  1. DE probably thought people didn't bother playing RJ because it was too hard. While the reason why people didn't bother playing it initially was because it was a pretty hard grind for new players, and most importantly the "Content Island" burns out really fast. Like you unlock nodes and farm some essential intrinsics and avionics, and at that point there is literally nothing left to be done.

DE keep missing the mark by a long shot. I think the core team should play the game more.

I went back just to see if I missed something and no you really didn't.

Pretty sure you didn't bother to read because you are still fixated on one thing.

You just moved on to dismissing everyone else away as "snowflakes" and never bothering to say anything beyond that

    Wrong on many accounts.

I never dismissed everyone, the term snowflake applies to a certain group. I also explained my reasoning behind it(and went in on to the double standarts plaguing these forums in my latter posts).

I also ended up going beyond that and touched upon why there has been so much criticism in the last year or so.

Again, thank you for confirming my analysis. I had no doubts, but it feels good to be validated.

But I did. And you went on to repeat what I already dissected, trying to insult me in the process, proving my point, over and over again.

And a sh*tlord instead of actually making points tries to go after the other party, cause they're too up they're own rear. Also I find it hilarious that you think this is me "broken", when I'm more than willing to come right back here and call your clearly obnoxious a** out. As I said, you aren't anything close to what I've dealt with in the past and so far you're no showing different. You want the real "snowflakes" try looking towards the ones that whine about a particular name not being acknowledged on Home Time like a week ago. Now that's more fragile snowflake.

Yeah, its not about being a "bada**". Its about not 100% knowing the rules here and not wanting to ruffle any mod feathers, which I've had issues with elsewhere when going full off. Also rofl, sure it gives away my age. I mean I really don't care cause who does, but still its hilarious thinking that trying to avoid a bann/removal equates to an definitive age.

Using buzzwords does go even more towards sh*tlord status. Also looking over some posts of yours in this thread after mine here's my own "friendly advice": Everyone has the ability to speak freely (the right specifically is in regards to government not individuals, i.e. the US government can't restrict your freedom of speech, however Tom, Joe, and Jane are fully free to tell you to stfu and leave any time they want as they're citizens not governmental body), but what your type fail to take into account is that the other side is fully free to comment back on it and tear your a** apart over it cause its not some "untouchable shield". If anything it just puts a target for someone to take aim at.

I made my points. You got stuck on one tiny detail and got way too emotional. Also thanks for proving my point about snowflakes.

You’re always free to speak your mind in this beautiful country and I’d never dream of taking that away from someone.

I just think coming in to THIS thread just to take a dump on the game makes you kind of an A-hole, but sure I’ll defend your right to do it. You got me there. Carry on.

I didn't take a dump on the game, you can go back and read my posts. All of my posts are directly related to this thread.

People are so eager to label all threads that criticise DE or the game as toxic and it is perfectly fine to post disagreeable comments in those. But it is not "OK" when I disagree with a thread which praises DE. Don't advocate double standarts. Let people speak their mind.

That’s just YOUR opinion that they aren’t doing anything good.

I’m all for criticizing DE but if other people want to be positive why can’t we just let them? Plenty of other threads where we can criticize freely without derailing the topic.

Did I delete this persons thread, his/her posts ? Tell me, who isn't letting these people speak their mind ? He/she is free to "spread the positivity."

Just as I'm free to tell him/her that he/she is extremely prententious and that arse kissing can't get any more obnoxious than this.

So let me ask you the same question. Should they let me speak my mind or not ?

I’m glad to see you had more of an agenda yourself than just making someone mad.

I did not pick up on this until just now. Can you point out the things you said that expressed this idea that you hold? I’m all for giving people a chance to say their piece, and am wondering if I missed the indicators that this is what you were trying to convey.

You can go back and read my initial post if you are so eager.

Out of curiosity, what do you consider the “egg in the face of a politician” equivalent on the forums?

A protest of any kind within reason. Can be a one liner, or a meme, or a paragraph. It is ok, as long as it hits the mark.

This thread was supposed to be about positivity for a change, but you had to come in and take shots at Rebecca. That *hijacked* the thread and now we are here.

    Positivity where positivity's due.

It is DE's job to create the positivity. Not the community, in the most pretentious way ever.

I'll be the first one to make a thread praising DE when they actually do something good with the game.

The whole point I spoke to you in the first place was to indicate it’s worth looking beyond the presentation, but if you refuse to do so 🤷‍♀️ If you struggle to identify what people are saying because you get hung up on how they’re saying it, then you have a good idea what it’s like to try and interpret some of the posts that have been floating around (particularly around when Scarlet Spear first dropped most recently).

It’s cooled off lately, but those posts that are observations wrapped in distracting emotion can still easily be found

If I didn't look beyond presentation then I'd stop reading after he called me a "sh*tlord" wouldn't I ? I'm not just disagreeing with his attitude. I'm also disagreeing with the mindset that people shouldn't be allowed speak their minds and be content with anything that they are given, whether they like it or not, which the sentece I quoted clearly represents.

Also not every thread posted on these boards is supposed to be articulate. Sometimes a politican gets an egg in the face and that method delivers the message as good as any.

So the snowflake expectation is unrealistic and unwarranted.

What am I looking at here? 🤔

Did you pick apart the post? There are some points that I feel are worth considering in it, and I wonder what you might make of them. A few of them might align with some of your own thinking, and perhaps there’s common ground between you and @CrimsonXX (never know until it’s explored)

There is not much to pick apart. His agenda is very clear :

People need to stop being entitled/spoiled sh*tbags and either wait for the changes or move on to another game even if to later return when things are in a better state for them.

What did I initially say in my earlier post ? "Shut up and take it, and be a good boy."

Snowflakes tend to be very defensive and fragile. Which is a horrible combination.

rofl, riiiiiight you want to go rounds with me then go right ahead with this idea that you think you're dealing with a "snowflake"

That's the problem. You can't deal with a snowflake. They break too easily. Case in point.

Also a friendly advice, using cuss words on a forum doesn't make you badass. It just gives away your age demographic.

Here’s a chance to see how important presentation of points is.

Look through @CrimsonXX’s post. Try to sort the emotion from the objective. Pick it apart and search for where they speak true. They’re obviously passionate, wouldn’t you say?

Identify the hesitation you feel to treat them as someone speaking from a different perspective, deserving of the basic respect needed to listen. Notice how you want to dismiss them because you felt attacked

Let me guess. You are an expert on depicting human behaviour based on forum posts. Do you do online counseling as well ?

I think why there has been a lot of toxicity around lately is because players are sick and tired of the recent decisions by DE. Is the toxicity necessary? No, but I do think the criticism is fairly reasonable though. While yes, DE is getting a ton of crap thrown their way right now, you gotta take a step back and ask yourself why is this happening? Why are players constantly complaining about the recent updates and arguably for years now?

I don't even think it is toxicity.  That has been the snowflake defense mechanism for a while now. Calling any kind of criticism "toxic." You have to shut up and take it. Be a good boy.

Most criticism of late have been 100% legit. And they haven't appeared out of the blue. There were criticisms 2 years ago. And now they have multiplied. That is the only difference.

DE really needs to take a step back here and take a long hard look at the updates they have released in the last 1.5 years. It is pretty obvious a considerable amount of the playerbase don't like the direction the game is going.

DE should go back to dropping more frequent updates, and expanding the lore via quests or other meaningful content. That's what has been absent in the last year or so and the game became extremely stale. I'm not surprised that the board is filled with complaints or suggestions at this point. I'm more surprised that DE hasn't made any changes or made any effort to adress those.

Depending how something is not revealed could classify it as "lying by omission."

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lie#Types_and_associated_terms

I'm just a curious spectator. I have no opinion here!

"For example, when the seller of a car declares it has been serviced regularly, but does not mention that a fault was reported during the last service, the seller lies by omission. It may be compared to dissimulation. An omission is when a person tells most of the truth, but leaves out a few key facts that therefore, completely obscures the truth.",

Not even remotely the same thing. Good try tho !
