it feels like physics went back to 1.0,

After saying this I thought I should check what my settings are and make sure that experimental flight model was on, and it was, so I don't have to retract this point as mistakenly turning off 2.0. It's not turned off.

If it were off I'd turn it on and test again.

    But it isn't.

  2. Tralok is the only fish I've encountered yet the base spear doesn't onehit, so I haven't obtained the other spears. Im not looking forward to using 2 more gear slots for spears when I start needing them. And, idk if I will need them anyway. Still catching plenty of Tralok even if it takes more hits.

The issue is focus is intended for the long haul, something that takes months to complete. I am sure the first person to finish it will express how bored they are since they will most likely have nothing to do once they're done. Until they come up with a better time sink for players, focus will have to stay the way it is.

It's not going to take months though, closer to a decade. Unless you dedicated cheese farm and burn out, then it will still take over a year, minimum

  4. I meant to post here but it went to the post I found this one from.

    Agree with everything.

Quick napkin math puts daily cap at 12 hours for me, running something I currently find fun, but would stop finding fun if I had to do it every day, but I *can't* because it takes more time than a full time job and I have to do one of those already.

  5. Just did some napkin math, with some assumptions, and by doing something I consider fun, it would take me about 12 hours to daily cap. And that's still doing what convergence encourages, killing everything in a mindless horde mode. That's more hours than a day job.

  6. I agree with everything in the op and video.

Convergence is the opposite of what it's supposed to be.

The cap is unattainable and therefore irrelevant.

Lenses are restricting, not in the spirit of Warframe.

The system looks unattainable, I had some points in every school, enter 2.0, I want to get operator passives for the secondary schools, and I can't get a single one. I had 4 (3, because 1 was Unairu) useful trees in 1.0, but in 2.0 I have 1 that's even *useable

I've run a few missions that I could tolerate as a focus farm, and a sword will easily level up 0 to 30 in 1 run to 20 minutes btw, hundreds of thousands of Affinity, feels great! Until I see only a few thousand focus. With Booster.

So it's going to take me 9 years too. This is over twice as long as I've already played the game and attained MR 24, maxed every Syndicate multiple times, Mastered every Warframe, weapon, Archwing, companion, put loads of forma in things.

I support moving lens to operator,

    I support removing convergence,

I support adding focus to end of mission rewards,

I support removing the pool capacity system entirely,

I support making focus feel possible to unlock

  7. Convergence is supposed to encourage you for doing what exactly? Stuff we already do, and have to take a break from to abandon the objective and teammates to go pick up a thing to return to what we were already doing. It's not interesting, it's not interactive.

It's distracting and micromanagement. Nothing fun about it.

Also agree about the capacity, pointless.

  8. Absolutely support this. Just to build one Zaw I went like orbiter>Cetus >orbiter>plains>cetus>orbiter>cetus>orbiter or something. Kept having to return to orbiter to start or claim components, and the plains to get more pyrol.

  9. I agree the disablers are insulting to the forma, plat, dukats, time, credits, and endo (and fusion cores) that I put in to making my Archwings durable and powerful. Especially when they completely bypass abilities that are supposed to block, nullify, or redirect exactly that sort of attack. My wings can survive a Fomorian to the face but not small arms fire?

    Beyond that:

    • Controls:
      • Give them a separate key binding and options area, I need different settings from grounded Warframe to Archwing
        • Ascend and Descend, must be able to separate from jump and toggle crouch
        • Must be able to separate Afterburner and Ascend
    • Deployment:
      • Make it smooth like Operator, you did well making this more smooth than before, then went 180 degrees with Skywing
      • Press button to toggle Archwing
        • Make it a new button to bind
        • Require the Archwing remote to be in gear wheel, but operated from the keybind, like Ciphers
        • Could default it to the same button as Cipher, but make it a separate binding. If same button, if hacking while in Archwing, make Cipher the priority, don't eject from Archwing while in a hacking puzzle.
      • Deploy directly to player, not some point on the ground 3 seconds delayed
    • Physics:
      • it feels like physics went back to 1.0, which I hated, it made no sense, super slippery in the forward axis, but no drift at all in the strafing axis, that was terrible, like it's on rails, and it's back
      • 2.0 or "experimental" as it's now called was nearly perfect except could have used a small buff to acceleration (m/s^2) and a smoother less jerky autolevel (jerk = m/s^3 = change in acceleration, as acceleration is change in velocity) and options for when to autolevel.
      • The helicopter method of orienting to the ground is new, and it's great. Really like that feature, and the conversion to 6DoF while sprinting, though changing strafe controls to roll is a bit jarring and unnecessary on a grounded map.

If you're going to quote, quote in the language of the conversation....?

Maybe he's having Chrome translate the page on the fly so that's how he's seeing it.

  11. I'm not sure if it's intended or a bug, if it's intended then I guess this is a request rather than a bug report.

Zaws can't use weapon category universal deluxe skins. I can understand why it might be intentional, but I hope it's not.

I decided to try to make the worst Zaw I could by making it extremely slow and putting Spoiled Strike on it, and slow it was, 0.52. So when I gilded it I called it Permafrost because it was like being cold procced all the time.

Funny thing though, with gilding and taking Spoiled Strike off, (0.65) I actually really liked it, and the name I gave it just happened to fit the Frysta skin, but it can't be equipped.

Its because there was a bug with Eidolon shards that instead of 25k focus, you got 25k endo, so they so they " sent " maroo on a vacation while they fix it, alot of people got banned tho. *You were able to go to maroo and turn in the shards for endo*

Maroo was *moved* to Mars to reduce clutter. She was temporarily *removed* because of the Eidolon thing.

Volt Prime because lightning. Also, he's a jack of all trades. Not the best, but he has a response to everything.

Low level damage? Shock and Overload.

High level range damage? Shield will help.

    Melee? Speed that S#&$ up!

Tiny bastards? (rollers and the little infested mite things) Shock

Getting assaulted? Explosions knocking you over? Picking up an ally? Shield.

    Reloading? CC them with shock.

    AoE cc? Overload!

Teammate buffs? Look no further than all your augments

Getting your team around the plains? Speed!

Got the wrong fishing pole? Static Discharge! (probably will get patched but for now...)

If I'm going into uncharted territory, he's my first go to.

I also like Volt a lot I just haven't been using him lately. Probably partly because of focus changes. Needs some energy regen, but Naramon is my primary so my goal in Zenurik is the waybound passives.
