  1. Hi,

DLSS 3.7 is released and it is pretty decent. I was tinkering with it a bit on Dragons Dogma 2 and Cyberpunk. Warframe for some reason does not allow me to update the DLSS version. WF is on 3.1 and I try upgrading it to 3.7 through DLSS swapper but the launcher reverts it back to dlss 3.1. Is there a way around it?

Or will WF upgrade it's dlss version in the near future ?

Squad bugs aside, the biggest issue with the new incarnons requiring conduits is that by the time that you've built them, you've probably already gotten everything else there is to farm from the disruption mission, meaning that you're going to be sitting through at least five rounds of a mission you're probably bored sick of with no chance at a meaningful reward besides seeing a number slowly tick up.

Yeah totally agree. They should be basic stuff like kill 50 enemies with incarnon or get 10 headshots on a survival mission so that they don't disrupt your regular gameplay.

I'd like a total overhaul though, to make incarnons more meaningful but I don't want to get into that just now. Just a basic simplification process would work for now.

  3. I'm @ "use heavy attack three times on scathing and mocking whispers" for a while now. I've played 5-6 missions and I haven't seen those things. Prior step was also not working in a squad and it took me a while to figure out so I lost hours already.

Please make these challenges more accessible. They are chores either way, making them more tedious will only make them worse. Doesn't contribute anything positive to the gameplay experience.

  4. The 2nd phase of Ruvox incarnon requires 8 eximus kills with the incarnon transmutation. Eximus kills don't trigger it all the time. Incarnon heavy attack kills never add to the counter, it is bugged. I was able to get 2 out 8 no idea how I got the 2. Not even sure if each regular kill adds to the counter, doubt that.

The content draught is insane atm, guys release the update PLEASE

We've went through 6 month periods where there was no content. These days they are dropping something every 3 months or something. But yeah, sadly WF content dries out very quick. They still haven't been able to implement a meaningful end(less) game. And likely will never do so since it's a 12 year old game at this point and likely on it's last leg.

  6. TBH I didn't have high hopes for this update, but DE delivered. Pretty decent quest, came with new enemies, characters, tileset and a bit of gameplay upgrades.  Yes, the novelty eventually wears off but this reminded me of the old days when I was excited for each new update and warframe because it brought something new and improved upon what we had.

You want some cheese dude? That wine youve got is sour.
Because you clearly missed it, there was a bug many months ago now that stopped people from being able to do SP duviri at all. DEs fix for that was to reset it for everyone and make new players have to do them on normal first too.

So take your tears, bottle them up, and go do the boring arse grind that is abyss extermination.

Still doesn't answer my quesiton, and I will not repeat it. Work on your reading comprehension if you want my attention.

Strangely you seemed to have no problem wasting time to type out this post,

Sorry I can't take anyone seriously after posting something as irrational as this.

I repeat, this was probably just a side effect of a bugfix, not an intentional slight against you

Intended design: all players, veteran and newbie, have to complete non-SP to unlock SP
Accidental oversight: veterans can do SP right away instead of unlocking it
Equally-accidental bugfix: previously-completed SP is locked until you complete the never-completed non-SP

They're not punishing you, just do the non-SP and get back to your daily grind

I'm guessing you didn't read the second half of my message - "because they accidentally let users play SP content prior to completing regular Duviri modes".

Still doesn't adress the issue. They could have fixed the bug and let players who have completed SP variants already continue on, rather than forcing them to go back to the tutorial. And new players who haven't touched the content yet could have done it the right way.

I'm just pointing out how nonsensical it is for the devs to force people to complete the tutorial when they clearly don't need it. And there are people who are defending it. It's insane.

That’s….. what a tutorial is….. you do the thing on a normal mode to get that feel. Only when you actually know what’s going on (in most cases) do you get to do the hard mode. Plus if you wanted to do SP, the best warm up is through normal mode. Or you can be like me and do the Duviri quest then ignore Duviri for the rest of your warframe career :p

The intent is that because it's new content they want to start you out on the easiest level and work your way up, just as you did the star chart with steel path. The only reason I could understand the frustration is because they accidentally let users play SP content prior to completing regular Duviri modes, so upon correcting it required all users who hadn't to do so.

Like others have stated, it is really just 1 run and you'll never have to touch it again if you don't want to.

When Duviri first came out, I went for SP immediately. So all my runs were done on SP. Never bothered playing circuit or Duviri on normal mode. So I'll ask again(hoping this time you'll use an ounce of your intelligence while answering), why does the game force someone, who has completed the said modes on highest difficulty over and over again, to play the tutorial?

Someone's definitely out of touch and it isn't the devs in this case. You'd have likely finished both runs in the time it took you to go to the forums and post this thread.

So we just shut up and take bad design decisions?

Those dev boots ain't shiny enough. Chop chop back to work.

  9. So I've been playing on and off for the last year or so and recently I thought it would be fun to go back into the Duviri Experience and the Circuit and I realized I couldn't, because the game was telling me to complete the "normal" mode for each node to be able to play them on SP. Now, I've played them only on SP from the start because the normal mode, aside from posing absolutely no challenge to me, is pretty unrewarding for a veteran. So what's the point of forcing me to play on normal difficulty, out of the blue? I don't want to waste my time, especially on circuit because it takes a while to complete the whole thing.

There are thousands of posts on the forums on how inadequate the end game is, that veterans need more challenging and rewarding content etc, and yet the Dev's go ahead and force someone who almost never plays anything outside SP to play on normal mode, a mission I've already done countless time on a higher difficulty. That's a textbook example of being out of touch with the playerbase.

To me, 92.99 CAD ain't worth dropping on a bundle designed around predatory practices that the gaming community as a WHOLE has been getting increasingly sick of.

Well said. These companies act like inflation and regressing economy only hurts them. Even with regional pricing these skins expensive.  What happened to inclusion and accessibility? I guess those only matter when it comes to culture war.

Same issue here, massive RAM leak, probably only has to do with duviri. I find that it happens if I alt+tab, clearning the memory after doesn't seem to fix the fps drop and you need to restart

Yeah I can confirm ISLC does not work with it.

Were there specific areas or maps that this occurred on? If it's just isolated to Duviri that makes sense (as it's new and potentially less optimized), but the engine should also free up / clean up any allocated resources that are no longer reserved when leaving an area. Having any memory leak isn't ideal, but if it's isolated and takes a long time to be an issue then it might just be low priority.

I've only played Duviri today and I haven't noticed anything remotely similar in my previous sessions(with the possible exception of railjack) so I'm guessing it is currently isolated with Duviri. I think having too many load screens and mini missions may be the culprit, which Duviri has plenty of.

  13. I'm using ISLC to monitor my memory and it starts with 5gbs and goes up to 10-15 after a couple of hours. I'm not sure if WF had big memory leak issues priorly but with Duviri it is pretty apparent.

Primary fire: regular daikyu but with better stats and improved projectile speed. maybe by 50%.

alt-fire mode: consumes 10 ammo to fire 10 arrows with +500% projectile speed, ricocheting off surfaces and locking on to nearby enemies (think Overwatch's Hanzo's old Scatter Arrows but on crack).

    This actually sounds better.

OR a similar alternative would be the Rama bow from Hades. Spreads damage over multiple enemies.
