    I think that melee attack speed should not affect swing animation speed if you go below 1.0 .     So if your weapon has 0.5 attack speed you will just have increased pause between attacks, but swings will be as fast as with 1.0 attack speed.

    Nope. There are plenty of weapons that I like with <1. To me, choosing my attack speed is the most important factor after stance and knockdown immunity. Each category, no each *stance* has a different speed I find ideal. Sometimes it is 1.0, sometimes above, sometimes below.

    To prevent extreme animation locking, let the player choose a faster speed by not building and modding to be the slowest thing possible. It's their choice, let them make it.

    Yup. It's basically putting a forma on it, but costs standing and credits instead of forma. You get to polarize a slot, name it, crit and status chance increase a bit, potato installation is unlocked, color changing is unlocked, and it goes back to unranked.

    I don't think it was the frames sense of self preservation. If you watch the scene, the Warframe does not remove the sword, they break it while it's still embedded in their gut. The sudden breaking of the sword causes one of the pieces to slice from the gut through the shoulder. The animation doesn't show the frame falling into 2 pieces, but it should. The animators likely just didn't want to take the time to do that. It would either be the operator's self preservation and remote control, or the frame's self sacrifice.

    It's something that happens without your input. 

    In Nyx' case, it's just a side effect of playing Nyx. You won't be playing Nyx to not use her powers. It just comes with the territory. You do what Nyx does and some enemies (a lot really) get disarmed. You don't have much to do with it past showing up with Nyx. 

    Same thing with Gata, even if the mechanics are somewhat different. It happens as you play. You'll constantly be moving into and out of light and enemy distance will likewise vary constantly. It happens or it doesn't. You don't play with an eye to making it happen--you usually have more pressing concerns than standing in a sunbeam or spotlight. 

    But you do *have* to cast to get the effect, and that is input. But I didn't say passives are input free, they are power cast free. It literally is just part of her abilities. There's nothing passive about it. Enemies catch fire while playing Ember, you don't play ember without casting, and her powers set things on fire, but it's *not* her passive and she has a passive that is at least truly a passive.

    That got me thinking....what kind of animal / plant life might we see on Venus, seeing as they're possibly redoing the ground tilesets for Venus as a whole?

    Any life would obviously have been transplanted from Earth and evolved / adapted to deal with Venus' unique conditions. There's been some art shown of some large fungal growths shown, but it would be interesting to see animals / insects feeding on them.

    Large space roaches maybe? 

    Alligators? Rodents Of Unusual Size?

    Kuakas should just be everywhere. Stow away on ships that visit Earth and end up anywhere they can possibly end up.

    Make them an invasive species pest problem, chewing on cables and messing up coolant processing equipment.

    The Venus version of the Ghouls could be Kuaka population grows out of control and the locals need the Tenno to help thin their numbers. And just have hundreds of the things running around the place.

    Like tribbles.

    I can't say I really care about the passive. It happens or it doesn't. It doesn't change anything.

    Most passives are like that, though the unpredictability of PB is somewhat problematic. However, Gara has one that behaves in a similar fashion and I haven't seen any complaining about it, so not sure why people get excercised about Nyx'. It's there. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. You drive on regardless. 

    The difference is, Gara's is an actual passive. All you need to do is be near an enemy and in light. No power casting.

    Nyx did not get a passive at all, she got an update to all 4 of her abilities that steals functionality from another frame's ability, who already has an augment for that ability that copies functionality from Nyx in the first place.

    Passive isn't a passive, and was an unwanted update to her abilities.

    Frames were confirmed, not weapons.

    It's not even a passive.

    imo a passive has a simple definition, a frame unique trait that can be used without ever casting an ability.

    Nyx and Chroma do not have passives.

    I never wanted Nyx to have Disarm either.

    Decrease its number to 2 or 3, and I honestly think it's a wonderful idea XD. 

    How about 3, they do 1/3 the damage each, and each one has one of the 3 commands active, so all 3 are active at once on different cats

  11. Allow having as many pets thawed as you want/can afford/your pc can render.

    Allow Kubrows to learn abilities from other breeds by playing with them over time. Say my Sahasa and my friend's Raksa are used all the time, eventually they'd both be able to use any Sahasa and Raksa mods.

  12. One time addition to a timer won't do it, trolls could just move to lengthen the timer and then leave at the end of the longer timer.

    I've posted before in other topics my preferred system: everyone who selected stay re-votes if anyone leaves.

    I also like the suggestion on the first page to change the default to leave instead of stay.

  13. Gravity doesn't stop horizontal movement, and air resistance wouldn't be quick, we are heavy, mass counters air resistance, and we probably aren't even moving at our terminal velocity.

    The reason sliding as much as we do with little ability to stop is a problem with the game physics is because we can point our engines in any direction we want, but for some reason they lose 90% of their power when not arbitrarily pointing behind us.

    But for some reason if we rotate (yaw) while moving now they have 200% power to the sides that we can't turn off if we want to, and I very much want to sometimes, I'd even prefer the Overpowered side thrust to underpowered if it was manually controlled instead of automatic.

    Definitely need 100% power for reverse though. Not being able to stop is ridiculous.

    This thread was pre-Eidolon. He was only meta for certain alerts. 

  15. Try rebooting the router if you haven't. Mine occasionally needs that. Even if speed tests are passing and YouTube is working flawlessly, it would still be trash in games and voip which are real time not something that can be buffered.

    My symptoms were in voip and Warframe only, time seemed to stretch and compress like a spring, things would move fast for 0.2 seconds, then freeze for 0.8, repeat forever. I thought there was no way it could be my router because speed tests. I was wrong.

    I disagree. Not enough variety in a couple new planets. Part of the problem is that what little high level content (and any kind of grinding) there is, is focused in certain places. Earth is a cool tileset. I'd like to play on Earth, but not feel like it's pointless. It doesn't matter if they add Titan as a new lvl 50-60 planet/moon tileset. It would be awesome, but it would get old being the only 50-60 area. And it would require a lot of new art. World Tier requires no art. Kuva Fortress is a quite interesting place, traps are a little annoying though,  and if you want to farm Cyclone Kraken you farm a single Kuva Fortress node for weeks. It stops being interesting fast. 

  17. Delete orb. Raise base gain by 20x. They are a distraction away from mission objectives and teamplay. Annoying. 

    Make lenses movable like Arcanes, actually why not make them *be* Arcanes. Idk. At *least* the movable thing, that's the main idea. It gets old playing the same exact loadout every day, and expensive and wasteful otherwise. Or zero progress. 

    Rework focus nodes on most schools to actually do things besides drain more energy. Oh and make them not drain more energy. 

    Remove capacity unlocks completely.

    Add a way to convert Affinity to another school. Maybe add a Focus Booster that you buy from any school for 25k focus, it doubles the next 25k focus you earn. Thus you can move it but have to work a little bit, but don't lose it.
