  1. Well there was a quick stream that ended prematurely about this stuff. Sounds like they are working to get it back up now. But refuse to give a timeline of when it will be ready. So it's possible this week. But more likely the next if not later.
  2. Oh gotcha. Ya while you can build a k-drive and that can use mods. The standard one you use with the launcher is unmoddable untill you build your own. Very similar to the kaithe in function. I agree that there should be a more accessible option for players to get around in open worlds. The most effective way would be to make the archwing launcher a simple fully built inventory item like the other two. Which is given to you once completing the archwing and saya's vigil quests.
  3. I feel like very few people are actually using TS at all even on normal starchart. I keep hearing about this ability on the forums or reddit. Only to never encounter anyone using it in pub in a noticeable way.
  4. To my understanding you get the K-drive launcher as soon as you finish the vox solaris quest. Allowing the player access to K-drive very early. In fact if memory serves. players who speed run the quests will have the K-drive and not archwing in open worlds for a while. As the Archwing launcher has build requirements where kaithes and K-drives do not. I forget exactly what update changed things (maybe waverider?) but K-drive was a non-weapon vehicle for a long time restricting player access to weapons. Kaithes and K-drive both only allow the player to use a secondary while riding.
  5. If going the desktop route you only really need a halfway decent processor and a dedicated graphics card over a certain level. I built mine in 2011 the most recent upgrade is an R9 290 from 2013 to replace my GTX560ti (goodwill find). Plays the game well. Not ideal but you've got plenty of room to build with as it concerns warframe.
  6. Not a dev but as someone who has merged it is stuck on the progress of the main account. You do keep inventory. So if you say... have a bunch of debt bonds on your PS account. You can use those to speed up the process.
  7. Ouch. I've said it should be possible for folks such as yourself to be let out. Basically without completion of the quest. But after so long how are you still stuck?
  8. Have you been stuck all this time? If so that's rough.
  9. I still regularly sign into both my PC and Xbox account to play. The only difference for me now is that it's the same account.
  10. Yes if you make the XBox account your main you will have to regrind all your progress with the exception of actual mastery. You'll still have the redo the tests. If you make PC the main you will get all the progress and keep Xbox stuff. But you will loose the "age" of your account. My PC account was apparently a 2014 account (I thought it was younger) and my Xbox from 2019 (thought it was older). I kept Xbox primary as most of my MR and progress was there. Good news is with inventories merged syndicate progress might be more easily achieved given things like bonds, stock, and tokens will stay no matter which account you pick.
  11. I've already made mine which is that it will be the second week of January. Post history on the forums says that the second week after New Years is when they start doing things. So next Monday at the soonest with Wednesday the 10th being the expected time frame for new stuff/news. I know people are hoping sooner but they have to my understanding always taken 2-3 weeks off for the holiday season.
  12. I actually kind of like railjack. I think the issue is that it plays way better solo or with a premade squad. (most things do in warframe but this moreso) So anyone enjoying it is likely playing it that way and not in public. I literally refuse to run even fissures in a squad in railjack.
  13. Because if you spend time in the forums, reddit, twitter, discord, or any of the other official sources of Warframe info. This has been discussed to death already. The time frames and why the window was "so short" From the perspective of someone following any of these sources if feels a little weird you coming on the forum saying "you didn't know" Not because you didn't actually know. But by design there's benefits for those who choose to be in the know. It's not really on DE to make sure you are up to date on all the important things coming to the game. Even though we know they are absolutely terrible at it. Not in anyway calling you out. Just explaining what probably feels like a weird response from where you are coming from. Also as a courtesy, explanation of what and why paraphrased. They started when they said they would in December but ran into issues. Founder access opened a few days late because of that. More issues happened. Open to more people on the 21st. (PC Prime Access) Two stress tests open to all were allowed. One for a couple hours on the 22nd and all day the 23rd. 100k people participated. So they were satisfied with the amount of users that were able to make it. But admit it's still too buggy to leave live over the holidays.
  14. That's for the best (grinding on both accounts as much as you're comfortable with). We now know everything is added from both accounts that goes into your inventory. Things like syndicate standing, intrinsics, and focus don't carry over. So you can leverage that by adding lots of things to your inventory and not duplicating items unless necessary. fill empty slots so they don't disappear (rivens excepted). All active loadouts are carried over as well. So you can fill them on both accounts and change them after the merge. If both are up to current content you can double your shards per week.
  15. I TLDR'd your OP. But I will acknowledge that it appears to be well thought out based on other replies. I played the TFD beta on Xbox with my friend. And... well. I don't see that game officially dethroning Warframe. Destiny 2 sure. But not Warframe. Mostly for me it's the movement. It felt too Destiny, outriders, borderlands and whatever other looter shooter is out there. While we all complain about the content here. Warframe adds things to the game in leaps and bounds over the previously mentioned games. I think this is part of the reason the grind is so felt. Because you're always grinding for a new thing. Where most of those other games have equal to worst grinds but on so much less. I think the issues with bugs and QOL should be addressed but we have to acknowledge how big of a disincentive DE has in trying to do that on any kind of significant scale.
  16. That's what I thought. So making it a permanent strip on hit alone would help Nyx a lot. Especially if you could spam cast it with no negative effects.
  17. I like mind control as a distraction ability or to make use of eximus auras once overguard has been stripped. I think psychic bolts could be improved if the defense strip was permanent and removed overguard as well. (it's not permanent right?) Chaos would help if it did something different than just "confuse" enemies. Maybe if it caused damage done to you to hit other nearby enemies instead. Not sure how to fix absorb... maybe if it allowed you to float with it on without the augment. While sucking in damage like the orb angels have. So you could activate it above a defense target to protect it.
  18. At some point Fibonacci says somethin about activating more than one at once. I've noticed that when you do the eyes spawn faster. Also enemies in the circle seem to delay the mechanic as well.
  19. It's already in the known issues thread and will require a code fix.
  20. From a lore/story perspective I would say it's the first time the Orokin empire has interacted with the void. Albrecht's experiments and obsession with 1999 seems to indicate there may have been something that led to a discovery concerning the void in that time. My opinion and guess is that the appearance of the form of the "man in the wall" might have to do with that concerning it's resemblance to this. It's pretty well known that this is something humanity shares when trying to contact non-human entities in space and other. Especially in science fiction. Something being void means it has no shape or form. It takes Albrecht's shape when he enters the bell. So where does the man in the wall's "wall form" come from?
  21. I'd honestly give them to the second week. Post history seems to indicate return by the middle of the second week or there abouts.
  22. I will also parrot the two posts above. Aoi and Arthur skins at best. Although I would just like to have the "tactical pouches" as an auxiliary option for the frames.
  23. Oof. But hey at least you are doing it. I built mine like this when I had it. (Lost it in the merge but it's honestly not a big deal when you keep it small) From the left of the starting clan room: Cross hallway connected to two energy rooms Drydock connected to lich room Navigation From the right of the starting clan room: Inspiration hall (with 4 research rooms) Orokin Entrati Audience hall (remaining research rooms) Cross hallway connected to two T's and the Oracle room Another two energy rooms connected to the T's That's it.
  24. I'm leaning to the Man in the wall essentially being the void or abyss itself. That whole "stare into the abyss, the abyss stares back" gives the idea of why there are supposedly doppelgangers that seem to speak for the characters themselves and the void itself. The deal of getting the powers in the void. The void powers themselves seem to be both everything and nothing on their own. The operator/drifter themselves are a being now both physical and metaphysical. With and without form. Much like the man in the wall. My only theory could be that the pivotal year of 1999 is a reference to the first recorded instance of humanity interacting with the void. Thus the form an interest the void takes is based on that initial experiment. Thus the players' role will be preventing (or more likely altering) that experiment in order to calm the void. This would likely also pull inspiration from the concept of the warp from Warhammer 40K and/or the "idea of evil" from Berserk as well. Human emotions and souls heavily effecting the indifference.
  25. No offense to you but that does sound like a joke. Why would you build all the barracks? Like just in general. Not even for the event. I built my own dojo and used the wiki to make sure I built only the things that were required. You just need the important rooms, a bigger clan hall, and the energy rooms. Depending on where you are at I would just delete the whole thing and start over. As I can't believe you finished research for most of the blueprints.
