  1. As any experienced player will tell you, the mods matter more than the weapon itself. I would even go as far to say that, for melee weapons, the Stance Mod matters more than the weapon itself. So tell us, what is your playstyle, and what mods do you have on your weapon? Which Melee Stances have you tried and liked, and which ones can you not stand?

  6. This. You can quite easily solo both Tetalyst and Ropalolyst with a 111, and you do not need to kill or capture any Eidolons to get it. The game is very manageable if you take progression one step at a time and do not try to skip ahead. Plus, remember that you will have to get and rank up a 1xx Amp eventually for the MR, so it's not like you are building something totally useless.
  7. This. They cannot do it because it is a significant investment without a convincing increase in future revenue. Remember that DE is a wholly own subsidiary - their owners paid good money for them and did so expecting them to keep turning in good profits. Personally, I would prefer DE to keep up the profit margin and use it to bargain for continued design autonomy. It would be too easy for their owners to take that away if their profit margin plunges due to a move towards dedicated servers.
  8. In light of Darvo's latest communique, I would place my money on Clem because he is apparently much smarter than he appears. Either that, or the clone rot is setting in and we're about lose him for good. 😢

  12. Since this thread already has the Spoiler tag... The thing that constantly gets me is Eudico's "grass in the wind" eyelashes. I don't think DE invested too much effort into the Evolution Engine's handling of hair, which is somewhat understandable given how little of it we have in the game. As for the monochrome Excalibur model, that's just the default placeholder model while your system is loading -- you will also see it on Open Worlds and Relays as you spawn in and see other players. I do not see it on my Operator, though. Maybe I just don't have enough cosmetics on my Operator so my system loads her model faster than I can see? Well either that, or the others are right and we're all just turning into crabs. Would be quite a sight to see Eudico's head spout legs The Thing style and run out of her chest...
  13. This. While it is hard to find the perfect color, setting Mesa Prime's Tertiary to Cherub (7, 4) works well enough, IMO. You'll have to check the natural tint on that skin's part and try each color to find the best fit for yourself, though.
  14. Basically what everyone else said. DE, having created this game, has a monopoly on built Warframes. Players can only sell Warframe part blueprints, necessitating a 3.5+ day waiting period unless they are willing to pay DE for a speedup. This policy is consistent with other pieces of equipment as well. Even for blueprint-less weapons bought from Baro, you can only sell them if you have not used it yet. That said, you are absolutely free to sell a Warframe If you truly no longer want it anymore. I think DE pays anywhere from 10,000 to 25,000 credits for each?

  17. Half the time, I just get lost. The waypoints are seriously broken sometimes, and certain tilesets (looking at you, Kuva Fortress) are basically a maze. Add a Volt player tossing his 2 around like candy, and I mistime my jumps, taking much longer than I would like. But that said, it is just a single minute. I know the mission only took a minute so it feels like you're halving your efficiency, but in the end it is still just 2 minutes total. Does it really matter if folks waste a little bit of time getting to extraction?

  20. Tell that to the hundreds of millions they are raking in every year. That you would claim a highly successful game company's design as both "baffling" and "objectively and empirically terrible" is somehow not very surprising...
  21. BTW, there is an extant bug on Playstation (4 and 5) versions where the text entry is placed on the "wrong box" so you are unable to Release crew from service. While I have not been able to verify it myself, this has been reported in multiple languages, so I'm fairly certain it is a real bug.
  22. There are a lot of toxic players out and about, I would say just ignore them and move on. If they are really offensive, then take a screenshot and report them. That said, if you are new to Eidolon Hunting and do not have gear to do crazy amounts of damage, I would suggest bringing a healer and focus on herding the Lures. No one complains about me barely dealing any damage in a PUG because my Wisp keeps the Lures (and everyone else) alive and pumps everyone's fire rate. IMO, keeping the Lures alive is at least as important as taking down shields and limbs.
  23. From my understanding, yes. How to take currency out of circulation is a very important consideration for a healthy economy. Not nearly as important as how to get people to buy your currency, but taking currency out will help "combat inflation". That said, however, there is a very real limit to how much stuff one could farm and sell. So even if they do hoard every last plat they make, it is still nothing compared to the "real" sink, DE's own store.

As someone who used to use Wukong almost exclusively (but now only relegate him to Spy and certain trickier missions), and as someone who had a strong urge to create a similar topic at one time, I do have a few things to say. So, Wukong is a godsend for Solo and early players not rolling in resources. A free, tanky, duration-unlimited specter? It's almost like you're playing with another player! Three free insta-revives that even give you bonuses? It's even better than Arcane Revives, which you won't get until pretty far into the game. A move that lets you fly through laser barriers and heal at the same time? Why do you need any other frame for Spy missions? Nearly 1000 Armor and nearly 2000 Health allowing you to facetank everything? What's not to love? And therein lies the problem -- while there are other frames with a free companion (Khora), other frames that can remain invisible for longer (Loki), other frames that can fly better (Titania), other frames that are tankier (Atlas, Valkyr), no other frame has all of that in a single package. If you are a new(er) player, resource-constrained, and want to choose a single frame to invest in to carry you through as much content as possible, he is a no-brainer. Now, I get that he is a jack of all trades, I get that he is a trickster. But he is just second-best at too many things. Yet having said that, I do not know how he can be nerfed without totally ruining his utility. Maybe put his Wuclone on a time while giving him an Augment like Valkyr's Eternal War (but only extend the timer if the player and not the clone kills)? Maybe only let his passive kick in if he has a Wuclone present (the clone "dies" in his place)? Maybe make the clone weaker in a team setting so it's more relegated to Solo play (Wukong the character was kind of anti-social anyways)?
  25. You are really still at the first leg of your journey. At this point you should focus on clearing every node in the Starchart, as well as starting/finishing any Quests you get. Do some easy Open World bounties if that seems fun to you, but don't worry about pushing hard to level those syndicates until you at least clear the Starchart. Your approach to leveling frames and weapons is correct -- leave your strongest set for the bosses and nodes that you find hard. For the nodes that you are just mopping up, definitely use the equipment that you still need to level. There is a lot to do in this game, and it is easy to feel lost and/or burnt out. Remember to take a break every now and then if you are feeling burnt out; it'll still be there when you come back.
