I experience the same. I primarily use the stand alone client. On the rare instances I use steam I never see the achievements update. There's a chance the might though as the game itself seems to track certain achievements.

I've been looking for the same. No one appears to have any real information. My guess is that all progress that is not managed via inventory will be overwritten by your main account. I'm hoping for an overlap on things such as intrinsics and focus. But I'm not holding my breath. Also I would expect more info to drop either during or after the game awards today.

Basically and the best use of it is when you are accidentally spotted. In the sneaky sabotage for instance. They will chase you and veil you before you get the orbital strike. So hitting them with the veil will make it like they never saw you after they wake up and flail for a bit. It was a wonderful panic button when I was running those missions.

Indeed. I was going to suggest that DE offer an "xtra plat" option that would offer the plat needed to buy the items on console for a slightly higher cost. It sounds like an easy compromise. But I doubt the console platforms would be okay with that knowing that the plat was purchased on PC.

I think it will work the same way as if you purchased it twice on the same account. Cosmetics to my understanding simply stack and are untradeable. Issues of slots like rivens and loadouts or instances of items being in the foundry are more complicated. I do wish they would speak to how those are being handled.

I was pretty sure they moved at the base speed. With the Drifter skeleton being slight larger than the typical warframes.

Yep same reason the drifter feels slow. I mean they are slow. But they wanted them to move at the same speed as the operator (Child sized sprite). When in the New War they moved at Warframe speeds.

Interesting language in the guide.... Sounds like my jade skins will be available on both PC and Xbox but not PlayStation specifically? Also indicates that the restrictions are mostly dealing with legal matters between platforms. I hope there could be a compromise with founders' items.

^ Ya I have bought a couple of "Jade Bundles" I can't use those skins and armor pieces when I play on PC on after the merge. Biggest ouch will be the color palette. Although I'm hoping it just won't be selectable. Instead of those colors disappearing.

You think I would remember. I did about three months of Kahl missions on two accounts every week. Then I just said to myself. "I've got enough stock and I don't really need these shards that bad" I think after that I went to the shop once. Noticed ol' chip had a shard I needed and I bought it.

Makes me wonder if there's a specific mission that corresponds to a specific shard. As in junk run = Blue. Because when you run out you could just focus farm the mission you hate the least to build back up once you need the rotation again. This is all speculation for me though. As I've stopped interacting with kahl and the camp until there are changes to the actual missions in rotation and not just the challenges and reward structure.

Off topic observation here.... But if the store doesn't rotate if you don't do the hunts.... Does that mean there's a way to leave it on the red shard permanently? Might be a neat work around on the system for those who have stocked up and only waited for the red shard to happen.

Updates have had a relatively consistent schedule of being on Wednesday. So that makes it likely to be the following dates. 6th, 13th, 20th. Of those three I say the 13th is the most likely. Space mom indicated she would be doing other things after the game awards. essentially taking the weekend off. So I would put that as the 13th all hands being on deck. But it could be a surprise of it going on the 6th or 7th.

I personally would do call of the tempestari then the new war. But that is just me.

I didn't realize this mod effects all players in the squad. Ya that should definitely be changed.

I'm in a similar situation. Merge appears to be the way to go. However, they really haven't given much information as to how some of the more tricky things will be handled.

Indeed. If it's a coding issue trying to fix the code would be best. I was assuming it was a legal issue of players having something that was never offered on consoles for sale. Which would make the compromise for tennogen purchased before the 24th a much bigger deal.

While I agree with the sentiment. I want to counterpoint there is some consistency on their part in not allowing those items on console. So I would like a greater breakdown on what isn't going to transfer, why it won't, and how one prepares their account for the most easy path to merging.

I was at MR10 or something like that for years. Then when I heard Helminth was coming out and going to be MR15 locked. I built a bunch of weapons and frames I hadn't bothered with. Turns out a bunch of that stuff is kinda fun. So just casually trying things out I am now MR27. My alt/smurf account is now 18 not even trying for mastery. So 🤷‍♂️ I guess.

Seems like an opportunity to have a mod that greatly increases multishot or the like at the cost of ammo efficiency.

More hand wringing over shards with the announcement? I'll hold opinions on this directly. Instead I'll just say it will be neat to be able to finally have one of a different color for each slot so it seems like I'm holding the infinity stones. It'll pair well with the shard ephemeras as well.

This is the thread I was thinking of making myself. Here are my specific concerns. Duplicate items and Mastery Rank - Do I get all the frames and weapons I made on both accounts excluding special exceptions. Weapons I have already mastered on my alt and not my main. Do I get that mastery? One specific instance I have nikana prime on the PC but not the main XBox. Archon Shards - I haven't missed a hunt on either account and did a bunch of Kahl missions (At least 3 months worth). So between the two I have a bunch. Many in frames already. Will my alt's shards get thrown away? Quest items - So ya Umbra. I'm caught up on both accounts that means I would potentially have dupes of all quest items to date. Do all items except, specific only one per account, get a second set. Broken scepter, broken war, Nataruk, xoris, rumblejack, sirrocco, sun and moon, and etc. I don't expect to get two Umbras, Parascesis, and Skajati. But I do have that on both accounts. Foundry Items - So I have a habit of leaving completed blueprints unclaimed in the foundry. Generally only one blueprint of a same type will be allowed. So if I merge with the same item built on both accounts. (i.e. Forma) Will the one on the alt be destroyed in the process? Also the dojo question as mentioned in the OP. I built a solo dojo on my alt. Mostly because I got kicked without notice from a clan I joined specifically to get clan research from. All necessary rooms have been built. Is there a way to keep this work when I do the merge? Extra - Difter/Operator. I'm assuming one will overwrite the other. But I just would like confirmation on this. What about focus? Do I get it back on the on the main in the way of shards like the rework did?

I feel like I stated something like this was going to be the case multiple times. But it seems many still believed they were going to get the chance to buy lots of tennogen on console with their thousands in traded plat. (which honestly sounds like it will still be the case. You just can only use it on console once cross-save drops.) I honestly appreciate the compromise as I did buy some tennogen on both accounts well before this. Going forward I probably will be careful with my purchases. Can there be a Dev tread about concerns of cross-save and player inventories at large? Things like mastery, syndicates, duplicate frames, and Foundry items.
