight, is in his head. Its why MODOK never got any statues ever (don't Google that, trust me!). Now I like Vay Hek, but he screams more action figure to me, with a button you press to get voice lines. There is some money there, but high end statues with cake are where the real cash is.
  5. Well... we are getting a Warframe named Jade. Now Jade isn't that uncommon a name, but in Warframe, its actually a bit more special, since in Warframe, there is the concept of the Jade Light. A true death. Jade was shown with a melee weapon, which means, they might actually require a borrowed Primary weapon, to be eventually Primed, when we get Jade Prime. Now when you think about it... " The Jade Light" the "True Death" well... there is really only one weapon that can deliver the truest death, the final death, the ultimate death... and that is the Daikyu. Therefore obviously... Daikyu Prime, Bringer of the Jade Light, Final Purveyor of Death, the True and Final Death confirmed with Jade Prime (Daikyu Prime Access 2028 (also comes with Jade Prime)
  6. You are going to need a large cage, a really long piece of string or rope, three Aka Samuari burgers, two Kuro Shogun burgers (those are the red and black burgers BK introduced in Japan. They are the edgiest type of burger, in flavour and aesthetic), and a copy of Hardcore Edgy Goth Babes Monthly: Bloodsuit Edition. Put that junk inside the cage, and tilt it, to allow easy access... Then you just need to wait around a corner and get your scanner ready...
  7. Yeah I agree with Hexerin's take. Specifically this wording from Pablo "Do remember we are improving drops on Netracells, so might wanna wait regardless.", so its less about double drops or giving players an extra chance to get more rewards overall, and sounding more like giving players the option to get in an attempt of the new mode on launch. Meaning, if you do decide to wait you can take advantage of better drops (unless you want some of the normal melee Arcanes), as opposed to just getting more.
  8. I am sorry to hear about your experiences in other games. Other people have already given good answers already, my experiences with Warframe players is that most are very chill, friendly types. I understand your concern and desire to know etiquette and pay due diligence all the same though too. I wouldn't say there is a norm regarding who invites who. Its one of those things that can just be discussed in the moment. I personally usually like to go with whatever the other person is comfortable. Some people will like to send an invite after any sort of message, and if they don't, I like to ask them, a question like "My dojo or yours?", since I am in a clan with my own dojo. Some people may not have a dojo though, but travelling to one, can be more convenient than the alternative. Generally though its the sort of thing that can be discussed between you and the other party. Actually I just realised I shouldn't assume you know what a Dojo is. Dojos are basically a customisable home space for clans. Not a bad idea to join a clan and to have access to a dojo. You can also start your own, but it might take extra time and resources, but you know, some people enjoy that. There are ways to trade without dojos, but if you don't have one, asking the player you contact to use their dojo should be fine. If they are a seller, they probably do have a dojo. Most people as far as I am aware, usually do have a dojo. Dojos also have trading posts. Which is the in game physical location, where you can access a console, and it will ask you if you want to trade with another player, and then you can select them and request a trade. If you are with a more experienced trader, especially if you are at their dojo, they'll probably get to it first and make the request to you, in which case you just need to accept. The user interface is pretty intuitive from there, as far as asking you want you want to trade and how to proceed. I can't make the promise that every person will be super kind, friendly and welcoming, but... if you communicate to people that you don't trade much and are still learning, most will be accomodating and do their best to help you. Plus if you have questions or worries, its totally okay to voice them here or ask about them here as well. All the best to you.
  9. Have to kind of agree with some of the others, the question is a bit odd. Like without knowing more information. For example did you just unlock Archons this week, and want to try and complete them before the week is out and you can't add more Forma? Or is this some sort of challenge you have given yourself to see if you can kill one without Forma? Do you have a Catalyst in your weapon/will you put a Catalyst in your weapon? Are you doing it solo or in a group? I'll try and answer regardless. If you are in a group, even if public/random, and you are new, just try and stay alive. If you have access to any Incarnon weapons in general, they are pretty decent. Felarx, Phenmor and Laetum if you are yet to find/do Steel Path Circuit. Kuva Hek is still really strong as well. Boar Incarnon is pretty strong. If you don't have access to any of those weapons yet... just take whatever you think is your strongest weapon/comfort weapons, for now. If you are in a group you will likely be carried, and thats okay for now. To note though... I don't actually know what its like to try and use many weapons without a Catalyst and without a few Forma. If you lack resources right now, sure... but you should also be aiming to get some Forma in your weapon just to make such missions easier. For example, with the Archons, you want your weapon to have a lot of damage, multi shot, Crit Chance and Crit Damage, and to be modded for Radiation. Also, if you are Ivara and need to go solo... putting a Silencer/Suppress type mod on the weapon, actually makes the Archon fight quite quite smooth. As you can stealth/go invisible and aim up the perfect angle and use say the Kuva Heks alt fire for big damage. So that sort of strategy should be your long term goal. To get more Forma, to get your weapons power up. In the mean time though.. just try get Rad on your weapon, high damage, high multi shot weapons, with decent fire rate and ammo economy also are quite good. Again though, if you are solo, might still be quite tough. Try in a group if you can, and then slowly try to get more Forma in for next time. Good luck on your Hunt!!
  10. I think y'all missing the point. Ever since DE Reb Shang Tsunged/Soul Stealed DE Steve's life force and took over the Zaibatsu, she has been funnelling resources and wealth into integrating Final Fantasy, Nier Automata and Baldur's Gate 3 into Warframe. In 10 years time, those games will no longer exist and instead all be folded into the ever growing, ever expending media giant and entity known as Warframe. The bunny ears are just the first step into eventually getting a Viera Warframe, a tall brown dummy thicc bunny in a dark metal dark fantasy gothic maid style Warframe waifu the likes to make other waifu Warframes like Wisp, Atlas, Protea, and Nezha mains blush. Thats not where it ends... we'll be getting pale white haired vampire Warframes, huge red demon woman warrior Warframes... Lalafell Warframes!!
  11. I think there is a difference between, this is a good/great design but I don't like the aesthetic or the design for this character, and this is a bad/horrible design. Yes it could be considered implicit, and yes regardless there is often a large amount of subjectivity, but there is also value as far as communicating ideas. For example, I think this is a great design. I also like the design in a more subjective aesthetic preference based way, but I also do agree its a departure and quite dissimilar from Yareli's default design. The design reminds me of Namielle, a literal Monster from Monster Hunter so... I guess, then again Namielle is considered quite a beautiful and cool monster so... Also as far as Warframe philosophy around Deluxe skins, its not uncommon for them to go with designs that sometimes subvert design expectations to go for a different vibe. Not always of course, sometimes a skin also reenforces an idea or plays up a feature of the original design. It can be a mixed bag. Whilst I don't like every single skin that attempts this, overall I find it more interesting an approach to go with. Ideally though, and its not realistic, but ideally, I wish we could get more Deluxe skins more often, some that deviate and some that don't. Big fan of more options, choices and styles.
  12. Think there is already enough rising going on ever since Aoi's appearance in the trailer dropped... but I'm here for it regardless. Aoi looked super stylish, and man, if we could somehow get her as a skin for Mag...
  13. Don't really have a hard preference. What I might be in the mood for, will tend to change based on other variables and factors too complex and various to attempt to categorise, with many variables fluctuating in nature anyway, and not just that, but the way Warframe is set up, is that certain Warframes can overlap heavily as far as different play styles or categorisations. Like there are some Warframes I use in ways that would fall under each of OP's categories, depending on the time and day and mission and my mood. If I had to force a pick though, Weapons Caster might come the closest as far as general preference based on past time based play time, but ehh... See rather than ability focused with some weapon usage, for me, I tend to like more weapon usage with some casting abilities here and there (as opposed to heavy casting or no casting).
  14. You get 1 Steel Essence by default in Relic Cracking missions. Or specifically when you crack open a Relic, so if you are in an endless, then per round/open. In normal default missions, you don't get Steel Essence otherwise, well unless you kill an Acolyte or if its one of the Daily Incursions, in which case you get 5 by default. Stalker and certain other Assassins can affect the timing of the Acolyte spawn, but, it shouldn't cancel it outright. Just delay. Not sure on the exact specifics. Other factors to consider. Are you playing in teams or solo? Are you waiting around and killing enemies or just extracting? Like, if you are solo and Stalker appears in Exterminate, and you get to extraction in around 6 minutes... if you wait and find enemies to kill, provided you can find enemies, the Acolyte should show up eventually... If you extract though, or the three other players start the extraction well... then naturally they won't appear. The killing enemies part, I will emphasis since I have sometimes seen people just waiting around for the Acolyte, near extraction. Their appearance will trigger by an enemy death. No more enemies, then nada.
  15. I can't remember/don't know how negative recoil affects weapons with single shots. That being said my Exergis Riven has plus magazine size, and can fire twice, and its position usually returns to a favourable aiming position by time of the second shot. If I had to assume, then more recoil is a pretty good harmless negative to have. You might have to test it out to see though. Weapons that have one shot in the magazine, like most bows, certain snipers etc, having a negative magazine is a harmless negative, as regardless of rounding, you'll always be able to shot one shot IIRC. Its not one of those traits that does anything weird or funky like not doing any damage or something. So again, another harmless negative. In some cases, it can even be a positive negative (if you prefer your Vectis Prime being a one round weapon etc). I don't know as much about melee weapons, so am not sure with your last question. IIRC some weapon stances can have attacks that can do certain types of status damage, so maybe, and I don't know myself, but maybe such attacks could be affected. Or maybe they operate in some other ways, that aren't affected. Someone with better understanding and knowledge may have better information to answer. That being said, if I had to guess, given that Impact isn't a super valuable status, and I don't know the Dark Split Sword ideal stance is, or the moves in the stance... sounds like an okay negative to have,
  16. I think its an interesting and well thought out idea, but in practice, ehhh... I don't think the positives outweigh the negatives. Sense of progression in this context is a pretty subjective, vague offer, that I think speaks more to the under realised potential of New War and Narmar faction, than anything. Steel Path has been around for a while, with many who play it regularly. The sense of progress would be superficial. Not all factions have Namar equivalents, so you would potentially miss out on enemy variety. Sometimes its also nice to specifically fight Corpus, Grineer, Infested, etc specifically versions that don't die to a sneeze (if the argument is that the regular star chart exists). Narmar dedicated nodes or so on, would be welcome, but I wouldn't want to replace Steel Path as it is, just because of a subjective sense that Narmar faction were under utilised. Less about difficulty, and more about reducing diversity. To think about it another way, imagine if each new update, or new faction, that enemy type was now the default everywhere else. Thematically, it could make sense if they wanted it to, as far as story telling adjustments, but if a person is in a mood to fight Grineer on Earth only to have Murmur there now instead? Again to be clear, I am also one of those people that thought Narmar was under utilised too, but I wouldn't want this as the solution. For aforementioned, and also, just that we have generally moved on from that initial Narmar storyline. If they did decided to do a new smaller update, since Narmar plot isn't fully wrapped up, I would think that would be cool, but again would rather see new Nodes added, so in addition, rather than replacements. Sort of like how we have Kuva Fortress. Or maybe just adding one or two new Nodes on the planets that were affected. To try and cover different mission types. That way we get a star chart version, and a Steel Path version. My apologies if my viewpoint seems a bit negative, I do think your idea was well articulated, just not my own personal preference.
  17. Its the most used? Is this to do with the year in review stats or something? If thats the case, then its my fault, sorry. See I really like Relic runs in the Void, especially Survival. Since its a pretty passive and chill way to get Relics. You open one, you get a new one, and depending on how long you stay, you actually walk away with more Relics than you use. Not only that, but the way that work, is that you keep getting boosters that stack with your other boosters, so you are incentivised to stay long. So... if you are staying long, and up to an hour, then its not actually that big a deal to do a little extra prep in the modding screen before or after, to make your build a little stronger for an enemy you know you will definitely be fighting for a while. As opposed to having to constantly change.... So its the one time I actually do use Faction mods.
  18. When I think about why and how the Incarnons were implemented. A lot of them were historically strong and iconic weapons that just over time faded into the background, because of power creep and the way the game evolved. So it made a lot of older classic weapons meta again, or just more powerful. So in that sense... Tigris: I'd be pretty happy if this was a strong contender for best shotgun in the game again. Plus that it was used in the Duviri trailer as well. Sybaris: A cool and elegant weapon, thats fun but just aged. Gram or Galatine: Could be fun to update. Opticor: Another fun and iconic weapon, that could be fun to boost a bit. Then I think it would be fun, if we had Incarnons for interesting and weapon classes that are yet to have an Inacrnon. Like sniper rifles. So in that sense. Daikyu: The best weapon in any game ever. Snipetron or Lanka: To have a sniper Incarnon. Any of the secondary explosive weapons: For fun. War: Could be interesting considering how many of Stalkers other weapons are Incarnon. Anyway Warfan: Maybe even an original Incarnon. An original Gunblade Incarnon: Don't think any of the current Gunblades need it but would be fun to have one. Some of these have an alt fire purpose already, but I don't actually think thats a big deal that can't be worked around
  19. No Tomes? No Tomes? Wow, to be Tomeless. How sorrowful. For real though, probably won't be that big a deal. Ultimately we'd have to wait to know for sure, but Dante's book seems more DPS based, and a lot of the Tome mods strength/power is around buffing/auxiliary effects. Meaning traditional mods will probably be better, unless Dante's book is more intended as a Support type weapon, which it may... but then in which case, arguably the modding will matter less, and or can be side stepped in other ways. That being said, I sympathise with your situation, since Whispers Mirror Defence was the part of the update I liked the least, and after a decent try and getting the Tome modes, I actually had another of the other stuff from the update, I just sold those for Plat to buy the Tome mods. I might be wrong, but I get the sense either that grind will be made a bit easier with time, and or players will eventually get enough to make it more feasible just to buy them from other players.
  20. You'll be pleased to know your thread was noticed by DE and on Twitter/X they announced that the Inaros rework will be stopped immediately. Of course like you say, "he is the only frame that you don't really pick for abilities" so... no one is actually going to be able to tell the difference if Inaros was reworked anyway, since people using Inaros don't use his abilities. So we have now entered a catch 22 in which, no one actually knows... if or when Inaros was reworked... Like if I said, Inaros was actually reworked a month ago, you wouldn't know... He is still going to be unkillable health tank... Therefore we never really actually need to worry about Inaros being changed. Since he is as eternal as the sands of the hourglass in the solar wind...
  21. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tommy Lister Jr, coming this Summer. BRAKK and DETRON (1992). One's a tough gritty jaded Cop who likes to clean up the streets with hard discipline and his Winchester repeater Shotgun, the other is a Cop whose from the Streets, who is tough and angry, who likes to clean up corruption from the inside, with his fists and power bombs. How will this unlikely duo learn to cooperate and work together to take down an evil LA Drug Lord (Michael Wincott) who threatened both their livelihoods. BRAKK (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and DETRON (Tommy Lister Jr) are coming the Summer of 92. Does kind of sound like a 90's buddy cop movie though, or is that just me? Personally I consider Wold Sledge the hardest farm, outside those that were originally there for it, or those lucky enough to be around when that special alert went out). You had to use a beacon exclusively, and the odds were way worst than Detron or Brakk. If you do enough Invasions regular, to refresh their mark, its not too bad. That being said, I do think you should be able to trade for them. I have so many I would rather just give away to folk struggling with RNG.
  22. Random stuff eh? Like you go in one day and its just Vay Hek outside the window, in space. Except its a bigger version, so his entire face takes up all the window. He is somehow just always in frame, as if he is stuck to the Orbiter or something. Or some unexplained reason why he is keeping pace with the ship, just floating there. You see his mouth moving, shouting actually, but you can't actually hear him, because space. You just see spittle form on the window, as he continues to scream at you. Another time you go in, and there is just a slightly transparent figure of the Lotus... but she is crying... crying blood. Why is the ghost Lotus outside the ship, and why is she crying, why is she crying blood? Then her head falls off and a bigger Lotus climbs out of the neck stump. Then the next time, you just see 100 Ashen Kuaka, running alongside the window. Except they are crazed, violent, sadistic Ashen Kuaka, biting and clawing at each other, leaving a trail of Ashen Kuaka blood and guts throughout the space beside. Even though they are in space and you shouldn't be able to hear them... you do hear them... they whisper your name... Not your in game name... your real name...?!? Then you can go in, and there is just a giant massive floof. Galactus size floof of Legs. Except its Chippers voice coming from the floof Legs. Calling you a mucker over and over. Random.
  23. This would be one of the fastest way to get On Call Crew nerfed. If you have them out longer? Their damage and stats will be tuned to compensate, so they'll essentially just become Spectres. You also want to be careful how you frame such points as well. Like the idea "they are dependent on players ability to build weapons"... well yeah, that applies to players and the star chart in general. Players who know how to mod better will have an easier and more effective time, therefore players who learn, test, follow guides, get community help, consider their builds, are rewarded. So using that as a selling point or argument can end up being counter productive/intuitive. On Call Crew are very potent as they are. Personally? I think they are fine as is, but I also see many players argue that they need to be nerfed (though sometimes some of their arguments seem more out of spite), but and again personally, I would rather them not just turn into a Spectre. Being shorter term, more powerful versions is a decent compromise and way to distinguish them in my eyes.
  24. Leave them alone... They're armless. This thing on? Hello. Coughs. Ahem. To be real though, I think they are stuck like that permanently, as its symbolic and reflective of repression of sexual desires, a symptom of the repression and self denial that was instrumental in Duviri's creation and transcension from a mind palace to a somewhat more tangible solid state form. When you really think about it, I mean.
  25. Easiest way to fix blast, is just make it a type of DOT, where blast status persists on an enemy and does additional blast damage, intermittently, for a set period. Not as frequent as Heat and not the same mechanics, but a damage and a slight CC. Then make each damage instance make onomatopoeic noises, around blast, boom and bang like noises/sounds. With the original status inflict being the loudest, and then getting quieter, "smaller bangs/blasts" being the quietist. No way that can fail.
