  1. Miasma can do 10k a tick... that's low damage?

Its relatively low damage, especially since based on math (minimum one tick) the max damage for 1 tick could be 4260 at the closest range set... Under the impression of course that there are no external modifiers running here. I'm not sure if negative power duration will actually affect damage once you get it lower than 1 tick.

I also haven't been paying attention to patches, so if they changed it to x damage / however many ticks then 10k is certainly possible, I think.

Even then, 10k isn't pretty amazing with its range.

    Queen of exterm tho.

  2. Even an old bugger like me can be naive, been here for 16 months and thought that "farming" was just going after things in the game that you need some of like rubedo, etc., but just seen that it includes organized, legit, cheating.

I have mentioned in previous posts about those who have to find and exploit all the faults, bugs, shortcuts, etc., god knows why because it sure as hell ain't gaming.

I, naively, accepted an invite into a squad as Trinity and after a few minutes everyone else left. Checked recruiting again and this time they were asking for a "good" Trinity, and "Draco" was mentioned.

Went to YouTube and checked it out . . . my god !, it borders on obscene, this isn't gaming yet the developers allow it.

Why the hell do people like this want to play the game . .because they sure as hell aren't, "Playing the game".

Stinks of double standards around here, I get a warning point for being brutally honest about the kind of mentality in the "Serration" thread yet legalized cheating is perfectly acceptable.

That said I know where the fault lies, with me, this is 2015 so what else should I expect from the total lack of principles prevalent today . . .but how sad that this "farming" is allowed and hasn't been stopped.

Why does it matter ? anyone who thinks it doesn't matter can join the hypocrisy of the people running this game . . .

I could say a lot, lot more about what I think of the feckless, ill-disciplined, younger generation of today but that would only get me another warning point from the hypocrites handing down the punishment . .

m8 when you make a game with NO OTHER PURPOSE other than to farm/grind, this is what you practically beg for. People will find the most efficient way to do something.

  3. Lol, what? Nullification COULD become the first non-artificial difficulty in Warframe. As of now, it is probably the most artificial of difficulty in game. yes, Corpus Nullifiers suck. The point of this is to brainstorm enemies that can nullify abilities that are BALANCED. Thank you sir for putting the exact opposite words that I was saying in my mouth, 10/10.

The very basis of nullification is adding something to make it harder or more complex, which isn't the same thing as adding meaningful content such as story, game modes, etc.

Any addition to potential addition to the difficulty of this game is unnecessary at this point, since it is nearly impossible to add a non-artificial challenge to a game like this.

Furthermore, what about this is any more or less balanced than the corpus nullifiers? Grineer are generally more dangerous than the corpus as is, between their slash procs and ridiculous range, and near unavoidable bullets.

The very basis of this game is practically grind. Adding "difficulty" to it is just senseless, and makes the grind more grueling than it already is, regardless of any sort of clam to "balance" since this means it will either be impotent in any state, or actually prove to be a real challenge, which is the last thing this game needs.

  4. We all know they are coming, and rightly so in a sense. Both the Grineer and Corpus should have some ability to stop our abilities (but a balanced way would be nice). So… the purpose of this topic is to brainstorm some ideas on how the Grineer should gain the ability to “nullify” Tenno powers.

My personal suggestion is Seeker 2.0. Either change the current seeker, or make a new type of seeker that has the ability to nullify abilities with the latcher thing. The Grineer have a weird thing with attaching stuff to Tenno bodies (G3 and Vor), so a little latcher that when attached, preventing ability use makes sense. I would be fine with this because A) you can remove the nullification by just rolling and B) It is less powerful than Corpus Nullifiers, the Corpus have a fetish with Orokin tech, it makes sense that their ability to nullify would be greater.

What do you all think would be the best way to give the Grineer “nullification”.

"I want to make a game all about grinding more difficult to grind in rather than actually add meaningful content."

    10/10

  5.

Congratulations to DE for this event. It has everything:

-Requires Good coordination between squad members.

-It's a challenge. No serves launched without a coordinated strategy.

-It's funny. It offers a real feeling of victory.

-Offers A good reward. The Mod is very good.

My humble opinion is that all, or almost all missions in Warframe should be based on this philosophy.

    Thank You.

    1) It requires no coordination. Just spam some sort of ultra CC (shields), and 1 or two people to play sweeper/gatherer. You can probably solo it if using restores.

    2) It wasn't much of a challenge. Just more "we're gonna throw our poorly designed enemies at you in troves and see what happens, because we got pretty much nothing else other than gimping your own abilities and giving enemies more health." Its same old same old with a minor, nearly insignificant twist.

3)It wasn't funny at all. It was stupid. They chose a glitchy half working approach to that game mode to use it with. The rover is literally Hitler with wheels.

  6. It looks like it's setup to be absolutely impossible to beat

It is possible. In fact, its actually really easy if you don't have any random muck ups.

That said, next time DE should pick a game mode that actually works.

    -Stand in front of rover

        -fall through floor

    -Stand behind rover

        -fall through floor

    -Stand on top of rover

        -fall through floor

-Jump onto the sides of the rover

        -fall through floor

        -fall through floor

          -Enemy instakills you on respawn

    -enemy gets stuck on rover

        -EZ game over

This game mode is junk. Pure, disturbingly refined garbage.

  7. Not sure, likely more of those ip blocking shenanigans so they can farm the credits internally, this method of exploitation still has yet to be dealt with after all this time (pretty much any defender with a big cash payout has done it), so im sure there will be a bunch of LoE's with reaaaly fat credit wallets again. (nothing like over 2billion credits going directly to your own alliance members in a controlled situation.)

Dark Sectors and such really need to be DE hosted to prevent stuff like this. (when matchmaker is working)

Can you even prove they're doing this "ip blocking shenanigan"?

     Just wondering.

                                       Just wondering.

  8. >Do you think Sliding, Coptering, and/or Wall Flinging should be changed in some way?<

Depends, are you actually going to implement a better working/overhauled parkour system afterwards?

    >Do you think pickups (orbs and ammo) need a revision?<

I can't see anything valuable coming from actually modifying how these work.So no.

    >What is your opinion on pure damage mods (for example, Serration)?<

Depends on how you mitigate the damage reductions from their removal.

If you manage to keep the best possible base damage DPS the same (with them) as it is without them, then sure.

If your plan is to simply remove them without really changing anything other than scaling: No thanks. This game is a mob grinder/bulletspongeboss runner already. It is painful enough as is to do this without a real story, let alone if you make it take longer.

    >Would you grab enemies if you could?<

Depends on what I can do afterwards with them- and the actual end-all benefits of doing so. Am I locked in place? etc.

    >On average, do you use all of your Warframe’s abilities?<

Depends on the frame. With min maxing being a thing, not really. Not to mention many abilities just outright suck in any situation and are just a waste of energy.

  9. Just watching the forums people have been begging for mod slots and now that de has mentioned removing seration everyone has jumped down their throats for it. Weapon progression will still make the weapon as powerful as it was fpr everyone arguing the game is to easy with. I honestly just see this as everyone wanting that additional slot to make their builds that much stronger which actually defeats the purpose of this whole argument anyways. Maybe there is is something I'm missing? If so please explain and also leave your thoughts below.

Edit: i guess I just personally see the game as being to easy already and doing this with seration will only make the game easier which isnt fun, so if this happen I'm going to need to run a 2 hour survival for a challenge and I dont want that I would rather take better and more difficult game play over a mod slot personally

The last thing we should do is reduce DPS on weapons.

This game is already an unbearable mob slasher/bullet sponge boss as is.

  10. I agree, there are some lower mastery ranks who are $&*^s.

Also, if they you saw that the people were struggling, why'd you keep spamming M Prime? Speed Nova makes it harder for some people. I know it's better but people still don't like it.

It speeds up the farm by a marginal amount.

Some people like that, particularly with infested because you can avoid close contact with them pretty easily.

  11. I was hosting a defense mission on a dark sector (it was a farm), one guy (rank 12) messaged me saying he had a Vauban, but he also had a frost if we needed it. I told him that frost would be more useful since the mission was defense. His response was: "You're fighting infested and you don't want VB, then I'm not playing, your loss. Do you even know who Vauban is. Probably not since ur only rank 6." He then put me on ignore.

The problem I see in Warframe is that a lot of higher ranking people have a habit of treating lower ranked people like crap. My friend is only rank 4 because he stopped using different weapons, frames, and companions when he got Valkyr, the Paris Prime, the Nikana, the Lex prime, and a Huras Kubrow. He found a loadout that works for him, so he decided that's all he wanted. I'm only rank 6 because for a long time, I stuck with a similar loadout (except I had a Dual Skana and Ash). I only recently started leveling up new weapons, so I'm behind my friends who have been playing about as long as me. I want to say that not all people who are higher ranking do this, and maybe it is not the majority. I have a few people on my friends list who are rank 18 and treat everyone kindly. It is just that the majority of the people I have seen do this.

I only have one fix: Just don't let this go unpunished. These people are making the game more miserable for newer players, and give the players who haven't met people who are like the MR18s on my friends list assume all high ranking player are like this. I had someone who assumed I was about to make fun of him/her because everyone around my rank and higher that he/she had talked to criticized her, and all I was doing was messaging him/her the answer to his/her question. Add a report system on the forums that require a screenshot of the wrong-doing, and punish players for acting like this guy. It doesn't have to be big, but it has to get the point across, and the punishment must be more severe as they stack up (ex: 3 reports are a 2-day ban in which the player can not log in for each one, 4 and 5 are week-long bans, ect.).

EDIT: I want to say a few thing. 1: I don't care if Vauban was the better choice. Frost fit our strategy, Vauban didn't. 2: I also want to point out here that this has not just happened earlier today. It has happened at least once per week to me since I started playing, and I am fed up with this. 3: I am not pinning this guy as an elitist because he was trying to give helpful advice, in fact, what he told me was not helpful at all.

    He was right, tho.

Vooben was the better choice regardless of your strategy.

  12. yet it happened someone actually made the math for the possibility it was 0.004% HOW in the bloody earth is that even possible?

Because .004% is still in the realm of possibilities when you have a large amount of people and are dealing with random number generation.

Just because it falls outside of the realm for a practical distribution, say, outside of a 95% area considered normal, does not mean it won't by random chance happen a lot more.

  13. i just had my 40th run (keyshare) on mutalist alad v and let me check my inventory hmm i have 24 mesa helmets and 16 mesa chasis and guess what no systems i know (guess) a lot of topics already exist similiar to this one but seriously? is this a joke? it takes minimal of 2-3 days to get 1 key and you find guys to keyshare just to be trolled by RNG? What is the drop rate of systems? 0.5%?

I got it in 4 runs.

However, it should be noted the potential for the grind is near infinite, but really teeters off at approximately 32 or so runs to the point where the likelihood of getting "first x part" is unlikely due to the amount of outcomes available.

That said, I have no doubt anyone could get 40 runs and not get at least 1 part. It certainly isn't out of the realm of possibilities, by any means.

  14. So I'm a newer player and lots of people have mastery rank requirements for squadding with them. I just got to mastery rank 6, and it isn't a problem, but it got me thinking.

Why do people care about it? Sure if there's a MR1 in my party they might not have much but a MR4+ can probably do anything you can do. Since all MR is a measure of how much of the content you've levelled up, why do people care? I can do t4 survival to 60 min or more, I have decent builds or can find them, I have corrosive projection, etc. I just haven't leveled everything because I'd rather grind for what I like first instead of leveling stuff for no reason.

Furthermore, I've played with absolutely terrible players with tons of rank, and players about my skill level with lower mr.

    Thoughts?

I'd imagine there is a direct correlation between time played and gear acquired.

  15. Many of you clearly missed the point of my post. I personally was not complaining at all, to be honest i do not care who's clan is first in an event. My point was its fine and good to brag, but when you literally tell another player be it here in the forums or in the game, you are no longer bragging if someone who is in clan that ranked 1st "I am better than you" it is not bragging anymore, its demeaning another player despite whether their clan was not active enough, or  if they did fight they just did not get that 1at place spot.

Yes its a game.. yes the clan aspect is competitive, but when you tell another player "YOU" are better than them because your clan got first place. that to be is not bragging anymore, that is just being a jerk to someone who is trying to enjoy the game. I have seen several instances when i hosted  and ran pub missions and have had one person say to another, they suck cause they are not part of a so called "Elite" clan.

Perhaps you take things too seriously.

I mean, really, we only have a He-said narrative here. Frankly, I wanna see what was said.

  16. First of all yes i know i will get negative feedback from this , it is expected but i feel i need to address an issue that many seem to avoid including the DE's.

Warframe is a very fun game, and clans have of course good reason to be there but also bad things. with the past few events and more so the aftermath there are a lot of posts from winning clans saying how they are number 1.this is fine  i do not mind bragging or saying for that event you were the first place in your tier, but there is an extent that is becomes more than just that, it becomes in my opinion an insult to all other clans and Tenno who tried their best with who they have in their clan and missed a trophy, or due to reasons could not do the event. sometimes even recently it has come down to certain clan members of a 1st place event clan actually demeaning other Tenno because their clan did not make 1st-3rd place.(also yes i know a few who have personally been told they are not as good as someone who's clan has a 1st place trophy in public games)

I feel this kind of behavior is a huge lack of respect to other Tenno and should be addressed.

If they're number wan, why shouldn't they proclaim their numba wan-ness?

  17. Did I simply not know this, or do nekros's not have to do damage as well as desecrate? I feel like they should still have to shoot and not just run around and hide behind the other players.

EDIT: I prefer it when they do a mix, shooting in between desecrates.

    ok2zib.jpg

I don't think you have any room to talk, I mean, you played VALKYR.

  18. Worst Pub moments? Every time I end up in a session with someone using a Nova (P), Soma (P) or Boltor (P), Gammacor / Synoid Gammacor load-out.

Honestly, I hate how the game isn't co-op, rather it's some sort of hideous race that brings the worst out in people. It's why I avoid pubs on higher levels; new players haven't been tainted by this trend yet and actually play the game like it's co-op. Usually, other people just ruin the game for me, it's why I usually play solo or only with my friends.

Because the game is a mobsweeper/bulletspongespam

No point in wasting your time on trash mobs for mediocre rewards.

     That isn't fun. At all.

  19. I...I don't get it. You're basically bragging, in Borderlands speak, "I rekt Terra in 5 seconds with Bee+CC!!!!1one!1!" when Bee and Conference Call interacted in a way Gearbox never intended to, and even then the people who found that exploit never bragged that they were "gud." No one thought anyone using an exploit was "gud"--and still, no one using Gunzerker to wreck OP8 raid bosses under a minute says he's skilled in the game, and anyone who claimed so would be ridiculed at, called noob, etc.

Finding the most efficient way to do something is generally part of being gud at game

  20. Velocitus Bullet can get stuck in the core, dealing increadible high damage

This is a design flaw that was not fixed, and scores were adjusted for it.

The fact that if you used the velocitus and this could happen by mere chance and would get you banned, is unfair. The flaw went unfixed, and nothing was done about it during the event, which I'd imagine some people would take this as a greenlight, since they have no actual way of knowing that this is a bug or intended. Furthermore, this would preclude the use of said weapon, which is also unfair.

  21. I just had to say it. I think they are balanced perfectly. You see the bubble coming in the distance and it make you focus on removing that enemy ASAP. They require players to stay agile, and they die easily from close melee even in late T4.

Anything that forces us to adapt our play style and makes the game interesting is ok with me.

    They aren't even hard though.

They're just another bullet sponge- just like everything else in the game.

    Nothing special.

  22. 1. Utter hatred of Archwing

    2. Not enough time to level up Archwing and collect all mods

    3. Only gain 1 point from one Fomorian Fleet

    4. An event during the holidays when people are away with Family.

    Response to these points:

    1. We won't blame you for hating it, but you won't get the rewards either. Your benefit; your consequences; your decisions.

    2. I believe the only ones who thinks this is true has never tried playing on Earth Archwing Interception mission. The mod drops have increased substantially since recent updates. Go type in WTB Archwing mods in the trading channel, you'll be flooded with messages in no time. Not enough time to level up Archwing? Sell your syndicate mods, warframe and weapon mods, prime parts; make up 40 plats, get your affinity booster for 3 days.

    3. The 1 point brings you closer to the rewards, the community did not agree to attack the Fomorian Fleet over and over to speed up the destruction--bringing in new Fomorian Fleets gaining more points. Kronian Relay's Fomorian Fleet went down, Vesper's Fleet arrived before the 1d 12hour deadline. 20 Fomorian fleets in 2 weeks.

    4. "I already got all my points, why bother?" other than the credits it offers, help out the other players unfortunate enough to be away during the holidays.

"Are you just mercenaries? Fighting for scraps? Where is this so-called Tenno honor?

    -General Sargus Ruk

We failed as a community to help out the others and have proven to be mercenaries fighting for scraps.

    Blaming DE is--meh...

The rewards only related to Archwing, despise it? You're not missing out other than another 3k MR points and dual stat mods.

The progress of the event based on our teamwork as a community.

These are based on my observations and the facts are not absolute.

The problem inevitably boiled down to the fact that DE chose their least polished game mode for an event, didn't really do a thorough check for bugs, and the attempts at fixing the scores were mediocre and ineffective.
