  1. Chroma is already top-tier meta for Eidolons, Orbs and any other bossing content (assassination sorties). He's completely unparalleled. If anything, Vex Armor needs a nerf.  Just take a look at people doing Orb solos with Chroma with 4 dragon keys equipped. Do you legitimately think Vex Armor needs a buff?

    There is no mod to "prevent nullifiers", and nullifiers affect all warframes equally. Why should Vex Armor (one of the best abilities in the entire game) have immunity to that? Just shoot the nullifier's bubble or destroy the drone. 

    Chroma already has the strongest weapon buff ability in the whole game (by far) + is one of the tankiest frames to boot. There's a reason all Orb and Eidolon speedruns rely so heavily on a good Chroma. Please inform yourself.

  2. Akbronco Prime has incorrect stats. Builder's base stats are 6 magazine, 215.5/35.8/107.6 IPS, 8.3 firerate. According to in-game & wiki, the correct stats are 8 magazine, 280/35/35, 5.5 firerate.

    There's another issue: The elemental damage names are incorrect. Pathogen Rounds says "90% Poison Damage" when the correct term is "90% Toxin Damage". This is important because you can search, in-game, by the elemental names: Cold, Heat, Toxin and Electricity, while in the builder that wouldn't work, you need to search for Freeze, Fire, Poison and Electricity. Matching the game's terms would make it easier on us.

    They said it could take up to Dec 3rd. They're still inside the given deadline.

     

    Personally though, IDGAF if they go over the deadline. Go ahead DE, take an extra day longer. Or a week. Work at your own pace, and deliver a polished, fully functional experience. Don't rush it out because some nerds at the forums told you to.

  4. Can anybody tell me what's the point of a tank, if he can't aggro? Why should I invite a Rhino to my squad, if the odds of my squishy Nova getting shot are just about the same? I'd much rather invite a CC frame, or a support frame. Both would keep my squishy Novabutt intact.

     

    DE, please for the love of Lotus, add an Aggro pull mechanic to Iron Skin. It would make me go from "Oh, a Rhino. What a waste of a squad slot" to "Sweet, a Rhino! I can remove Redirection now!". It will give him an ability to actually fulfill his role as a tank - he will be the protector of the team.

  5. There's no point to playing Archwing because it doesn't help you progress with the rest of the game. Yeah, sure, I'll run it once or twice for fun, then never touch it again. 

     

    If archwing missions rewarded valuable stuff (prime parts, rare stances, bigger chance at o-cells/neural sensors/neurodes) everybody would be playing them. 

  6. WE need to sell Nav Segments........ i have 273 Nav Seg, what to do with them?

     

    You craft orokin derelict keys with them, used in the extremely valuable Vault Runs. Check the wiki for their usage. 

     

    To anyone complaining about nullifiers, git gud. I regularly do T4 survivals and they never give us trouble, for we can pop their bubbles in a second or so. If you're so bad at aiming you can't hit that gigantic golden bubble, then you should reconsider playing an online shooter.

    A 5-forma Opticor takes 0.8 seconds to charge, effectively shooting two fully-charged projectiles every 1.5 seconds, each dealing 15998 total physical damage (14005 of that is pure puncture). It uses Firestorm so that when shooting on terrain, it will cause a 24% bigger explosion, and it has 1.2m punch-through to blast through groups of enemies. By replacing Vile Acceleration & Firestorm for Stormbringer and Infected Clip, you can reach 30,000 damage per hit where 14k is Corrosive and 15k is Puncture. However, the blast radius won't be that big and it will have a 1.3 seconds charge speed.

     

    Use the first one to take down hordes, second one for heavies. Quite powerful in my opinion.

    There are two per day or more, so I'd say a week, tops, if you have a job. If you have friends in-game, you can do this in two days max.

     

    DE has stated before in an interview that Oberon was one of the frames that least sold because of how easy he was to get, so they learned their lesson and made subsequent frames harder to get in order to increase their profit. 

  9. Short answer: Git gud

     

    Long answer:

     

    Step 1: Bind a key for dodge-roll. Dodge-rolling gives you:

     

    1) Buffed up defense during the animation

    2) Debuffed enemy accuracy during animation

    3) Clears stacks of swarm moa's nanite swarm (the blackening thing)

    4) Makes you immune to all knockdowns and pulls in the game, including fire eximus AoE, grineer heavy slam and scorpion/ancient grappling hooks

     

    Step 2: Stop playing braindead. Open your eyes. Pay attention. Look at that ancient's animation and range, try to predict when he'll hook you. Dodgeroll out of it or airkick him down. Learn timing. 

     

    Step 3: Dodgeroll if under stacks of infested swarm. Run if you see those enemies, or kill them quickly.

     

    Step 4: Equip Vitality before the toxin procs destroy your puny little 300 hp

     

    Step 5: You see that massive horde of dangerous and toxic mutants? So... DON'T JUMP INTO THE MIDDLE OF THEM. DON'T RUSH INTO A HORDE. Keep your distance. Jesus christ i can't believe i have to say this. 

     

    Step 6: Bring a frame with AoE abilities or bring an AoE weapon.  You're fighting against a horde. You knew this before you voted for the mission. If you don't perform as well as someone with an AoE weapon, you do not have any rights to complain. 

     

    Step 7: Stop treating the developers as if they were your mom. The infested are just beggining to get challenging and you guys already want to nerf them? No, no. Stop. Learn to play. Adapt. Stop with this "mommy i can't run braindead with iron skin around and win everything pls nerf enemies" behavior. They nerfed arc traps, they nerfed grineer's buffed accuracy, enough. Let at least one goddamn faction in this game be slightly challenging. 

     

    Step 8: Solo the Eris infested survival with Mirage & Vectis like I did. Enjoy being the 1%. You now got gud. Enjoy.

  10. Make both Iron Skin & Hysteria draw aggro while active. Hysteria stops having a max duration, and instead gains x seconds of bonus duration whenever you kill an enemy (x scales with power duration).

     

    Done and done.

     

    Edit:

     

     

    Having a very resilient friend able to stand in front of you and/or otherwise draw fire away from you is pretty useful.

    I'm not saying Iron Skin doesn't need an update in it's mechanics, but let's not discount the core idea of the tough guy protecting the squishies.

     

     

    The core idea is great. It's just that that's not how it works right now - my Mirage or Nova are always the center of attention, while the big and strong Rhino is there in the corner, not even being attacked. 

  11. 0 up-votes. That says it all. Ironskin needs love, not a nerf.

     

    Ah yeah, press 2 for 2000k extra health (which is equivalent of having a tank-build saryn standing in front of you blocking all shots) and makes you immune to knocks and makes you immune to procs and makes you immune to eximus effects. Uh-huh.

     

    It's a press 2 for godmode. It needs to be changed into something useful for the squad.

  12. The Problem:

     

    Having a Rhino in your squad, the tankiest possible (vigor, redirection, vitality, steel fiber, all power strength mods for iron skin), right now, does nothing for the team. It only protects Rhino. He's a selfish frame for selfish players who are unable to dodge.

     

    The Solution:

     

    While active, Iron Skin "pulses" aggro, drawing the attention of enemies. The area is very large, and does not scale with power range. 

     

    How does this contribute to teamplay?

     

    This means that the tankiest Rhino possible will, then, tank. He will survive and endure the fire from all enemies, letting his fragile buddies destroy enemies from behind. He will protect the cryopod, rescue targer or whatever else needs protection - Rhino's role will be the one of a protector. 

     

    Why not scale with power range?

     

    Selfish Rhinos will use negative range builds to make iron skin not draw any aggro to continue to be selfish. This build would become the new meta. It has to not scale from power range or it will not work. 

     

    How would it work?

     

    While Iron Skin is active, draw attention of all enemies in a 50m radius. This "pulses" every five seconds (to not strain the host with constant updating).

     

    Could this work with an ability augment mod?

     

    Furious Aegis: For every enemy that is targeting Rhino, he gains 2% extra weapon damage. Imagine this in ODD.

  13. List of Arguments and their rebuttals:

     

    Bows are better than snipers in every way.

     

    False. Bows can reach higher damage but sacrifice range and accuracy. Bows shoot arcing projectiles that take long to reach the target while a Vectis insta-hits your enemy and the projectile never drops. This means the Vectis' effective range is near infinite (as long as see them in your scope) while bows require ludicrous aiming, calculating and predicting enemy movement which sincerely is in most cases not viable. 

    Conclusion: Snipers are better in long range, bows are better in medium range

     

    Snipers are weak. 

     

    False. I hit 20k crits with my Vectis easily. If i bring Mirage and use eclipse, i can multiply that damage by 4, and if there's an electric-shield-stacking Volt in the squad I can easily go over 70k per shot. That's not weak at all. Just do headshots. 

     

    Fire rate is too slow.

     

    False. Press R as soon as you fire with the vectis to insta-reload it, skipping the automatic delay. This makes you shoot once every 0.7 seconds, guaranteed. 

     

    They don't have enough maps where they're useful. 

     

    True. Very few maps have long-range areas, and even there enemies don't fight back so there is no actual long-range combat. Also, Warframe is a zerg-based game where enemies attack in masses, which means the Vectis will always be below the Ogris unless you're fighting bosses.

  14. No. You want Carrier ability, use Carrier.

     

    We already had a radius boost to personal Pickups, it was more then enough. This is just because people "miss out" on mods running past, it has nothing to do with making the game better overall.

     

    You want Shade ability, use Shade. Oh wait, Huras Kubrow.

  15. Nerf....excal....satan takes us all....what is this non-sense D:

     

    Excalibur is far too OP as he is. One of his abilities stuns enemies for 4 seconds (not scaling with duration). Too OP please nerf. 

     

    Meanwhile miss "entire room fighting itself for 30 seconds" Nyx, doctor "press 3 a few times and the whole room is stunlocked" Vauban and mister "press 2 for complete godmode and immunity" Rhino are not even touched by the devs
