JUst curious - does your "suit" does anything? Is it like base Excal?

As for topic, does this happen often? When playing Circuit I rarely get "suit" stuff - just random weapons at most.

I can run, jump, maybe bullet jump?  Maybe even slide kick?  But I'm definitely not surviving or killing anything without weapons or abilities, so I just quit with Alt-F4 this time.

It seemed okay for the past few weeks, but weird glitches have been really common this whole weekend.  The last time I noticed a period of unplayability was probably closer to Duviri's release.

  2. I've posted about this when Duviri was first released.  But seeing as it is still broken 10 months after it has been released, I have decided to write another post about it.

The Duviri Cave is a staging area just like our orbiter.  Matchmaking should not occur until after we pick our loadouts and indicate we are ready to play.

Even today, the current broken design still results in situations like this:

    PbzTSLI.jpeg

... as well as needless waiting for late-loading players, players running off to collect plants, players off buying intrinsics, and more.

I keep trying to come back to Duviri content as the rogue-lite elements are actually somewhat enjoyable.  But the fundamental design flaw coupled with crippling bugs just drains all joy out of playing it.

  3. Since this has basically become a Netracell horror stories thread, here's mine:

I recently had a Netracell mission where the Host decided to run all over the map.  Barely any enemies were spawning around the red circle and the 3 of us were just sitting around twiddling our thumbs until I finally decided to ask what they were doing.  The response?  "Can't find book".  And that was when I decided to abort the mission.

  4. So at least twice now, I've encountered this bug where, after getting knocked into the water in a Uranus mission, I lose the ability to jump as my Warframe after getting out of the water.
Not sure if this is the actual cause of the bug and I have not tested this extensively, but as far as I can tell, the recreation steps are:

    1. Get out of water in a Uranus tile (going from Archwing to Warframe form).
    2. Get knocked back in almost immediately by an Arson Eximus unit.
    3. Get out of water again.
    4. Lose the ability to jump and bullet jump in Warframe form.  Operator can still jump and void sling normally.

  5. So, being a stubborn (optimistic?) idiot, I decided to try Duviri again after quitting the game for a few months precisely because of buggy Duviri is.
Things were fine most of the week, and I even managed to farm a set of that Duviri frame (whatever his name is).  But then I started farming for his gun this weekend.  Big mistake.

Twice in a row now, missions locked up between stages and there was no way to proceed except quit.
In the first instance, I joined a squad that was ostensibly on Stage 2, but there was no objective marker and no way to proceed.
In the second instance, I joined a squad and played a Stage 2 undercroft mission.  After the mission, I was teleported back to Duviri without issue, but the Host was stuck in the undercroft and the next stage never appeared.

I do not know why Duviri is still this buggy what, 6 months after release?  Maybe this is abandoned content like that first iteration of Railjack?
But the low spawn rate of the "fight him in the arena" stage, coupled with how incredibly buggy these bounties still are, is really making me regret coming back to the game...

  6. What @chaotea wrote, but I'd also like to add:

Wisp's 3 is very powerful, and can be used in at least 2 different ways: either in conjunction with her 1 on Interception missions to quickly get around the map, or cast when an Acolyte shows up to quickly slice their face off.

Also, remember that you are invisible from enemies when you are in the air unless you attack. Works very well with Exodia Contagion...

  7. It's normal.  As everyone else wrote, It is absolutely weighted towards the lower end, and the higher bonuses are the exceptions.

Oh, and the thing about Lady Luck is that she does not give a crap about you.  Or any of us for that matter.  You can neither please her nor anger her no matter what you do.  She simply rolls her dice and metes out her reward or punishment, and we can only choose to continue for another roll or stop playing her game.

There is nothing different value wise as in game currency and crypto.even the u.s. dollar for that matter.

Hahahahaha... You might as well say there is nothing different between dollar bills and toilet paper. And if you agree with that, then I have a bunch of toilet paper I can trade you for your dollar bills, pound for pound.

I think what you are trying to claim is that everything is fiat. Of course everything is fiat. The difference is the issuing authority backing the currency. On the one hand, you have the country with the most nuclear bombs in the world, and on the other hand you have either a truly decentralized system (proof of work) open to sybill attacks and gobbling up power for no good reason, or a pretend decentralized system (proof of stake) backed by a bunch of (most likely) scammers.

There is absolutely no good reason for DE to ruin a perfectly good game with a pump and dump scheme, especially when the fad is already fading.

I know DE don't like this playstyle, but we exist after all. If we got proper tools , we can play like we want without pressure. When you like to play support/"minions damage dealer" why we get insult from other member ?

Well, that's your answer right there. You know DE is actively discouraging AFK, so obviously they are not going to buff specters. If anything, they will nerf specters even more.

While I respect your desire for AFK gameplay, I wholeheartedly support DE's decision to discourage and punish it with nerfs and penalties. I cannot stand leechers who stand around while other players do the work, and hope DE will implement even stricter anti-AFK mechanisms.

  10. While I would argue there are real benefits all the way up to MR30 (polarization becomes so much easier because I am always at max capacity for non-MR40 items), I agree wholeheartedly that MR is by no means an indication of skill.  Only how much one is willing to grind and/or how much they enjoy the pokemon side of the game.

With the possibility of Infested Liches, I highly doute DE will care to implement this, Numbers and Profit is what is on the table right now and DE could lose that sweet dollar if Liches can be removed/killed easily

    At least that's my guess

Well, I do think there are ways to implement a Lich-B-Gone system without losing too much engagement.  Either timegate it (Palladino: "The assassins are still recovering from their injuries.  Come back again in 7 days"), require specific resources like syndicate standing, or maybe even both.

Personally, my preferred solution would be to have the player apologize to and bribe the lich directly ("Are you sure you want to abandon all dignity and beg the lich to leave you alone?").  Show a cutscene of the player groveling at the lich's feet as the lich does a Captain Morgan over the player.  Make the cutscene drawn out and unskippable.  Then pause lich spawns for 7 days for that player to prevent ephemera farming.  😂

I strongly disagree this was their intentions for everything that is unexplained. It's just bad game design.

I respect your opinion and you could very well be right that it was unintentional.  As neither of us work for DE, we are both guessing at how things came to be this way.  But I will posit that:

    1. Things have always been obtuse in this game.  So much so that I find it hard to believe it was accidental.  Look at all the weird vocabulary, new languages, strange transmissions, ARG events, hidden collectibles dripping lore -- it actually took effort to make things this weird, and it cannot be explained away by just laziness or incompetence.

    2. The game has been incredibly successful in the past decade of its existence.  Now there are definitely a ton of reasons for its success, and perhaps having better-explained mechanisms would have made it even more successful.  But clearly the devs realized that they got something right, and continued to run with it.

So I'm not saying that the game is a role model for good game design, but it does seem to me that there was some intent in making it less straightforward.

i think the biggest thing honestly is the lack of transparency regarding the whole nemesis system, how it works etc

looking outside the game for info is not a bad thing, but the problem is that the game itself does not have this info. it should have it in the first place.

To be honest, I'm pretty sure the obtuseness is by design.  Just look at everything else in the game -- the made up words, the strange concepts...  DE intentionally injected a ton of "alienness" and mystery into the game, in order to pique our interest and imagination, and it works!

But if DE wants players to be intrigued and explore, then I think @Cerikus put it best with this comment:

If the game is unable to explain itself, it needs to provide a way to fix mistakes a player makes, because they are unaware.

It is mind-boggolingly ret_rded how newer players like me are punished so hard for something we didn't know we were getting ourselves into. I've never done higher-level content or liches because i never felt like it was worth my time, so, of course, i stabbed the Kuva Larvling thing because it TOLD ME TO and now i am being punished for SOMETHING THATS NOT MY FU__ING FAULT. DE, can you just make your game better please? Having the ability to abandon liches or making liches MR20+ Exclusives or something would make the game so much better and i feel that thousands of players are also agreeing with me on this. Hell, just telling us what we're actually getting into with like a pop-up screen is also a good idea. No players actively want to have poorly designed missions and hyperleveled content shoved down their throats, i don't care if i'm losing what the Lich stole just let me abandon it, I don't care about it or it's weapon. What i'm trying to say with this rant is let lower-level players (MR15 and below) opt out of Kuva Liches, when they didn't know what they were getting into.

I very much agree with you.  While I was well past that point when I spawned my first lich, it must be very frustrating finding yourself in this situation accidentally.  Until DE does offer the option to pay off the lich, my only suggestion is to keep playing the other planets and avoiding the high-leveled lich missions on the planet they are squatting on.  Your lich will taunt you a bit when you log in and "borrow" some of your loot when you do normal missions on that planet, but that's it.  Just ignore the lich for now, laugh at how you are ghosting them, and keep playing like normal.

  16. Well, just wanted to chime in and write that, while I would have much preferred for the entire Duviri release to be held back until proper testing and bug fixing were performed, this is the best solution for this particular bug and the team made the right call.  As no one caught the issue until players already made their selections and started working towards (getting?) Incarnon adaptors for this week, "fixing" this will would have created another disaster on top of the original one.  Plus on the bright side, some of the Incarnon nodes require you to equip all 3 Stalker weapons, so the more hardcore among us can now get that perk early.

I just hope this is a lessons learned for the team and we at least return to the original level of testing (which, admittedly, was also on the light side).  Oh, and whoever convinced everyone that Duviri was ready to ship?  Yeah, let's take this person's claims with a handful of salt, at least for the foreseeable future...

I am also experiencing this bug.

Final plot twist: This was actually a real roguelite and now you're locked into the weapons you picked until the day you die :)

I finally see why it is called the Duviri Paradox! The first 5 sets are only available the first 5 weeks, so in order to get the rest of them, we have to go back in time and make different choices!
